The location is primo. You are 3 minutes from the hard rock and everything else in Amsterdam centrum is a short walk or tram ride away. The hotel is in the middle of an upscale shopping district (Prada , etc). The Van Gogh museum is close as well
Bring wall chargers for your phones. The USB chargers do not work. There will be a lot of loud people passing your window every night. Beds are comfy but it’s loud outside.

Great location and easy to reach. The staff is very friendly and helpful. The rooms have a good daily cleaning. The wifi is good as well. Every morning great smell of the breakfast everywhere in the hotel.
Very noisy from outside. I slept on the 4th floor and I could hear every single car and people passing by on the street. Not a big disturbance, but good to know if this bothers you.

I picked Hotel Cornelisz for a one-night stay in Amsterdam based on its great location and the good value for money, and I wasn't disappointed. The Rijksmuseum and Van Gogh Museum, which I wanted to visit, are just a few minutes' walk from the hotel, and the Vondelpark as well as numerous bars and restaurants are also closeby. If you're into shopping, you'll find everything your heart desires (albeit at lofty prices) in Pieter Cornelisz Hooftstraat. I arrived more than two hours before the check-in time just to drop off my luggage at the hotel, yet the receptionist was so kind as to upgrade me to a small double room that was already available, so I could check right in. All other staff were very friendly as well, the room was clean and just large enough for a single person (it would feel quite tiny for two) and the breakfast offered everything I was looking for.

Staff were absolutely lovely, really friendly and couldn't be more helpful. Bed super comfortable (gutted we couldn't bring it back to the UK!), and the room was immaculate, and facilities were great- the shower was a particular favourite! There's a private smoking terrace (if required) to avoid smoking in the street, attached to a comfortable lounge. Location is further out from the main areas of the city- don't stay here if you're looking to go party, but if you're looking at visiting museums and a peaceful stay near to some of the best locations and amenities Amsterdam has to offer then you'll be well served.
The stairs! 5 floors of tiny steep stairs and sloping ceilings in the room (but that's normal for Amsterdam). Thankfully there is a lift on site.

I loved staying in the Museumplein area, located a few minutes walk from the Rijksmuseum and Van Gogh museum. There were very frequent 2/12 trams that took us around the city. The room was very large, lovely view of the street and very clean and safe. It was also great having an elevator and we were able to store luggage
This is very very minor but the bathroom was very narrow, as the shower screen took up half the space. Anyone larger than the average weight would struggle getting dressed and using the facilities. Our shower tap was very stiff and we struggled to turn the shower on and off, and had to use a towel for grip. I’m not sure if it’s faulty or all showers were like that. However, this is very minor!! I absolutely loved the room and would happily stay here again

Room location was fantastic. Near the hotel district, on the same road as a shopping area. Only 2-4 blocks away from Vondelpark and night life district. Easy foot acces and bus/tram access to Central station. The room was clean and quiet. Let us store our bags prior to check in. check out was easy. We left early so we missed the breakfast but the breakfast area and the lounge area on the second floor were cute. Loved the place.
Would have been nice to have an air conditioner since I usually run a little on the hot side, but its kind of hard to retrofit buildings in Europe so no worries. We went in the late summer so temps were okay. THey did have a good fan in the room though.

The hotel is located in a very convenient location, 4 minutes walk away from the Rijksmuseum, and only a few minutes away from public transportation, which connects both to the city center and to the airport. Although very central, it's still quite far from the more crowded area, which made it perfect for us. Breakfast was quite good as well, with several continental options available. The room per se was not exceptional, but clean and comfortable enough for our 2 nights stay. Definitely recommended!
The elevator is quite small and slow, which means you would need to wait for a few minutes before being able to use it, our you have to take the stairs which are a little steep and narrow.

Location and cleanliness, bathroom , room , bed.
Our room was located on 4th etage, I understand from my friends who also had rooms next to mine that there was problems with water running in from the windows, any way in our room there was no problems with water running in but we had a very irritating problem with sound of drops and this make it hard to sleep. They have to fix this asap if they dont want to have people complainingall the time. When I complained , the reaction was we will deliver the message to the organisation , nothing more. I am easy going and dont want to make big thing but if you pay round 200 for each night than you want the staff to take you more serious.

Breakfast was excellent. Breakfast Lady Ms. June was amazing. Food was delicious and very presentable. The coffee area was clean and very nice, The cinamon rolls were my favorite! Kudos to Ms. June as she handle everything great. Ms. June deserves a bonus for a great job. Mr. Moe @ the desk was very helpful getting me a refrigerator. Ms. Draka @ the desk was AMAZING and very PROFESSIONAL!
Rooms were a little small. I wish I had a view of the city.

Great location with all tourist sites within easy reach. Staff are very friendly & happy to help if you have any queries. The rooms were of a good size & the bed was so comfortable it was better than the one I have at home. There were fans provided which kept the room cool & sun shades on the window as well. I would recommend anyone to stay at this hotel.
Nothing. I loved everything about this hotel.
