The hotel is located relatively far from the city center, however the metrostation is in 2-3 minutes walking distance and you can easily reach the city center. The hotel room was nice and tidy, but we experienced difficulties with turning on and off the water in the bathroom.

Apart from the hotel, which we enjoyed, we would like to expess our disappointment with the restaurant within it. Poor menu, very high prices but the worst part was we saw a mouse in the restaurant. It was walking around the tables while we were dining. We panicked and called the waitress however, they did not seem very bothered by this information. We left the restaurant disgusted and disappointed. The only person who did something was the receptionist of the hotel who apologized for the restaurant. Definetely do not recommend this place.

Honestly, this is the best hotel room I have even stayed in. Amazing bed, great bathroom (lightning could not be so orange though, putting make up on was a bit of a challenge), comfortable seats by the window, and the location is great if you are visiting the city for a concert in Afas Live or Ziggo Dome, like we did. Breakfast was also very delicious, and staff were friendly, polite and helpful.

Do not get me wrong, we absolutely enjoyed our stay. However, be sure about the payments you have made. First, the hotel charged me twice for the room when I had to add a different credit card to my account. Truth to be told - I have been refunded momentarily after contacting the hotel. Second, I always choose “breakfast included” option. A few days before we arrive I received an automatic message, that breakfast is not included, but I can add it for additional charge. The same came up when we checked in. Both times I asked staff to check again, and everything was fine at the end. Therefore, I suggest to keep record of your payments.

Beds are HUUUUGE. Was lovely. And each room has a Nespresso machine and a yoga mat. Nice touches.

Check in was slow and the lobby didn't really fit the queue of people waiting to check in. Seems madness in the 21st century that hotel check-in still requires *writing your email address onto bits of paper and signing paper printouts*.

- Spacious rooms - Very helpful staff - Subway just a short walk away - Spacious bathroom with plenty of shelves - Thankfully there were no events in the nearby arena, so the stay was relatively quite (there is an ongoing construction in the area)

The shower has these "designer" touch buttons that may just not work. The hotel staff are as frustrated with them as the guests, and receive dozens of complaints. One of the suggestions was "keep the buttons dry and press as hard as you can with your knuckles", which is ridiculous. Thankfully, the hotel was nearly empty, and they found a new room for us where the buttons work. And of course the doors to the bathroom have now sound or smell isolation. Also, avoid the restaurant. The food is hilariously bad.

This is probably one of the best hotels in Amsterdam. Admittedly a little off (but very close to metro and train to/from airport) and sort of designed for events nearby like concerts or sports, but it’s fantastic. Rooms are spacious, pillows are magic, and the spa area is wonderful. For Dutch standards, breakfast is very good too. There’s a guy doing omelletes that will blow your mind.

Have stayed here a couple of times (= I keep coming back). Sometimes rooms are a litle worn out - for instance chairs for the desk (a lose backrest)or are too low for the desk but core facilities in the room are great. My main issue is access to cold water in the spa area (there is a water tank in the gym but none in the spa area).

We liked the comfortable bed, it was like a cloud. The window seating area was lovely. The breakfast was good.

We just didn't like the check in process. The QR code system is just stupid, you've literally got a member of staff to check you in standing in front of you behind a computer. The fact I had to scan a QR code to check in and fill out the same details I had given in booking.com, then the staff had to grab a tablet to scan my generated QR code from the form I just had to fill out, was just slow, stupid and impersonal. There were QR codes plastered everywhere in the building, offering check out from an app. You scan it because after the check in process you thought you had to, but you find out it doesn't work and you're not allowed to check out via the app that you just scanned the QR. What's the point?

Everything was of a very high standard. The room was lovely, the breakfast was excellent and the staff were very friendly. It is far from the centre but there is a metro stop 5 minutes away. In the centre you will pay the same money for a hotel 3 floors below. I would definitely choose it again.

It's not exactly a negative. It's more of a complaint. We arrived at 1:00 PM and while the hotel was empty, so probably had a room available, we waited until 3:00 PM to check in. It should be noted that I had informed the day before that we would arrive a little earlier.

Really cool hotel, lovely public spaces and great rooms. Bed very comfortable, view from 10th floor amazing.

The shower was a bit temperamental, and wouldn’t stay on when switched on. The tech in the room seemed like a great idea but ended up just being more trouble than it was worth, especially as it didn’t hold a charge so battery flat every time I returned to room. I don’t like self check in. It’s cheap and nasty, and should only be used (if it must be used) in budget hotels, and Jaz is not a budget hotel nor charging budget rates. It’s especially inappropriate when there are staff on reception. Thankfully, the guy behind reception did check me in when I asked, and he also gave us some treats as it was my birthday.

✔ The room was large, modern and spotlessly clean – important for a comfortable stay. ✔ The staff were polite and welcoming, which makes all the difference. ✔ The breakfast (apart from the charging issue) was rich and in a beautiful setting. ✔ The location near the Amsterdam Arena and shops was practical.

The hotel had not correctly recorded the already paid breakfast, leading to a double charge. Inconsistent pricing (€39 vs. €45 for the same thing) and demands for undeserved payment (€90 at checkout). Unacceptable request to send your card details via email – this is dangerous and unprofessional.

Location was good. It was near the train and metro station. And you can easily get to the centre and to the airport also. breakfast was good I paid for it. But I think it is high price. Actually you can see 3 different price for breakfast and it can confuse you. We wanted twin room and they firstly gave for us double. But then faster found what we wanted. Size of rooms was great. Hotel situated near the arena where many concerts were and Johan Cruijff Arena. We had problem after we checked out. When we checked in and checked out. Nobody from staff said us you must pay extra for city tax. Actually I paid all taxes and fees which was included to the price. there was a misunderstanding and we solved it by helping Genius service. I searched many hotels in Amsterdam the size of rooms and reviews about cleaning was not so good. But this hotel was good. A little bit pricier but not too bad
