Hotel Mila is perhaps the best hotel I have ever stayed in; the hotel room is extremely good value for the price. The hotel is very well located. It is on the edge of Thamel, bordering Chhetrapati. This means you get both the benefit of a quiet hotel but located within walking distance to major locations (e.g., all the shops and restaurants in Thamel, Kathmandu Durbar Square etc.). The view from our room (605) was exceptional, looking out directly towards Swayambhu. The room itself was very spacious, clean, filled with natural light yet fitted with good blackout curtains, a clean and functional bathroom, lots of universal power points, and a comfortable bed. The staff were very approachable, friendly and helpful with every request we had. The hotel restaurant offered delicious and good quality food, with both Nepali and foreign options, at reasonable prices. I really cannot speak more highly of Hotel Mila!

This place is brand new and have amazing hospitality. When I was planing my trip to Nepal, I came across many options for staying but this place stood out for many reasons including its location, amazing online reviews and quietness. I am glad I chose Mila. When I arrived at the hotel around 1.30 in the morning, the owner Thupten Tamang was standing outside to receive me. He was extremely kind, considerate and gentle in his approach. At the check in, his preference was to get me free with in few minutes so I could rest. He also provided change to my ride and insisted on paying later. My room was quiet, brand new, comfortable and had amazing views from the window. You will get a lot of sunlight from the windows. From the aesthetics perspective, this place is very well designed and you could see the hard work Thupten and his team has put in to make this place an absolute dream location to stay at. The food was delicious and staff was very well mannered, respectful and gentle. You will witness the emphasis on sustainability in the hotel design. From smart light systems in corridor to the drinking water availability in your room, you could see a very thought and eco friendly approach. What really stood for me is how much effort Thupten put in to make this place absolutely remarkable. I found him going out of the way to provide guidance and assistance. The next morning he arranged a free ride for me and make sure that I get to the place in time. He personally dropped me at the airport, too. This will always be my place to stay every time I would come to Kathmandu. I will strong recommend you to stay here. this will be your home away from home and you will be treated as a guest and royalty. I will rate this place in the top 2%.

The room was modern, large and comfortable. I especially liked how large the desk and working space were, because I was working at the Mila Hotel remotely for a week. I also loved the views from the 5th and 6th floors where I stayed, and the amount of lighting in the room. The shower and bathroom was also spacious and comfortable (shower water pressure was good and water was hot). The service was great - the staff were all extremely polite and attentive. For example, they would even call me if I had not gotten my free/inclusive breakfast yet. The location was great - just a short walking distance from the bustle of Thamel, but just off the main road enough for some quiet.

The continental breakfast could have had more beverage or Western food options, but overall I enjoyed and took advantage of the breakfast!

Absolutely worth staying place. Everything positive, from the energy of the wonderful staff to the breathtaking view from the room towards Swayambhu. Hotel situated almost in the heart of Thamel with a lot of good restaurants and eating spots in its area, although we have tried some meals in the hotel and they were quite good, especially Nepali thali. Nice restaurant / bar at the rooftop. Room cleaned on demand, hotel very tidy. The staff very friendly and helpful. Spent one week and I'll back for sure. Best regards from room six zero one.

It is a stunning hotel, the interior(Tibetan traditional) design is on international trend. Stunning Snowcap Mountain view along with grand view of Swayambhu Stupa. Room standards, topnotch! Delicious food specially the Mo:mo. All staff were friendly and excellent hospitality. Perfect location, as it was few minutes walking distance from the Thamel(Popular Tourist Hub). When visiting Kathmandu, Mila Hotel will always be my first priority😊.

Well, Since I had an excellent stay in this Hotel. I have no such complains so far. Based on my experience, I am sure every one will have wonderful stay.

The staff are all excellect. Those on reception speak very good English, and are extremely polite and helpful. There is no fear of rip-off prices. Even the cab was ordered on Uber, with no extra fee. The bed was very comfortable, and the room well appointed. It was their wuiet season, hence the breakfast was à la carte. Normally it's a buffet. The evening meals were far better than those which I had in Thamel, which I found a bit touristy and overpriced. It is conveniently placed between Thamel and Durbar Square. Maybe 15 minute walk either way.

The staff were terrific! They work hard and also are very friendly. I loved talked to them about parts of Nepal and they are open to giving great suggestions on where to go. The rooms were massive for the price, and the services you get is great.

The food for breakfast was very basic but this really isn't a big turn off for me since you only want to eat snacks at the hotel and go out to eat what Nepal has to offer instead.

The hotel's central location proved to be incredibly convenient, allowing easy exploration of the city's key attractions and convenient access to public transportation. All food joints (be it any cuisine) and the best-ranked pub i.e., LOD is a 10-minute walk. We were particularly pleased with the hotel's commitment to safety, creating a secure and welcoming environment. One of the standout features for me was the hotel's assistance in arranging budget-friendly cabs whenever needed. This thoughtful service not only saved me time but also added a seamless touch to my transportation needs.

The owner and staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful, giving the place a lovely vibe in a central location. Short walks to the bazaars and Durbah Square. Less than half an hour walk to Swayambhunath Temple. Very quiet rooms with very comfortable beds. Bit of a tranquil retreat feel about it tucked away in a side street from the hustle and bustle. Great rooftop bar with lovely views and genuinely friendly helpful staff behind the bar

Rooftop Bar was a really great place to relax with stunning views over the city. Staff were great and arranged a room for us after checkout ahead of our flights which was super helpful. Nice modern hotel.

A little on the pricey side for Katmandu and it would have been good to have had free access to Netflix etc - but overall happy and would stay again.
