Stunning location, bar, restaurant and overall outlook. Staff were super friendly and attentive. Beds are extremely comfortable and heating whisper quiet.

Paid for two rooms so our children could be next door (12, 15). Same price x 2 rooms (we paid for breakfast within room charge) but management charged extra for them eating ‘adult’ breakfast. Not about the $$, the principle. Silly considering we ate at Nest restaurant (3 course dinner x 4) and had drinks and nibbles at the bar each night. Sometimes common sense needs to prevail rather than Lenny pinching considering we spent approx $6k for 4 nights.

We had breakfast included in our room rate so were lucky to try everything on the menu - it was delicious! We also had dinner there one night - the views, service and food were amazing. A big shout out to all the staff we interacted with - from the front desk to everyone whom served us breakfast/dinner and even the cleaners - everyone was so friendly and that is a big testament to what a fantastic hotel this is. It's a great location as there's a bus stop (only a 2min walk away) and the facilities (e.g. Kamana Soak) were utilised and enjoyed. I know I've mentioned it but one of the best things was definitely the views when eating at Nest - it takes your breath away each time you look outside. We really enjoyed our stay at Kamana - thank you.

We loved the location and facilities at the resort. The restaurant and bar/lounge area was so lovely to sit and chill of an afternoon by the fire. Views were spectacular and mountains and view could be seen from all angles. Amenities were ample and good value for money. Nest for breakfast and dinner was delicious and menu was well catered.

Loved the breakfast included although it would have been nice to have some additional options or changes been able to be made with the meals. For example- tomatoes, mushrooms or spinach as sides with the eggs on toast. Plus some yoghurt to have with the complementary cereals.

Clean and modern , Amazing breathtaking views , lovely bar with cozy fireplaces and nice cocktails , great breakfast with heaps of choice , comfy room with nice bed and good shower , good location on the hill only a 5 min drive to town . We will definitely stay here again when we return to Queenstown

Didn’t like that we weren’t allocated our own park as it meant we had to drive around looking for a park Was disappointed with the hot tub having construction outside as it was not private and there were workers that could see us, understandably this isn’t the hotels fault but might have been nice to know that this was the situation as we might have chosen to book the Onsen hot tub instead ( or even just charged a discounted hot tub rate ?) anyways we still enjoyed it

We reached early . Tasleema Tarin the ambassador at the reception was gracious and kind we left our luggage . She tried to contact us however as we were travelling could not get her messages that the room was ready . She moved our bags to the room had everything ready when we came few minutes later . Gave us some excellent suggestions about the city . Vincent showed us the tub and explained the process recommending the cocktails . Christianne the evening floor manager was gracious and kind answering our questions and later Jessica checked us out in the early hours when we left. The nest restaurant three course was the best we have had on this trip . The balance , presentation A group of young professionals who all made our stay very comfortable.

I had requested a room with a view . The room allotted was in the corner with no view at all .

We stayed at Kamana for Christmas, what a stunning location. The hotel is fabulous and the view is amazing. We had a standard room which was nicely decorated and had a balcony. We also booked a session in the soakie, which despite the adjacent building works was really relaxing (although no work was taking place at the time). The hotel is a little out of town but taxi's are easy to order and it is nice to be away from the hustle and bustle. The 7 course taster menu in the restaurant and the daily breakfasts were also delicious and the lounge was very cosy with the log burners. Would thoroughly recommend.

Kamana Lake House Hotel is a gem with stunning design and exceptionally helpful, friendly staff. From the warm welcome—including wine and chocolate—to the incredibly comfortable beds and complimentary hot tub, every detail made our stay special. Highly recommended for a relaxing getaway! The location is convenient, with an amazing fish and chips shop, a great restaurant, and a small grocery store just around the corner for all your needs. Car is needed to get into Queenstown CBD.

While the breakfast was delicious, the pricing seemed over the top—an à la carte option would feel more transparent and reasonable.

The hotel views were exceptional. The reservation included breakfast each morning in their dining room which was super convenient and very tasty. The soak experience was great with gorgeous views overlooking Queenstown. Staff is super friendly and helpful. When I tried to book a dinner reservation on site myself, I wasn't able to find any available openings. But the hotel staff reached out and helped me make one because they prioritize guests who stay there. Overall, a wonderful experience and would definitely stay there again.

Loved the room and staff. We felt luxury and all the little details were great. The cheese platter on arrival was def worth it. Great reception and communal area, very private. I actually liked the construction site as that’s my line of work. We were blessed with great weather which added to the great stay

Didn’t get breakfast because we thought it was too expensive for the options we would pick and couldn’t get lunch as it wasn’t available. I’d say parking was limited. If we were not lucky with a car spot I’m not sure what we would have done.

Great location, amazing views, great restaurant, hot soak was included for free

We paid over a thousand dollars a night for a lake view room however we were put in the very end room that was at the top of the staircase and next to the lift. There wasn’t even a room underneath us, it was toilets. All of this combined made the room extremely noisy and there probably shouldn’t even be a room in this location at all or it should at least be cheaper than the other lake view rooms. There was a huge gap under the door that we had to cover with a towel to block some of the noise coming up from the restaurant and reception. When we spoke to staff all they could offer us was a downgrade so that was super disappointing. Nevertheless, the room will still nice inside. The noise was just annoying for the price.
