This place is brand new and have amazing hospitality. When I was planing my trip to Nepal, I came across many options for staying but this place stood out for many reasons including its location, amazing online reviews and quietness. I am glad I chose Mila. When I arrived at the hotel around 1.30 in the morning, the owner Thupten Tamang was standing outside to receive me. He was extremely kind, considerate and gentle in his approach. At the check in, his preference was to get me free with in few minutes so I could rest. He also provided change to my ride and insisted on paying later. My room was quiet, brand new, comfortable and had amazing views from the window. You will get a lot of sunlight from the windows. From the aesthetics perspective, this place is very well designed and you could see the hard work Thupten and his team has put in to make this place an absolute dream location to stay at. The food was delicious and staff was very well mannered, respectful and gentle. You will witness the emphasis on sustainability in the hotel design. From smart light systems in corridor to the drinking water availability in your room, you could see a very thought and eco friendly approach. What really stood for me is how much effort Thupten put in to make this place absolutely remarkable. I found him going out of the way to provide guidance and assistance. The next morning he arranged a free ride for me and make sure that I get to the place in time. He personally dropped me at the airport, too. This will always be my place to stay every time I would come to Kathmandu. I will strong recommend you to stay here. this will be your home away from home and you will be treated as a guest and royalty. I will rate this place in the top 2%.

It is a stunning hotel, the interior(Tibetan traditional) design is on international trend. Stunning Snowcap Mountain view along with grand view of Swayambhu Stupa. Room standards, topnotch! Delicious food specially the Mo:mo. All staff were friendly and excellent hospitality. Perfect location, as it was few minutes walking distance from the Thamel(Popular Tourist Hub). When visiting Kathmandu, Mila Hotel will always be my first priority😊.

Well, Since I had an excellent stay in this Hotel. I have no such complains so far. Based on my experience, I am sure every one will have wonderful stay.

The room was modern, large and comfortable. I especially liked how large the desk and working space were, because I was working at the Mila Hotel remotely for a week. I also loved the views from the 5th and 6th floors where I stayed, and the amount of lighting in the room. The shower and bathroom was also spacious and comfortable (shower water pressure was good and water was hot). The service was great - the staff were all extremely polite and attentive. For example, they would even call me if I had not gotten my free/inclusive breakfast yet. The location was great - just a short walking distance from the bustle of Thamel, but just off the main road enough for some quiet.

The continental breakfast could have had more beverage or Western food options, but overall I enjoyed and took advantage of the breakfast!

The staff are all excellect. Those on reception speak very good English, and are extremely polite and helpful. There is no fear of rip-off prices. Even the cab was ordered on Uber, with no extra fee. The bed was very comfortable, and the room well appointed. It was their wuiet season, hence the breakfast was à la carte. Normally it's a buffet. The evening meals were far better than those which I had in Thamel, which I found a bit touristy and overpriced. It is conveniently placed between Thamel and Durbar Square. Maybe 15 minute walk either way.

The hotel's central location proved to be incredibly convenient, allowing easy exploration of the city's key attractions and convenient access to public transportation. All food joints (be it any cuisine) and the best-ranked pub i.e., LOD is a 10-minute walk. We were particularly pleased with the hotel's commitment to safety, creating a secure and welcoming environment. One of the standout features for me was the hotel's assistance in arranging budget-friendly cabs whenever needed. This thoughtful service not only saved me time but also added a seamless touch to my transportation needs.

The owner and staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful, giving the place a lovely vibe in a central location. Short walks to the bazaars and Durbah Square. Less than half an hour walk to Swayambhunath Temple. Very quiet rooms with very comfortable beds. Bit of a tranquil retreat feel about it tucked away in a side street from the hustle and bustle. Great rooftop bar with lovely views and genuinely friendly helpful staff behind the bar

Rooftop Bar was a really great place to relax with stunning views over the city. Staff were great and arranged a room for us after checkout ahead of our flights which was super helpful. Nice modern hotel.

A little on the pricey side for Katmandu and it would have been good to have had free access to Netflix etc - but overall happy and would stay again.

All of the staff were very attentive, kind and respectful. Thupten was very friendly, accommodating and helpful to my individual needs with great suggestions on things to do and helped me a lot with organising day trips and extending my stay at Mila Hotel. The room was amazing with stunning views of Swayambhunath stupa and the Kathmandu Valley. I was extremely fortunate to have been gifted a room upgrade. The entire hotel is absolutely stunning and is decorated beautifully. From the entrance area, the dinning area and the special touches noted all throughout the hotel. The bed and pillows are wonderful. Very spacious rooms with ample storage for clothing and luggage bags. There is a decent sized safety deposit box in the rooms too. The different lightning options in the room is a great feature too. Hot water all the time and pressure is very good. The food…where do I start…breakfast was amazing! There is a great variety of food options on the menu. The momos and Thukpa were my favorites. Beautiful pastries on offer too. Options to leave luggage in storage too.

We stayed here again after our trip to pokhara and they really don’t disappoint.. room is clean and comfortable.. and staff are always lending a helping hand.. it is the staff that made my stay in nepal a memorable one.. thanks alot guys!

This one have nothing to do with the hotel but i just want to give other traveler a heads up about the airport, especially the immigration, it needs alot of improvement. I waited in line for almost 2 hrs just to pass immigration! It was so disorganized and people are fighting over just to get ahead of the line!!! The immigration officers at the “foreign”passport counter doesn’t even at least speak basic english!!!! I almost missed my flight even i was 3hrs ahead my flight!!!Horrible experience!!! I’ve been to alot of countries, and so far this is the worst!!!

The Tibetan themed hotel was beautifully decorated in the lobby area and the rooftop offered lovely views.The kindness and generosity of the staff was supreme. I was lost my first day and the reception team (Sonnika) sent someone to get me - completely unexpected and very humbling. Pramila, another team member, took me to get my Nepali SIM card which really helped with GPS and phone calls. The restaurant team (Prashant, Ram, Ryalis, Ushaat, and Asamyra) also provided amazing restaurant service. The housekeeping team, Lakshmi and Kumari were also fabulous and so attentive. I learned about pathao (similar to Lyft/Uber) which the team helped me to order each morning (bike or taxi) and I also downloaded on my phone which made it very convenient to get transport. It was these small gestures that made an incredible impression. I was really touched by their kindness.

I thought everything was great. There was no chance to be disappointed because the staff was so attentive.
