My partner and I recently spent five nights at Hulbert House, and we cannot praise it highly enough. From the moment we arrived, the service and hospitality were outstanding. The attention to detail was impeccable, with every aspect of our stay thoughtfully curated. The staff were super friendly and made us feel truly welcome. The rooms are stunning, beautiful finishings, we had a tour of the other rooms and every single room was gorgeous! Breakfast each morning was perfect, with a variety of delicious options, and the personal touch of offering to drive us into town whenever we needed, was much appreciated. You can tell the staff here love their jobs, they were genuinely amazing with every single attention to detail. Hulbert House didn’t just feel like a hotel; it felt like home. This was honestly the best hotel experience we've ever had, and we can’t wait to return.

My husband and I celebrated our 25th wedding anniversary here and it was absolutely perfect. They have thought of absolutely everything. Loved the afternoon canapes and wine, 10 out of 10. Exceptional! The house itself has been restored to perfection down to the minute details. The staff go above and beyond and you can chat as much as you like with them or enjoy the quiet time too. Breakfast was also a standout.

The view could not have been more spectacular from our room. The staff were more like friends from the moment we arrived. Breakfast was exceptional and we can’t wait to come back, which we will do as soon as possible. The staff were amazing and super lovely. They went out of their way to make my stay as easy and comfortable as possible. The building itself and the rooms are just superb and so comfortable. I basically didn't want to leave but sadly had to go back to work. It's a great place to just unwind with easy access to Queenstown when you want to venture out and all adventure activities. I'll definitely be back soon!!

This is a sublime boutique BnB. Really exceptional. It's the kind of small hotel I am always looking for and rarely find. First, the location is perfect, you can walk to everything in Queenstown. There is ample parking. Next, there is the decor. It is absolutely stunning. Vibrant, quirky, lush. Then there is the pampering. The staff turn into friends immediately, and they will do everything in their power to make your stay memorable and perfect. Breakfast is divine, but there are also treats in the midday, followed by wine and canapés after 5. Also, I'm celiac and they went above and beyond to ensure I had my own gluten free treats, they even bought a new toaster just for me to prevent cross contamination! I can't applaud them enough, we stayed 4 nights and my wife just about cried when we left. This is true luxury.

We had an incredible stay at Hulbert House! The staff was amazing, greeting us with wine at arrival and helping with any questions we had throughout our stay. Wonderful location, with a gorgeous view of the mountains and an easy walk to dinner each night. Would highly recommend to anyone looking for a relaxing getaway in Queenstown!

It was a wonderful stay from the moment you arrive and Jay gives you a big New Zealand welcome. It does not feel like a Hotel stay it feels more personal than that. The house is immaculate and totally unique in its decor. If your staying in Queenstown this is the place to stay.

Stayed in one of the second floor rooms, really liked the room and view, staff were very kind and accommodating, would definitely stay there again if in Queenstown

It’s on a bit of a hill for those walking back from town but that’s also why it has a good view so can’t complain too much about it

The place is so beautiful with a team of excellent people. The decoration of the property has demonstrated very good taste, the breakfast, pre-dinner canapes and refreshments, chocolate brownies and slices are too good. The room services pay extra attention to details. The location is perfect with a short walking distance to the town.

The first impression was of outstanding hospitality from Jay and Jade and Charley. We arrived late - in the rain - a bit worn out, but they took care of everything,. They changed our booking with th restaurant; parked the car so that we could go straight into town for dinner and all with super warm smiles. They are very lovely hosts (thanks guys). The villa itself is decorated in an amazingly flamboyant style. It's fantastically comfortable - we slept very soundly. Superbly well located just a short walk from the centre of Queenstown. Breakfasts are great. Absolutely super place.
