This was a lovely stay in Queenstown. The accommodation was around 10 mins downhill into the centre of town and two fantastic breakfast restaurants which are Odd Saint and Yonder. The views from outside the apartment were great and the access to laundry facilities were very handy. You can walk to Queenstown Hill and Bob's Peak straight from the apartment. The apartment itself was cosy and quiet at night and we had some very good nights sleep here. We would definitely choose this accommodation again when we next visit Queenstown.

Large, spacious apartment with everything you need for a short or longer stay. We were there for 4 nights. The small kitchenette was perfect for breakfasts and light lunches. The bed was very comfortable and there was a lot of storage space for clothes. They have a coin-operated washer and dryer in the garage. Free covered parking! Great location too within a 10 to 15 minute walk of the center by the lakeshore and with great views of Lake Wakapitu. Also, 20 minutes walk to Queenstown Hill if you want to go for a hike. Keep in mind that Queenstown is hilly so, wherever you go you have to do some climbing.

The water temperature in the shower fluctuated a bit.

Queenstown has chilly weather almost all the time. However, our Alexis Motel room had an excellent heating system. Besides, they have washing and drying machines that really helped since we were in the middle of our trip. And the use was cheaper than in the laundromats of the town! The apartment had large divisions, and the bathroom had a good exhaustion system. You can easily walk to downtown Queenstown. There are lots of electric outlets and even USB connections to directly charge cell phones. There are actually a few close places where you can have breakfast, lunch, and dinner.

The shower jet could be better and with more push, although the temperature was easy to control. The bathroom had no hygienic dush. Our apartment was only accessible through stairs, which made luggage transportation a bit difficult. Although the living room is large, the number of furniture pieces crowded the space. I know that New Zealand is a safe country, and nothing really happens in Queenstown, but the room seems a bit exposed.

This motel is of a high standard and in walking distance of central Queenstown - it is also on the exit road so easy to access and to leave from. You can park you car in a covered garage and leave it while you walk around Queenstown. Very friendly staff - focussed on customer service. Good onsite Laundry. Good Wi-Fi. Very comfortable beds and room - spacious and well equipped. Spa bath/large shower. Easy access to restaurants as well as outdoor patios or in room tables for self catering..

Nothing really - suggest do not disturb sign to stop daily servicing and being more clear to other guest to park properly so all spaces can be used.

The apartment we had was clean, spacious and had a self contained kitchenette that was very useful for simple meal preparation. The location to Queenstown CBD was exceptional. We were able to walk into town easily and a bus stop was also easily accessible.

Small thing, and only a thing because other places we stayed at included it, but TV options ( eg Netflix) , you needed to use your own account. Having said that, we were so busy, that it was only when we were having some down time, that this would have been nice to have included.

The view from our room is amazingly beautiful. There is a daily housekeeping services included. You wake up and have a nice hot coffee or chocolate outside your room is a perfect relaxation moment for me. The location of the place is perfect. Less than 5mins driving or 15mins walking to the town centre of Queenstown and to the airport. The location is very accessible.

The only thing my partner and I didn't like was during our stay at the place, there were roadworks right in front of it. Other than that, the location, room and view is beautiful. When it is full the car park is a bit small.

We had booked the 2 bedroom apartment for family of 6 and the room/bathroom downstairs was perfect for my aging parents while kids enjoyed the spacious room upstairs with us. Rooms and bathroom were clean, comfortable and warm. Lake view was great too.

Roadwork on the main road made it difficult to locate the access to the property when we were checking in late in the night and we stayed at the same time when night work was on but this is not really property’s fault. They did inform about the night work hours and noise etc multiple times ahead of the time.

The room had exceptional views. Just spectacular views over the lake with the mountains in the background. We were able to walk to the wharf and restaurants and the location to catch the bus for Milton Sound. The room was very clean, the kitchen easy to work in with the crockery and cutlery in good condition. The table and chairs on the verandah were clean and comfortable and enabled us to relax outside and take in a bit more of the gorgeous views. There is ample car parks under the accommodation. All in all, our stay was very comfortable and the view impressive.

Undercover access to the parking would have been helpful when it was raining.

The view of the Remarkables mountains, Lake Wakatipu and Queenstown was incredible from our apartment. The room was spacious and the bed was large and comfortable It was a short 15 minute walk downhill into town or a little longer way took you around the stunning waterfront and Gardens.

It was no fault of the motel but there was roadworks right outside so it was impossible to sit on our balcony and enjoy a coffee and the incredible view without the pounding of jackhammers and noise if machinery

We really enjoyed our stay at the Alexis Motel. It is ideally placed just outside the town centre with an option of a 10-15 minute walk along the main road to reach the centre, or a longer but more enjoyable walk along the lake front and through the Queenstown Gardens. Our room had a view of the lake with a small terrace on which each room had a small table and chairs. The room was very well presented, roomy and comfortable and the underground parking a bonus. An onsite 'DIY' laundry proved useful. I would definitely stay there again.

Although a temporary issue, there are overnight road works going on just in front of the motel. It's clearly not the fault of the motel but one night in particular was quite noisy. It was a shame but we still enjoyed our stay and wouldn't hesitate to stay there again.
