We really liked the size of the room, and other facilities like kitchen and sauna, but what really stood out is the location of this hostel, it is very accessible to public transport, near shops and restaurants. We did not rent a car during our trip and we did not even ride any Uber at all because the location is very close to Bus stop. Overall our stay was pleasant and we would still come back.

We stayed for 10 days and we have requested for a room cleaning couple of times, of course we were expecting the room to be vacuumed however they only made the bed, cleaned the toilet and bathroom, but thankfully they provided us new towels whenever we requested for room cleaning. The dirt on the floor remained until we left on the 10th day, it would be best if vacuuming was part of their room cleaning.

Spacious rooms and comfy beds. The location is very good. A lot of common areas and events in the hostel. Staff members are nice and friendly. The kitchen and bathroom are cleaned throughout the day.

I'd like the kitchen to be open 24/7 especially when there are a lot of long terms who might be working weird hours. Also, the lockers/shelves in the rooms are very small. Terribly cold around the stairs (probably it's coming from the outside). Also, they say there is a bbq every Wednesday but it didn't happen twice while I was there. :( this list might seem long but the hostel is good and I wouldn't mind coming back if needed.

Excellent location with easy access to shops, transport etc. Rooms were a great size and had enough space for storage. Bathroom was good; having the toilet and shower as separate en-suite rooms is helpful for a dorm room. Information centre in the lobby is useful for booking a good variety of tours and activities. Staff were really helpful and cheerful. Kitchen area was well equipped and good communal spaces. Liked the fact it was a dry hostel without alcohol. I would definitely stay here again!

Some of the rooms are facing a bar which gets very noisy some nights of the week- however, we were warned of this beforehand with the possibility of swapping rooms if it was going to be a problem. The space to lock belongings away is a little on the small side.

Amazing location and super friendly and helpful staff. Room served its full purpose. I was in a private double room with a balcony and it was great. Shower was really good also. Always hot water no matter what time. In the weeks prior to our booking our emailed staff confirming it was 2 single beds etc… I always had a reply within a couple of hours which was great service.

Rooms were a little smaller than i thought they looked in the picture, however I got used to the size quick enough. Sometimes corridors were a bit dirty, but it’s fine because our room was really clean.

Had a fab time staying at Nomads Queenstown. As a solo traveller, I was looking for somewhere social, and this place absolutely pulled through. Within hours of checking in, I had already made friends and was planning day trips with them. One of the highlights was the weekly hike up Queenstown Hill organised by the staff. James Reeve led it and he was fabulous, super friendly, chill and knew lots of fun facts about the area! Was beautiful too! The kitchen and common room is the place to be, very comfy and busy! Yasmin at the front desk was super helpful too, every time I thought it was time to move on, I was convinced by someone to stay another night, Yasmin was great with extending. Whether you’re stopping by for a couple of nights or staying longer, Nomads Queenstown is a great choice. I’d absolutely recommend it x

Nomads Hotel is in a brilliant location for Queenstown, which is an amazing place to visit. Staff were all really helpful, friendly and happy to advise on activities, bars and restaurant. Although a hostel - we stayed in a private room with an ensuite shower / toilet - as probably the oldest couple staying there (50's) - and so a bit more of a budget than younger back packers. Kitchen facilities for those that were using them looked great, as did the communal lounge area. Regular messages about organised trips - so would be great for solo travellers wanting to meet others. Made me wish I was younger and found this place years ago. I would highly recommend - as choice of rooms to suit all types of travel budget, great staff and amazing place to visit.

Only thing I didn't like - was not having longer in Queenstown - amazing place.

It's right in the middle of everything, and everything is clean and nice. The staff are lovely and helpful.

This is 100% on me- they do tell you in the description, but just to reiterate - the window view rooms back right on to bars and clubs. On Saturday night it sounded like a full rave right next to our room. I really enjoyed the views during the day, but I probably should have booked an internal room, at least for the Saturday night. Again - that's not a problem Nomads, they are up front about it, just sharing my realisation.

Positive: The room was bigger than expected and very clean. Very quite, bed was comfortable, staffs were superb. The key app was new to me and I liked the experience of not needing to have a key with me.

Exhaust fan is too loud, and we can't turn it off, however, when the bathroom door was closed, the noisy wasn't that bad. The window has a decent size but couldn't be open, so the air does not circulate much. And is a bit strange to have to request the staff to turn on /off the AC. We had no problem with the requests, but it feels like we are being controlled.

Whilst it was loud from the neighbouring bars until early in the morning, it was a nice touch that they left earplugs, which worked marvellously. Also, they are transparent in their description of the room and advise, for those who prefer quieter times, that they book their rooms frim Remarkables side. The only disadvantage I may point out is the smell of the smoke coming from the chimneys of the nearby venues.

I really like the room that I’m staying in. It has a bathroom and a balcony. I can see the mountains from the balcony. I also like vibe auf the hostel. It’s very easy to meet new people. I do like the receptionists as well. It is a really great staff! I want to point out that Kim is really nice and helpful too.

There is nothing in particular I don’t like about the hostel. If I would need to go for for something I would say the people snoring in the room. But it’s the case if you’re in a hostel.
