Was very comfortable and had everything to suit my needs. The spa pool was perfectly hot. Bed was comfortable, had a brilliant sleep!! The rate was cheap for the one night’s stay. Overall had a lovely time.

1. No plug for the kitchen sink or bathroom. Couldn’t wash my dishes or do a facial. 2. Could do with an updated makeover, quite old but was ok. 3. Parking was a way from the unit, quite inconvenient for unpacking and loading up. 4. No heater in the unit, quite a cold night so had to go to bed early. TV was in the lounge so couldn’t watch the late live sports. 5. Steep drive out of the motel. Lucky it was a dry morning, hate to think if it was wet and slippery.

Room was tired but met our needs. Could do with some updating esthetically and the appliances but could still cook, so not an issue, windows - not secure while out during the day, but provided with ample fans to keep the room cool. Fridge,couch needs updating. The salt pool (except first step) and spa are a great asset. Driveway tricky but doable. Beautiful scenery and view. Extremely happy with our stay. Value for money. Had an issue and it was addressed promptly although not fixed due to public holiday. Thank you.

Aesthetics

Very spacious unit and mostly in pretty good nick. Clean and comfortable.

The bathroom was a good size, but needs a bit of TLC (ceiling paint peeling, mouldy sealant around the shower). One of the sockets by the bed was broken. There were sparse utensils, given it was a kitchen with full oven and stovetop (eg. nothing to flip the bacon or egg, only one sharp knife which was a bread knife). The scourer on the sponge was missing, which made cleaning pots hard. Outdoor furniture was a bit grotty.

The new motel owners are friendly. They said the are starting to take over this motel from 5th June 2025. They will renew this motel's bad comments by their struggles improvements. We were staying this motel for one night. We feel quite happy we can choose this motel for the first time visiting the Bay of island hotel. Since here has woundful night vision, clear milky way, quite silence, not bad space & beds, and very cheap fee. We will come back here again!!

Stayed Saturday clocked in at 4pm. Owners were onn xx Spa pool an swimming pool Our babys enjoyed themselves the most. Settled into our rooms Again my 3 babys loved there bedroom Family time an the games room was a bonus

No aligated parking . First in first serve base ment I had to park my car all the way by room 8 when I was in room 12 so I took it upon myself to park in the 5min load zone which the owner allowed me too thank you.

Love the location - the view is so spectacular, Bonus of it all my children had the most amazing time - spa, the pool and the gaming lounge was a hit We definitely will be visiting again Thank you Aloha Seaview Resort

The driveway entrance needs abit of work (Due to low vehicle scraping on the way down or out) Glow in the dark strip should be used for outdoor: front entrance (as a warning ⚠️ to mind your step) Great place 10/10

Clean room, comfy beds, quiet location. The manager was very friendly and polite despite being busy. Plenty of off-street parking. The room had a nice balcony overlooking the pool and sea view.

The bathroom was a bit sad, cracks in the shower and just a bit of a worn out feeling. We had to repair the portable fan as was bent and room was quite hot at night. For $605 for one night, expected a little more but was quite adequate anyway.

It was a very comfortable stay. We had our 7 children 3 with partners and 2 grandchildren in four different rooms. Each different and ideal for us. Too cold for pool use but it looked inviting. Spa pool was great for grand bbies both 1yrs. So if u were hoping for hot, it's not like that. Also 30mins per person or group in spa which was good. Games room was good. The boys hung out there alot. We brought table tennis balls but that's minor. Used the BBQ for family lunch. A couple spread out for use. We stayed 2 days and 2 nights. Loved it. Staff is very comfortable. They stay out of ur way unless noisy or needed. It's a great place!

Only one thing we didn't like. Which was when we woke for early morning loo. We saw a couple roaches on kitchen bench.

Perfect place to stay and very affordable. Room was very spacious, clean and comfortable. Handy to paihia township. Booked for 2nights absolutely loved it very quiet and peaceful. Lots of things to do on property for anyone with children would definitely recommend and will definitely be staying again sometime in the future.

Only down fall is the steep hill of the entrance. Be careful pulling out of the driveway as it is on a sharp bend.

We had a large room for 3 persons good view from our balcony.

Parking was a bit of a shamosal. Pillows were foul and need to be bined. Garden needs alot of attention and laundry needs help yuk. For the prices you charge, things need to be done pronto. Huge lot of maintenance needs to be undertaken. Male manager and cleaner were great. Such a huge establishment that needs a complete overhaul. But it won't get done, so I will stop wasting my time.
