The location is amazing, steps away from Queenstown CBD and the waterfront, walking distance to bus stops, supermarket, and start of several hiking trails. I stayed in an 8-bed dorm (queen pod) and the bed was quite comfy! The kitchen was well-equipped and had lots of storage space for dry food and several fridges as well.

The doors leading to and from the dorm room were extremely heavy and are impossible to close quietly. Every time someone entered or exited the room, you knew about it. I stayed in an 8-bed dorm, 4 lockers were located inside the room (beds A-D) and 4 lockers were located outside the room (beds E-H) which meant the door was constantly being opened or closed as people went between the beds and the lockers. The en-suite bathroom had a light that was on a (very short) timer and the light would go off quite a bit, not the end of the world but annoying when you’re trying to brush your teeth or sitting on the toilet.

I really like the room that I booked, it is very comfortable even it is for sharing. I still have privacy even if I have other roommates. The staff is really accommodating and explains thoroughly the property ameneties. The place is located in the quiet side of the city and I can sleep well. It is just a few minute walk to the city centre and very accessible. The common area such as lobby and kitchen is pretty nice and there are a lot of toilets/showers. The locker storage is huge and even the biggest size luggage can fit into it. Overall, I enjoyed staying in this place. I would definitely recommend this property if you are looking for a reasonable price in Queenstown.

Sometimes, the toilet/shower is a bit messy in our floor but still manageable since it is a common area (the one that I booked).

Gorgeous staff, men and women. They're really cool. Young and vibrant and one of the most accommodating front desk personnel I've met. I forgot their names tho coz I'm in my 50s lol. Recommend for big groups of 4 or 5 so you can take the whole 5 bedroom pod. There's a kitchenette and a balcony where you can chill and you don't have to worry about bothering someone when cook or making too much noise.

It's a shared room so it is expected that there will be noise. The 4 BR Pod comes with a kitchenette so when people cook, expect that there are certain food that have distinctive smell. It's not like waking up to the smell of fresh brewed coffee.

I though I swore off hostels, but staying in the pod was an amazing experience. It was mostly older and/or relaxed people staying in the pods, so I was able to get my rest. It was nice to still get the hostel experience in the sense of meeting interesting strangers and then when I was ready to sleep i could just put in my earplugs and isolate myself in the queen size pod. The room I stayed in had 4 pods, we had a shared kitchen. there were a couple of toilets and bathrooms in the hallway that was shared with other pod rooms, and they were kept very clean. Downstairs was a bigger shared kitchen that was very complete. did most of my cooking downstairs, but it was nice to have a simple kitchen in the room to just make a sandwich or coffee.

The hostel was located near the bus hub of Queenstown, so it's very convenient if you're travelling by bus or by plane since the airport bus stops very close by. The city center is not that close though, but it's still reachable comfortably on foot. The staff was lovely and helpful, and they maintained the place very well. The pod itself was spacious, and there was ample of space to put my smaller personal space inside the pod that didn't take up bed space. The kitchen was very well equipped, including a boiling water tap, and maintained clean, including a stash of towels that were kept renewed. The lounge also felt quite cozy.

While the pod was spacious, the room could be a bit too narrow, even for 4 people occupany. There was no elevator (at least that I knew of) and to reach the door there were multiple steps, so it's definitely not recommended to travel on a large suitcase to this hostel. The key to my door could be rather tricky to operate, so I was also quite wary of disturbing my neighbors in the night time. Also I think there should be more hanging hooks/spots, because while I appreciate the current ones, it was difficult to hang towels and jackets at the same time.

The accommodation is conveniently located, accessible by public transport (bus), and within walking distance to supermarkets, outdoor equipment stores, restaurants, and lakeside walking attractions. The bunk beds in the backpacker room are sturdy, with curtains for privacy. The bedside lamp and USB sockets are very thoughtful and convenient. The staff are friendly and kind, the common areas are comfortable and well-equipped. During breakfast, someone (presumably a staff member) even provided free cherries, lovely! :)

The accommodation only has stairs, which can be challenging for travelers with large luggage. However, the staff were very considerate, asking if I needed help and assisting with my bags. I'm very grateful!

Location is perfect, so close to everything! Staff were amazing, I got a little lost due to road works and the girl who I phoned was so helpful. Also the Welsh fella (whose name I don't know sorry) is the friendliest, most helpful man ever! All staff were so accommodating and lovely. Was probably the most comfortable bed I've slept in for a while, and the pod was very spacious, with a decent amount of storage.

There isn't really much not to like, the kitchen floor got a little sticky towards the end of the day, but this was cleaned and grand. It was overall a great hostel to stay in

I loved this hostel. Great patio, excellent clean kitchen, easily accessible bathrooms & showers. Great wifi and location close to all the things you need/want.

I didn't like the fire alarm going off at 4am and having to go outside and stand around but at least it wasn't cold or raining. Not much you can really do in that situation but maybe some feedback from staff about what to expect / what was going on would've been nice considering the hour. No one knew anything and no one said anything or spoke up. It was a bit weird.

-Immaculately cleaned every day. -Steaming hot, super clean showers with ‘power-washer’ water pressure. -Super friendly staff -Awesome location -COMFY beds, and solid structures…no swaying in a metal bunk bed every time your bunk mate turns over. -great kitchen, several fridge/freezers and pantry storage space, plenty of cooking utensils -awesome chill out lounge with great views and a terrace. -on-site laundry LSS: very much worth the money. Just be careful on the indoor stairs if they’ve recently been mopped💀😂

Amazing location, the friendliest staff ever and so helpful. Easy to get to grips with the way things work, coming as a first time hosteller! Clean and tidy, cleaned every day. Welcoming environment, great staff recommendations and more than happy to help. If you need it :)

The first step going up to rooms 1-4 is steeper than the others which took some getting used to, maybe a warning there would be useful for older travellers? Didn’t impact my stay much at all. Would definitely stay again :)
