Location is in the country about 4ks from New Plymouth city. Chalets have balconies with comfortable chairs so you can sit and enjoy the views of the sea and sunset. Lovely and quiet very private with a car park right outside your chalet door. We chose a superior apartment for extra room. The living area was upstairs with an extra bathroom plus 2 sofas to lounge on. The bedroom was downstairs with a very luxurious bathroom with double handbasins and double shower heads in the large shower. Upon arrival there was a complimentary bottle of wine waiting for us.

Location was fantastic and the chalet was modern, furnished to a high standard and comfortable. It had its own kitchen with just enough equipment to cook a simple evening meal for two, but the proximity of the Vineyard restaurant a definite bonus! There was a bit of confusion around the keys, which was sorted relatively efficiently but slightly clunky communication with the hosts.

A bit more information in the chalet about the location, closest amenities, things to do in the immediate area e.g. walks, beaches etc. would have been helpful.

The view was stunning! I had canceled my reservation by mistake and Rae and her daughter were very understanding. I thank God that they had a room ready because nothing in the area would have compared to this! My partner the thought that I had paid hundreds of dollars more for it then it cost. I did travel off season. It rained the whole time but the covered porch area came in very handy. It was very luxurious staying a night in a vineyard with a fancy restaurant!

It was a little cool and there was only one mini split to heat the area. The heated towels were a very luxurious touch!

We really loved the view, the cleanliness and the restaurant was delicious! It accommodated myself partner and 4month old well. The only disappointing thing was we never received our free wine even though the email from the venue themselves stated we were to receive one (not just booking.com) so we had to buy our own and the Sav was nice!

Lived sitting outside watching the sun go down then my hubby was up early why still dark and he was amazed to watch the shooting stars room was clean ,bed so comfortable

Another couple in the next chalet came outside and felt awqurd to try and share the main outdoor table and chair between the 2 chalets

Very quiet and well appointed. Super shower and nice breakfast left for us. We also appreciated the bottle of wine. Loved waking up in the morning and looking out at the lovely scenery/views.

We were attending a wedding and would have appreciated a long mirror to check out our attire before leaving (top to bottom view) Also a box of tissues in the bathroom would have been useful as well as a dish cloth to wipe the bench down. We did have tea towels and a hand towel but didn’t like to use those following water being left after doing the dishes.

Awesome view and great position and you can see the sunrise from your bed

Toilet seat moved all the time and needs adjustment. Would be nice to have a couch in the room rather than just chairs but not sure how it could fit in

Situated on a vineyard, over looking the Tasman Sea with stunning views - it was idyllic! Lovely spacious, and well equipped Chalets. Although we did not required it, I loved how our chalet was well set up for the disabled wheelchair user.

Cleverly thought out. Very comfortable

Kitchen was poorly stocked in term of equipment especially since the rest is closed Monday to Thurs. not even a bread knife and tiny plates

Location was good.

The actual chalet booked was changed and we didn't receive notification until we arrived and then had to sort things out. Some indication that the Bistro was heavily booked would have been useful.
