The room was lovely. Spacious, good bed, comfortable and clean. Cute little balcony, big kitchenette and a little dining table in case you opt for takeaway or a midnight snack. 3 min walking from the center of Queenstown so location was wonderful. The staff was lovely and accommodating. Had everything we needed. Would definitely stay again.

The stairs to the room if you’re on the main floor is a bit of a killer if you have suitcases, so be warned that you’ll have to schlep your stuff up a flight of stairs. The hotel is on a bit of a hill and the carpark is a bit tight and limited on space, but there’s ample parking around it so don’t get stressed if you can’t get a spot inside the parking area. Reception is on the upper floor. Once you get your bearings though it’s actually a very cute place to stay.

we were in Queenstown for 3 days and accommodation was not in the Central downtown area it was less than 5 minute walk to the main shopping area and lake side.

cooking equipment needs to be checked (anywhere regularly) that its useable. Parking under the accommodation needs to be navigated with care.

Very conveniently located to the heart of Queenstown but still peaceful; a few minutes' walk to downtown and across the road from the lovely public gardens. Deluxe twin was a basic room but spacious and clean (including the bathroom which also had a heated floor; nice touch) and we stayed in this same room on two separate nights within the week. Small useable balcony was also lovely to have. Handy to be able to leave luggage for later pickup. Dislikes: more about our neighbouring room guests than the accommodation perhaps, but better sound-proofing may lessen disturbance when they decide to clomp around and use hairdryers etc at a time when most people are turning in for the night.

Great spacious room & ensuite with a kitchen, tv and balcony . Comfy king size bed, small dining table, single lounge chair & desk. Quiet at night. Location is perfect right opposite the Queenstown gardens and only a short 5 minute walk into town, down Hotops Rise walkway. Staff were excellent and I could borrow extra utensils, kitchen items from the shared kitchen e.g. egg cups and a bread knife. Laundry facilities were only $2 for a wash or dry. We paid the extra for daily servicing of the room, but you can opt out to save money.

Occassionally some noise from the adjoining room that was only separated by a locked door, but nothing that kept us awake. Two suitcase stands, instead of one and an extra light under the microwave would be great. More advertising of the shared kitchen space, as I was not aware this was an option.

We stayed at the Coronation Lodge 3 times. The lodge is situated a little outside of the downtown area, easy to get to but quiet. We first stayed or a week in the unserviced apartment, which was great. Nice sized bedroom, large living area, kitchen where we cooked a few times, little balcony. When we came back through Queenstown before hiking the Routeburn Track we stayed for one night before we left and one night when we returned from the hike, both times in regular rooms which were also very comfortable. They held our extra luggage in the interim which was very helpful.

If you have a car there isn't guaranteed parking at the hotel. We never had a problem, and there is parking on the street.

The facility is overall good and worthy of the price. The location is so accessible from town centre with sufficient carpark, and the bathroom is nice and tiled. We were impressed with everything that comes with it considering its affordable price.

Noisy. Our room was connected to another room with a locked door separating it. We could hear the conversation from the other room until midnight. Though it’s not the hotel’s fault, it would be more appreciated if it would be soundproof at least. Our designated room was also positioned across an exit/entrance door after office hours so we could hear the door slamming and footsteps until the morning. Perhaps an automatic lock door with gentle shutting mechanism would help?

Best place to stay in Queenstown! The location is less than 5mins from the city centre an easy walking distance down to the lake, the staff are wonderful, very friendly and helpful. The property is the cleanest I’ve ever stayed in, in Queenstown. I was superrrr impressed with this as a lot of accommodation is run down and old due to so many tourists visiting but not here. Easy location for Ubers to pick you up from and for uber eats to drop off. Kid friendly! I will definitely be back to stay again next time I visit Queenstown!

Couldn’t fault anything!

Very comfortable room - spacious and very clean. Easy walk to central Queenstown.

No toilet facilities in foyer. We were waiting for a pick up from Central Otago Cycling at 2.30pm and had stayed at this hotel overnight. Out of our room by 10am and walked into the city centre for breakfast - then went up in the cable car. When we came back to wait for our pick up I was told there was no toilet I could use which I felt was a bit remiss as many guests would be in the same position

Small walk to the main town centre so great for the ski season. The room was clean and had all required amenities for a comfortable living with both AC and heater and real plus was the bathroom also had floor heaters. The staff were all very friendly and were approachable if there was something I needed. Microwave available for use if needed and can ask for milk for tea/coffee.

Location-wise it's at the top of a hill so there is lots of uphill walking going back and forth to the town centre. Additionally there's only stairs in the lodging so be prepared to carry all your stuff if you're on the 2nd floor. The walls are not too sound proof so can sometimes hear my neighbours moving around and hear people on the streets at 2am on a weekend.
