I could write about great location and really tasty breakfast but it's the people who make the place! And here work the nicest, friendliest, and most accommodating people. They let me check-in earlier, helped with getting taxis in the city, advised us on the souvenirs we wanted to buy, let us modify the time of our stay (our plans changed while in Nepal), and agreed to make us breakfast at 5:30am because of our early flight! We felt extremely well taken care of. The place is located very well, close to Durbar Square by walk and if you like walking I recommend also going to Swayambhunath by foot from there. I booked the hotel for before the trekking and I liked the place so much that I also booked it for the after trekking. The rooms were clean, with AC and unlimited supply of drinking water. If I go back to Kathmandu I'm only staying here!

Special thanks to Mr Deepak for his warm hospitality and superb customer service.  He personally brought us to our room to make sure it was to our satisfaction upon check in. He is very attentive to our needs and offers help even before we ask.  He makes us feel at home with his warm greetings and attend to our requests immediately. Breakfast from the restaurant is good with indoor or outdoor garden seats. We can request for complimentary coffee and tea from the restaurant during our stay.  The room comes with WiFi, hot shower, mini fridge, TV and aircon. Bottled water, toothbrush and toothpaste provided. Deepak knows a lot about sightseeing and hiking and also gives suggestions.  Guests can book tours and hiking with him.

I had a very pleasant stay at Dream City. The service was outstanding. They are always there to help with any issue. The breakfast was great as well. Don't be afraid of not getting enough, they make sure, that you are ready for a long day of sightseeing! As for my room: It had everything I needed. The bed was comfortable and there was hot/warm water available whenever I needed it. I would stay there again!

The room was quite cold, as no sun was getting in during the day. (That can be subjective though)

Liked it so much, I came back for another stay. See my previous review. Comfortable rooms, really nice breakfast, perfect location, excellent value, and genuine, pleasant, and extremely helpful staff and management. (I don't think I've ever been gifted a Tibetan scarf upon leaving before! :-) ) Once more, a thank you to Mr. Krishna and Mr. Depak and the whole staff.

I'd probably avoid the massage place attached to the property--but I don't think it's affiliated with the hotel.

I Had a great experience, very flexible with breakfast and check-out. The rooms were clean, and the location was excellent. The hospitality made me feel like a family member; the staff always offered tea, coffee, and other drinks whenever they saw me. If I visit Nepal again, I will definitely stay at Dream City and recommend it to others.

I arrived super early in the morning (before 0600) in Hotel Dream by a night bus from Pokhara. The good thing is they have a room for me to check in early, and I could get fresh after the long ride with hot shower and A/C, very good sleep too. Big breakfast included in the morning, you could get pancakes, eggs, toast, sausages, fried noodles and tea or coffee. The boss was so nice he refilled my tea and offered a big breakfast to me. & Very good location, just in Thamel area and 15 mins walk to Durbar Square.

When I checked in to my room, the staff said someone put the bag on my bed and left a mark there, he changed the blanket cover for me immediately so that was completely fine afterwards.

Hotel is in the middle of Thamel, but because of nice garden it looks like you’re in a peaceful place. The rooms are really big, clean and they have everything you need. The best of this hotel is their stuff. The day starts with delicious breakfast. All day cleaning the surrounding and inside the hotel. They also gives you everything you need anytime. They are all so kind that make your stay even more pleasant.

The Hotel Manager Ramhari was very accommodating and ensured we were well looked after. Providing travel information and recommendations on trekking. The double room was spacious and comfortable, with decent air conditioning. The shower was powerful with adequate hot water supply. The included breakfast was incredible. A few things to decent from, with fruit, fruit juice, and hot drink on the side. You won't leave this hotel hungry! The location was ideal for exploring Kathmandu. They stored some of our bags whilst we explored other areas of Nepal, and always welcomed us back after our travels. Amazing service, it'll always be our home in Nepal.

The staff were so nice and caring. They served me so well always asking if everything is fine. They came on time to pick me up. The location is very good for shopping and walking around. Its a very nice and busy area.

Its good value for money and as per the payment done the comfort is not equal to luxury but the hospitality is so good.
