Our hosts, Isha and Shashank were the loveliest hosts I've ever had during my travels. Nothing was too much trouble, they were bright, friendly and their breakfasts were AWESOME. They were also a wealth of information regarding Queenstown and the surrounds and Shashank even predicted the daily weather well! :-) The bed was super comfortable too. The walk to town was lovely, especially around the lake if you prefer a slightly longer walk that way around. Thanks so much- would highly recommend.

Nothing to not like

The owner was very friendly & helpful. The bed was comfortable. It's a standard hotel room with fridge & beverage station for tea & coffee. Milk is provided. No AC in our room, but we had a fan & it was fine for our April visit. Nice little balcony around the rooms with various views of garden, mountain & lake. We liked the location: walking distance to Gardens & downtown, but out of the noise & traffic. QT has serious traffic & parking challenges, so this was perfect for us.

Be aware that your room may not face the lake like in the photo, but the balcony is continuous, so you can walk around for a view.

This property was very nice— good location and our stay was absolutely outstanding! It was outstanding for a reason. Our room was a corner that had a beautiful view, big sliding glass door and balcony, with super comfortable bed! However, what makes this accommodation is the Innkeeper, Deborah. Deborah is an absolute gem! She is what makes this property unbelievably special. She works tirelessly to do whatever she can to make her guest not only feel welcome but to help them with all their needs! I have no idea where she gets the energy to do it, but she did it every single day! We will never forget her! We traveled for 8 weeks all over Australia and New Zealand and she is the one person and experience I will never forget!!

We didn't stay for breakfast although it was available. The room was compact but all we needed. The bonus was the outside deck with seating provided where you could watch what was going on. We were met by the staff who were more than helpful. He carried our bags in and out from the car and upstairs. And was such a nice person. The room had good beds and linen and a lovely hot shower. It was spotlessly clean. A small library was on the landing. The town centre was a walk away or there is a local bus.

The scenic view around this Chalet is its main attraction. The snow clad mountains and the lake is visible from the room. Deborah is a great host. Attentive, made delicious breakfast for us. Good provision for tea/ coffee in the room Well appointed bathroom

The broadband connection was bad. Connection was very poor on first day. After Deborah reset the routers, still it was slow and not at all satisfactory. It is surprising that in today's time we suffer from slow internet. Request a proper resolution

We decided to spend a little less and this beautiful little accom far exceeded our expectations. The lady on reception was lovely and made us feel welcome and at home, the room was super cosy with a beautiful view of the lake and were cleaned so well every day. It’s also got free parking for our hire car (big bonus as parking in Queenstown is terrible) and just a short stroll into town Into town. Loved our stay here and would definitely stay again!

Really nice room. Deck with a lovely view of Lake Wakatipu and the mountains around Queenstown. Quick-ish 10 min walk into town (although uphill on the way back). Overall a really pleasant stay. I didn't try the breakfast because I brought some but it looked / sounded yummy. WiFi was good as well and had a tiny desk for some work which was helpful

Great location, close to city centre (short 7 min walk), very cozy and super clean. The hosts were also adorable and went above and beyond to accommodate our needs. We would leave every morning at 7 to hit the mountains and they made sure to leave us some cold breakkie ready to go. On our last day we managed to have breakfast during normal service hours (between 8 and 9:30) before heading to the airport, and dare I say that the eggs Bene with bacon were simply amazing.

I guess my only constructive feedback would be to buy new TVs for the rooms. Not that we have watched any TV during out stay (we would leave super early and simply get back to crash and sleep), however some newer smart TVs would be nice to have just in case (and would not require huge investment). But again, this does not affect at all our experience with them.

The business owners are fabulous. Helpful and keen to make our stay ad good as he could. Comfortable sizable bed Small balcony for our private use. Nice place to sit. Really enjoyed our big breakfast.

The shower is very low pressure. Not great for washing hair etc. May be improved by putting a fine low pressure shower rose on

Great location in Queenstown. Staff were not only responsive to requests but always remembered your tea/coffee and breakfast preferences. Views of the Remarkables and Lake Wakatipu from the balcony were an lovely bonus ❤️❤️

Shower was on the small size if you’re over 6ft.
