I was upgraded to the suite with Spa Bath which was very nice. The jets make a lot of noise but are working perfectly. There is also a bathrobe in the wardrobe. The TV has a lot of channels. The view towards the sea is fantastic. I liked the wood furniture, just a shame they put in such an ugly carpet. The curtains and decoration pillows are matching and beautiful. The bed was good and heating worked well. I did not cook but as far as I could see it was well equipped. There is a lift for the higher floors. Staff were very friendly. Parking is good and the hotel is in walking distance to town. There is a very good Indian Restaurant at the corner of the hotel.

We arrived early and there was a lot of confusion (on my part!) over which rooms were ready etc. but we had early access to some of the rooms which was lovely as we were traveling with an elderly relative. The staff were all very helpful and friendly. It’s right on the seafront so most of the rooms have views of the sea, and it’s an easy walk into the centre of Napier. Breakfast isn’t included but there’s a restaurant you can access directly from the hotel which I think provides breakfast - we actually went there in the evening for a delicious curry, with very friendly staff, but did not use it for breakfast. Again, with the elderly relative, it was lovely to just stroll into a curry house. The rooms are clean and we had I think been upgraded (still confused) so ended up with loads of beds between us, we could have actually fitted into one less room than we had booked for our party because there are sofabeds too, but anyway it was lovely to have so much space. Everything very clean, milk and tea coffee etc is provided in all the rooms. Would definitely recommend.

The motel is located conveniently on the main strip overlooking the beach. The room I had was nicely divided with a louvre window between the living and sleeping areas to minimise disturbances. I was also pleasantly surprised by the spa pool in the bedroom, it would have been even better if the TV was viewable from the spa though.

Some cracks on the bathroom floor, the toilet paper holder was too far behind to reach, single-ply toilet paper, and being above the restaurant and next to the guest laundry, some machinery noises can be heard.

Clean, tidy, private and modern. Many thanks to the staff who gave us extra toilet paper and the cleaners who cleaned our dishes and replaced all our towels and soap. This was a great suprise as we stayed 2 nights.

Please use the correct product in your bathroom e.g the handwash, shampoo and body wash is the same product and has an unpleasant smell. Please consider using the correct natural product as the bottle states it is. Also some bubble bath would have been a nice touch.

Free wifi, staff friendly, facility clean

A bit expensive for what you got, room wasn’t serviced everyday and needed clean bathroom linen, had to call room service a few times during our stay. We were supposed to get 2 beds instead we got a bed and a pull out couch, which was very hard to operate each night.

An excellent stay. We arrived later than expected but staff rang to check in on us. The Nautilus was central and in a great location. Our room was upgraded and we were given a bottle of wine on arrival as it was our wedding anniversary. So thoughtful. The room was clean and well resourced. Staff were friendly and we appreciated the lift. We will definitely stay here again.

The location was great right by the beach which was so beautiful. It was really spacious love how big the room was. The bed was so comfortable. The tv was really big and lovely to watch and listen to music on.

The spa was quite small. There was no freezer which was annoying because we were going to have ice cream but we couldn’t. There was some marks on the wall. There was something smeared on the toilet paper when we first got there.

I attended a function on the Saturday night in town, and it was close enough to walk to it. Coffee / Food cart across the road was a great pick me up on the Sunday. plenty of parking.

The shower leaked terribly, so the bath mat was soaked, and a big puddle of water on the tiles. May just need a guard strip on the bottom of the door. Ice cube tray didn't really freeze up, and was very small

Room exceptionally clean, tidy, warm and well presented. Motelier very kind and welcoming. He had made contact by txt earliet in the day to check on arrival time.

Booked on the 3rd floor of property, no functioning lift for luggage transfer. Motelier unable to offer an alternative option for accomodation and did not offer to assist with luggage transfer to the 3rd floor room. Did not like the spa bath in the bedroom.

I was so grateful to find this apartment available after we realised at the last minute that there was a mix-up with the dates attending the Robbie concert. It met all our needs, a large king bed in the main room which also had settee and TV. Smaller bedroom with 2 singles, large bathroom with huge bath and shower. Kitchenette in corridor/galley leading to main room. View over marine parade, beach and sea, from main room.

Price was hyped due to the weekend and concert, but I was almost grateful for that, as that is probably why it was available.
