Really nice place to stay. The beds were really comfy. Heaters in the room ket it warm and extra blankets for when it was super cold. Big kitchen spaces with everything you need Good location, 10 minute walk to town. The staff were so amazing - We were upgraded for free, they helped us feel comfortable when there was an incident with another guest and they looked after my little teddy til I could collect it when I left it there. All while being so friendly and caring.

The shared bathrooms are communal for your particular room unit, example: 3-5 bedrooms per unit with one bathroom with stalls for toilets and showers. This means they are unisex Myself and my partner (both female) had a very uncomfortable and upsetting situation with a male guest who harassed us in the shared bathrooms. So if you are worried about sharing a bathroom with men do not stay here because you cannot avoid it just in case. Thankfully the staff were very understanding and moved us to a different room straight away. However we will now not stay anywhere with unisex showers as we have been made scared something will happen again.

The staff were incredible here! Mami and Moon specifically went above and beyond to help us several times and went out of their way to alert us of a cancelation so we could stay an extra night. I didn’t see a single staff member who wasn’t friendly or kind. The way the rooms are arranged in little individual houses meant we only had to share a well equipped kitchen and row of bathrooms and showers with 5 other rooms. The common areas were plentiful with quiet options both inside and out. Specific shelves in the fridge and kitchen cabinets are dedicated to your room for your food items as well. This was the quietest place we stayed in NZ, mainly because there’s no 2nd floor so we weren’t disturbed by other guest above, and because the common areas are kept apart from bedrooms. It’s just a 10-12 min walk to town with plentiful restaurants and the same distance in the other direction to a grocery store. Wi-Fi was also the best we’ve had in all of NZ. This place definitely exceeds the ratings we saw on here!

The beds aren’t great (I could feel the springs digging into me below), but with 2 extra duvets under me, it was fine). Though housekeeping seems to come through a few times a day, it doesn’t look like the bathroom was ever mopped and could use a deep clean. Shower heads were at my height (and i’m only 5’ 3”), so I imagine it’s less comfy for anyone taller.

Merwin and Camilla went above and beyond to assist us. The manager bought an alarm clock for us to use as we had to wake up very early and don't have a cell phone. This gets them extra points. The area was quiet. There is a big kitchen shared between 6 rooms on each floor (unit U).

As we travel by bus it was a little far from the bus stop. The hallways and balcony should use some sweeping. The doors are very heavy and make a bang when they close. One night we woke up many times due to people leaving their rooms early. We could also hear the people next door.

We had two rooms. The unit/apartment was nice, tidy and clean and had a decent sized kitchen. Great location as it was only a 10min walk down to the Queenstown lakefront.

A frustration that many people shared was the lack of parking around the complex. Parking wasn’t assigned and was on a first come first served basis. This led to other people parking in your area (next to your unit) resulting in no parking being available for yourself. The New Year period exasperated the situation with so many people staying at the complex and surrounding accommodation providers.

The location is walking distance to the town centre and the view is stunni

There is no cafeteria.but the common kitchen is good for cooking your food. The room size is too small for 3 occupants. I travelled with my 2 adult kids. The TV remote is not working. There is no info on How to operate it I booked the room for 3 pp but provided amenities for 2 only. 2 cups, 2 teaspoon, 2 towels, I ended up getting the 3rd set from reception every time we needed one. The cleaners do not refill the hand soap

The staff was super helpful during all our stay. The location is great, not exactly in the centre, so peaceful and quiet. The lodge has everything necessary, the kitchen, the fridge, the microwave etc. Beds very comfy and room itself was cozy and warm . WiFi was working as it should, no problem there

We didn't have any drawers or shelves in the room, so no space to put our stuff really. Was just piling on top of our suitcases. There were heaps of moths and mozzies every night inside, not sure if anything can be done with them

Cabin was spacious with a beautiful view from the outdoor area. Unit was very tidy and orderly with allocated shelves in the fridge and cupboard for the respective rooms. This saves us the trouble of having to put food labels on our food. Bedsheets were clean and crisp. The toilets are right outside the room, making it convenient for the night trips. The lounge in each of the units is very comfortable.

The laundry room was dirty, machines look worn and overall could do with a bit of cleaning. Parking was not sufficient for the units and we had to park further away.

It could be easier a higher rating, because it is a quiet place to stay but still next to centre of Queenstown and the bathroom was fine. Staff were friendly.

But what is hard to except when paying like 300NZD a night was the furniture. Couch with a big cut hidden by a pillow, hub which looks pretty used, chairs on the outside area which almost fall apart when trying to sit on them. (Seems like they already trying to replace their old furniture, because we had new chairs outside when we came back to the accommodation the last evening)

A godsend to have dedicated parking spaces and the little one bedroom house units are really cute and nicely laid out so that they don’t overlook one another too much. The bed was comfy and it felt thoughtfully laid out.

The bathroom sink was teeny and had a cabinet over it so we used the kitchen sink to clean our teeth as it was nearly impossible in the bathroom! This didn’t bother us though. There was also a rather unpleasant smell coming from the bathroom that suggests something was wrong with the drains, I couldn’t say if this was just in our unit or all.

Very nice cabins, well furnished, a short walk into town. Close by to the kiwi experience and you can hear the native birds of New Zealand which is lovely if you listen hard . A bus stop at the end of the road and parking available .

We did swap cabins as we initial one was one of two cabins that looked out onto someone’s back yard which wasn’t so good . ( 12 , and13 ) The staff were excellent in rearranging our accommodation when a vacancy to change came up .
