We really enjoyed the beautiful view everyday observing the lake the location is a huge plus! Highly recommend this stay super peaceful. Was somewhat private, was clean, and was a large room for everything you basically need.

We did have our water cut off for a few hours due to roadwork issues, was a little frustrating as we couldn’t have a shower in the morning or have water to drink not necessarily you fault but provided with a bottle of water would of been a really nice touch. Also the spa bath may need some repairs one didn’t work and the others pressure wasn’t great. Also the heating was really hard to utilise it was so hot sometimes that we had to open the door at night and it’s in the middle of winter? Maybe some help to figure it out or advice would be appreciated.

We loved the location right on the lakefront and it was lovely to wake up and have a cup of coffee and watch the ducks and swans in the lake. When checking in the manager was very kind and helpful. We enjoyed having walks each morning to coffee spots. Right next door you can have coffee at Lane Cove or breakfast or lunch. And in the opposite direction a short walk to 2mile bay sailing club you can also enjoy some food and coffee. The property has a heated pool and our room had a kitchen and Nespresso coffee machine. The rooms have underfloor heating so are nice and cozy temperatures.

Can’t think of anything

We stayed in one of the bottom rooms. Was spacious, cozy, warm, there was a washer and dryer if you needed to use across from us. We used this service and it was $5 (great value) and also meant less washing when we got home 😆 they supplied us with complimentary milk and it was decent size (hate the little pots that some places give you). Reception was friendly and super helpful. our children loved waking up right outside the lake and they also loooved the spa bath. Couldn’t fault our stay💛 we will be back again for sure.

Couldn’t fault it although the parking was a bit tight but that’s ok, each night we managed to find parking easy as.

This was a last minute stay for us and we are so glad we found it, one of our favorite locations in NZ. Staff was super friendly and the room was immaculate. The view was to die for and it was a great bonus that you could hear the waves. I was nervous about hearing or seeing neighbors but I did not one time.

The bonus of being right on the lake is that you are also right on the lake PATH. There is a ton of traffic on this path in the morning and evening as people used it for exercise or commuting to town. It did not detract from us, just be aware if you like your privacy.

The location was stunning. The heating and cooling in the room was great. The position in town is also great with the new countdown a quick drive down the road! The View was absolutely stunning with access to the walkway from the hotel. The heated outdoor pool was amazing and same with the private in room spa bath. Daily room refreshes were so appreciated also!

The noise from other guests, which to be fair isn’t particularly the owners fault. I would request an upstairs room next time as even my children were sick of being woken by a bouncing ball every morning. The couch and bedding had stains which I thought as such a high end location and price point that wouldn’t be present.

Loved staying here right on the lake, so fantastic view, nice walk along the lakefront to town or a shirt walk the other way to Two Mile Bay Sailing club for dinner and drinks. Loved the spa in the lounge room, the kitchen had everything you need, shared laundry, the hot pool was so good, the room was very cozy and warm with underfloor heating. Everything was great. Enjoyed relaxing on the beanbags, watching the lake and people walking by. We will return .

It was clean, tidy and warm for a cold winters day/night. There was underfloor heating and it was so warm we didn’t need the heat pump on. There was a huge spa bath in the main living area with the double bed, we didn’t use it though. They also had SKY TV. The bed was so comfortable and the room was massive! Really exceeded our expectations. View was Amazing!

Pillows could be a little bigger if I had to choose something. We were in the family room on ground floor and could hear kids moving about/stomping heavily above us.

The location was perfect and such a good walk to town along the lake. The sunsets were magnificent. The staff were very easy to get along with and made the stay so great.

The rooms and the apartments were lovely and plenty of space and very clean, and the spa is a wonderful touch, however a little update would be nice, but would not stop us coming back - we loved it.

The location was beautiful, right on the lakefront as presented. The room was thoughtfully decorated and very beautiful. Underfloor heating was an unexpected surprise and a great treat! The kitchen is well set up for long stays. The spa tub was a good size and a great way to unwind at the end of the day.

The shower was a little lacklustre, and the toilet felt like it was barely attached to the wall, but these were the only downfalls.

Location was fantastic. Absolutely adore having the view of the lake right outside our room. My 5 year old was super excited to see the swans and ducks swimming in the lake. We also liked that the room had a fully functional kitchen. Would have been perfect if there was a washer and dryer too.

The towels had stains and the quilt had old blood stains on it which was really quite a turn off. As it was summer time in NZ when we visited, there were swarms of flies after the sun set. Quite a bummer as we wished we could have stayed outside in the balcony a bit longer.
