Nothing to dislike. A great addition would be an electric cooking plate as there is no cooker/oven. Only microwave which is also fine but good to know there is no cooking facilities. The bed was a bit on the small side for us (2 large persons) but ok for one night 😇

The place is super cute and very well appointed. We got to meet their cute pups which was awesome. The house is really close to town which has a decent selection of restaurants. We ate at the Thai place very good. The room is huge and has everything you need. Nice outdoor area and very private as well with outside space and grassy area. We were going to the glow worms thw following day and it was a quick 20min drive down

A great place with plenty of space and comfortable conditions. The self-service breakfast was well-stocked and lacked nothing. I didn’t use all the amenities, but the stay was an authentic, idyllic experience of the New Zealand countryside. The owner was super friendly and made the stay even more enjoyable. Plus, it’s very close to Otorohanga, which is super convenient Definitely worth recommending!

We stayed one night after visiting the Waitomo Glowworm Caves. It was very nice. The guest suite was spacious, clean and comfy. We especially loved the outdoor sitting area. It was a nice spot for coffee in the morning. We didn’t get a chance to meet our host, Bobbi, but we communicated via messages. Her check in instructions were very clear and easy to understand.

Perhaps some fresh fruit for breakfast.

A large room that combined bed and lounge/kitchenette was very comfortable. The location was quiet and not far out of town. We enjoyed the continental breakfast and biscuits that were provided.

The large step up into and out of the shower. There was nothing but the glass sliding door to hang onto and it could be a hazard for some.

Great place to stay! Just outside of the town but very close by. The room was massive and had everything I needed for my stay. Lovely location and very private, the breakfast was a thoughtful touch :).

The heater wasn't very good at heating the room, good thing I had extra layers and there were blankets!

Well equipped, clean and spacious! Beautiful surroundings. We had a relaxing couple days here. Just a couple mins from town centre and about 15 mins from the glow worm caves. Met Bobbi (the host) and she’s lovely. We appreciated continental breakfast being left for us. Completely recommend

Initially I thought that I booked the wrong place, however the photos do not do it justice. Large space, facilities contain all amenities that you require. Water is hot. Heating is great. Breakfast was greater than satisfactory. Also, fresh cows milk definitely made a difference. Very content with my choice after staying here.

The breakfast supplies were very generous and varied. The room was large and comfortable. The view from the back garden was lovely - complete with sheep. It was close to the town and easy to access. The best part was the outdoor bath - we absolutely loved it and enjoyed the luxury after a day of cold black water rafting at Waitomo.
