Excellent friendly staff in all areas of the hotel. Always smiling and happy to chat and be of assistance. We had an extra large room with views of the lake hot and cold Buffett breakfast available not a very large selection to choose from. Lovely hot shower in the morning with really good water pressure. A leisurely 15 minute downhill walk into the main town centre of Queenstown with all its amenities , which of course means uphill on the return trip. We stayed 4 nites and opted to save The Kiwi's by not having our room serviced. A big shout out to the gentleman who fixed the in room safe within minutes of our call for assistance. Highly recommend booking a slot in the indoor spa bath facility as well. Would definitely stay again. The restaurant also had special dinner nites such as pizza and a beer for $20. Also had happy hour on cocktails as well nightly. Extra comfy beds with lots of pillows.

I’m glad I asked if we could check in early and the lovely lady at the reception found a room for us but when I went to the room it’s not what I’ve booked - I’ve booked a lake view room. I then went back and asked if we could change the room with lake view and showed her the room I booked online (hoping I’ll get that room or similar) and thankfully the room was ready, moved us to the lake view room and she let us checked in early about 12:30pm with no fuss. Really appreciate that.

There was a funny smell on the room like old carpet or something like a toilet smell - I don’t know, a room shouldn’t smell like that. But I can see that they are doing a partial refurbishment on one of the block, I guess at some point all rooms will be refurbished.

View was lovely. Bed comfortable and spotless. Staff friendly and accommodating.

Gorgeous hotel. Our room was in the first block and had a ranchslider to the front lawn with a gorgeous view of the lake. Absolutely incredible. The most comfortable bed in the world. The tv had everything. The shower pressure was insane and so powerful! The staff were so helpful. We paid $15 to park on premise which is around the corner from the main entrance and has a gated entrance which you use your room key on. The car park is level 4 and then you catch a lift to level 5 (which is the reception level), then walk to the other lifts to catch it to level 3 to then walk down to level 2 for our unit in the first block. It is quite confusing but when you see the layout of the hotel it makes a lot of sense and is actually a highlight of the hotel for us with the halls being reminiscent of the Titanic, although I can see people being frustrated by it. So close to town and such an easy 5 minute walk to the main town. When we arrived to our room the beds were two single beds and the lovey gentleman who took our bags down for us asked reception if we were in the right room. We decided it didn’t matter since it was just for one night but when we came back from parking our car, housekeeping were just finishing making our singles into a king. They were so fast and so lovely and friendly.

The laundry was $4 for the wash and $4 for the dryer ($2 coins) which are great prices and standard. The issue was, when we washed our clothes both dryers were in use. When we returned after the washing had finished the dryers still had clothes in them even though their cycles were finished. This is not the hotel’s fault, rather we don’t know what the etiquette is. So we ended up taking it the other laundry room on level 4

We've been traveling all over for the past year and this was one of the nicer hotels we've stayed in at reasonable prices. The location was great; we walked into the downtown area every day. The views from large windows were wonderful. The room was good size. Beds were comfortable. The lounge and staff were very vice and friendly. They stored our luggage since we arrived way before check in time; when we arrived back from downtown, they had already put our luggage in the room. We highly recommend this hotel.

Our room was at the end of the building and the WIFI was slow; really needs to be upgraded. Mentioned it at checkout and they said they would look into it; it might need a booster of some sort.

Requested a room with lake view and the view was absolutely amazing with snowcapped mountain in the background. Room was warm, comfortable, and considerably clean despite very poor reviews from previous customers. Location was very close to town and the lake. Staff at reception were wonderful: kind and helpful.

With the price we paid, there could have been more complementary food or drink in the room. Only tea, coffee, and hot chocolate were provided. Mugs were not washed although room was cleaned after the first night. There also seemed to be confusion regarding checking out because the cleaners knocked on our door at 9am to ask when we were checking out although we were told that check-out time was 10am. The cleaners told us that in their system we had already left. This also explained why our wifi was cut since 8am that day. We were also told that our $50 deposit would be released after check-out but we have not received it so far. We will wait to see whether we get it back next week.

Arrived into Queenstown airport & decided a hotel with a lovely lake & mountain view was required. This hotel didn't dissapoint because the view from my room was amazing!!! Staff all nice & helpful & a lovely size room. Tv wasn't picking up a signal but a member of the team saved the day & I was able to watch the Australian grand prix from Melbourne & Live English Premier league on the TV. Thanks

Trying to navigate to the room & back to reception wasn't easy until did it a few times.

The view was amazing, we arrived a few hours before the booking in time, but they kindly let us go straight to our room. The staff in the restaurant/bar was so friendly and professional

we just need a direction to the town. we were given a map but being elderly needed someone to explain, the young receptionist got her manager who seemed to be pre occupied and quickly gave us unclear directions.

The view from the bedroom and balcony....just WOW! Even the layout of the suite.... I wish I had something like that for my own home! Very close to the Queenstown Gardens and shopping areas. If ever we get a chance to come here again, I will want to book the exact same room!!!

I suppose parking space is premium in certain places and not wanting to have the rental car damaged or stolen at night (parking in the side streets), we had to pay $15 a night for secure parking. Wishful thinking but buffet breakfast should be included, not having to pay extra for it. I'm a pig when it comes to food. Oink oink....

We chose a lake view room and it was a good decision. It's an amazing view! The room was large and the bed very comfortable. The property is a short walk from the centre of town so v well located. There is secure on site parking for a small daily fee.. a real benefit in busy Queenstown. The staff are really lovely people. Helpful and kind. We ate at the restaurant once and the food was good. There is a guest laundry .. helpful if you are making a longer road trip.

The facility isn't air conditioned. It was only an issue for one summer night for us but a fan was available and made the room temp perfectly ok. It cools down considerably at night in Queenstown.
