Literally a hop & a skip away from central Queenstown but located just ideally enough for a peaceful luxury retreat! And did I mention the spectacular priceless view?! Breath-taking!!!!! We recently stayed at Platinum Apartments in Queenstown and couldn’t have chosen a better place for our trip. The apartment was modern, spacious, and beautifully designed, offering everything we needed for a comfortable and luxurious stay. One of the biggest highlights was the breathtaking view of Lake Wakatipu and the surrounding mountains. We used the apartment for our pre-wedding photos, and the stunning backdrop made for some truly magical shots. The location was perfect—just a short distance from the town center, yet peaceful and private. The staff were incredibly helpful, ensuring our stay was seamless. With great amenities like a fully equipped kitchen, laundry facilities, and secure parking, it was the perfect place to relax and prepare for our big day. I highly recommend Platinum Apartments, whether for a romantic getaway, a special occasion, or simply to soak in the incredible views. We’ll definitely be back!

Incredible views, very well maintained villa with great facilities and friendly staff. A great place to relax, and we were able to cook most days!

The beds were too soft for our liking (especially in the master bedrooms) and it gave us back pain. We had to sleep on the floor for a couple of nights. Also couldn’t open the windows at night cos all the bugs would swarm in (we learned the hard way) and in warmer nights it was pretty stuffy, I was struggling to sleep. It was a lot more comfortable when the temperature went down. A fly screen would solve this problem. Location was a little bit out of town which would be fine if you’re all fit and can walk far, but we were travelling with a few seniors and we had to drive back and forth (and parking was difficult in town).

Spacious and clean villa, the views, even from Alpine side were great. Facilities were excellent, full kitchen, ample parking, linen and robes of excellent quality. Staff were amazing, so accomodating of our family and included high chair, cot, stair gate. They also received and unpacked our grocery delivery and dropped our lost luggage to the door. Email responses were so quick and detailed - they went above and beyond. Thank you for a wonderful stay.

For us the beds were just too soft and we didn’t have comfortable sleeps. If you are used to a firm mattress bare this in mind. The kitchen lacked a drying rack for dishes, while there was dishwasher there were some items which didn’t hand washing and there was nowhere to put them when dry. Only 5 coffee pods were included and there was a note to say they were $1 each for additional at reception - we felt this was a little cheap considering the cost for the accommodation. The TV in the master didn’t work however I will note we didn’t mention this to the staff at the time as we didn’t really need it, I’m sure they would have fixed it if we did! While the view from the Alpine side was great, if we booked again I would pick Lake View as that was incredible.

This independent house was an ideal getaway for our group of 5 people, offering stunning, unobstructed lake views and direct access to the lake from the property. The modern facilities, including a well-equipped kitchen and spacious living room, made our stay comfortable and enjoyable. The quiet surroundings were perfect for relaxation, while the convenience of being just a 5-minute drive from the town center added to the appeal. The house was clean, well-maintained, and had everything we needed for a seamless stay. Whether lounging by the lake or exploring the town, this property provided the best of both worlds.

Loved the location with the alpine trees and the mountains as a back drop. Very peaceful with birds always chirping in the treetops...Love the style of the Villa...beautiful! Fireplace is lovely and the coffee machine is a bonus! Very clean and the beds are comfy! The bathroom and bathtub are very nice. Loved the scenic walk into the township.

On warm nights there are no ceiling fans or airconditioning. Can't leave the windows or doors open as there are no screens and the bugs and mosquitos come into the room. There are small portable fans but they are very noisy.

It’s clean and modern with space for family/friends to relax and enjoy the peace and quiet. We were impressed with the fully equipped kitchen and the cleanliness. The apartment has a laundry which is handy for longer stays. The gas fire is ambient and the lounge is comfortable. It has a Nespresso machine and tea and milk on arrival. It really was a lovely apartment.

The bush view apartments back onto a reserve that has a waterfall which is quite loud. We loved it but others may find the noise a bit too much, especially after a heavy rain. It sounds like an aircon unit outside your bedroom. It didn’t bother us at all.

The location is excellent, 1n easy 15 minute walk to Queenstown. The villa was very clean, and the reception staff were excellent. Any request was dealt with professionally and swiftly. The villa is quite spacious and is self contained. There is parking outside or in the single garage allocated to the villa.

I had booked an Alpine View room rather than a Lake View room. The aspect from the Alpine View room is nice, however the aspect of the Villas facing the lake is stunning. Be careful when booking the room as the Booking.com website can be misleading with the images. The villa is serviced every fourth day, however it is insufficiently stocked with bathroom accessories, like soap and toilet paper for four days. Reception staff were very obliging; however, the experience would have been better with additional items readily available in the villa to last the four days.

Apartments are beautifully presented, fabulous fire place, and comfortable beds. Heated flooring and heating throughout. The kitchen has everything you need. Clean and tidy. Tennis courts are a hit with the kids. Our view was lovely, we were towards an end this year so not as good as the middle apartments we have had in previous years, but still lovely to see the lake and snow capped mountains out of every window. This is our 7th visit so we obviously think it is well worth it.

Close to the road so the road noise woke me some mornings but this isn’t fault to the owners. A little out of town however it’s an easy walk.

We honestly loved everything about this property. We are a family of 5 and we didn’t have a hire car, so when I booked this property the only thing I was worried about was that it wasn’t directly in town. When we arrived and saw that the bus stop was straight outside, all my worries went away! The bus was so convenient, it came every 15 minutes and the trips were cheap with the Bee Card (easy enough to buy at the airport or in town). I loved how everything about the property just felt easy and convenient. They had large umbrellas at the door for us to use (it was a very rainy week), the kitchen was well equipped and a washing machine and dryer which I used almost every day. It felt warm and homely, with lots of heating including a gas fire place, underfloor heating in the bathrooms and heated towel rails. I also loved how much space we had in the entire villa, with a family of 5 and all our luggage we didn’t want to feel cramped. The place was nice and clean and modern. The whole family loved it and we were honestly really sad to leave! If we ever return to Queenstown we will definitely rebook here.
