They heated the room for our arrival. The rooms were clean, and it had a private bathroom. It came with kitchen supplies, a fridge, and a microwave. The beds were very comfortable. The towels were thick and fluffy. You can park right in front of your room. It's conveniently located. It's good value for money. The staff are really friendly. Free wifi. The stream that runs through the property that's thermal. There's a playground.

The aerial for the TV was damaged, so the reception was unpredictable. They only provided 1 roll of toilet paper for 3 ppl for 4 nights so you have to request 1 everyday or buy your own. The toilet paper may have been an oversight though because they provided 4 rubbish bags per bin. The pillows were very thin and didn't provide much head support. However, I'm sure if we'd asked for more pillows they would have given them. They gave a strong impression that customer satisfaction was very important to them.

The place was lovely, the heatpump was on, which was good as it was a cold day. Basic but that's what you want for one night. The bed was very comfortable and I had a great sleep. Microwave for heating food but a great BBQ outside. They do allow dogs which was good, and add an extra fee, and so agree with that. Not every dog owner is a good dog owner and thy

when I arrived at the reception area, lets say I was concerned what the rooms would be like!! The room was great, only concern was the shower, which is very old and doesn't look clean, but I'm sure it is, as the units are very clean. Just dated, I decided not to have one. Walls not insulated, as I could hear everything happening on both sides of me lol

We stayed in one of the chalets. It was heated when we arrived, which was very inviting and cosy. Nice spacious, clean rooms. 😊 Lovely spa bath. Sound of a creek at night. 🌙 Quiet country feel. Not far from town. With everything we needed. I liked the bed. The other beds were too soft, this one was just right.

Only had one pillow (each) on our bed. It would've been nice for my husband and i to have 2 pillows each. Parked a small distance from the room, (not right outside) But that's only an issue if it's raining and you forgot something in the truck. =)

A quiet motel, close to the Waikato River and Spa Thermal Park (10 mins walking distance to the Otumuheke Hot Water Pools). It was cosy, had decent amenities and was quite liveable. No hob but had everything else (microwave, kettle, dishes, cutlery, fridge) The staff were friendly, check in was quick and simple. The bed was comfortable, the aircon kept the room cool and the bathroom was quite clean with required amenities.

Minor thing, does not impact the ability to stay, but it was looking a little tired. Paint peeling, small holes in the wall and skirting boards. No issue with the actual stay, just doesn't present as well as it could be.

I like staying there because of my connection to our Tupuna who resided there many years ago do has an emotional attachment. Nice treatment from the guy at the front office

The cleaning and towels, went out to my meeting came back sink bench was riddled with ants. Cleaning needs to be done better mould in doorway, shower doors and the body wash pump, I have stayed at the Chalets and room 205 and not experienced this. But thank you for having the room nice and warm on entering and I hope I can continue to come and stay

We loved that the room had a good heat pump we were warm and the bed was comfy. We were able to park right outside our unit, it was quiet in the immediate area and we were close to the hot pools, golf course and my work place

We were very disappointed in the standard of the cleaning especially in the bathroom area heaps of other people's hair in the shower under and around the vanity and toilet. The Base board in the bathroom were thick with dust and other people hair as well. We had to clean the bathroom before we used it.

We had 4 chalets. We took 2 airbeds for extra beds which they were fine with we just had to pay $60 for the 2 nights. Great location, we attended Ki O Rahi Nationals at Owen Delaney park only couple mins drive from accom, you could also walk up the track. Very quiet and away from the busy roads. Had a pool which the kids loved. Close to laundromat, fish n chip shop and dairy.

No information booklet in the room. Cleaner did not collect dirty towels that we left outside room door and did not replace with clean ones. I called the manager and he came down to drop clean ones off to us. In chalet rm 303 the stairs are very squeaky and has a dip in the step or maybe broken, so when the girls would come down at night to use bathroom they were falling down the stairs not very safe. Bathroom Slider door came off the track in rm 302, after we managed to put back on we couldn’t lock it from the inside.

Friendly reception area. The room met our needs, beds firm and comfortable, awesome shower. Perfect location. Close to Wairakei Spas, our favourite fish & chip shop "Catch 22", easy access to the quay for other activities and most of all close to the expressway e.g Spa Road-Centennial Drive then onto express way north or south

On the side of 200's rooms the recycling bins could have been labelled better, maybe the steps and verandah to the rooms could do with a a fresh coat of paint same colour as the blue in reception, a bigger road sign.

So quiet and serene, it is a pet friendly resort, which was awesome as we like to be able to take our fur baby with us, and there was plenty of space for our Staffy to have exercise. The room was comfy and warm. Staff were friendly and accommodating. We will def be returning altho aged it would ha e been a stunner in the day. However, for what we wanted, it was perfect. Highly recommend different types of room stays available but value for money. Great parking out front of our room. Close to town just a short drive. Rubbish and recycling handy to rooms. The shower was nice, and there were plenty of hot water fresh towels delivered daily. Bbqs are available, too. They have a small pool but too cold to swim this round. lolz

Loved that Grandeur was nestled just outside of Taupo. Close enough to run to the shops & do activities but far enough to have a break from the bustle of people. The setting, being somewhat amongst trees & shrub was really nice & relaxing. Our room was basic, but had most of everything we needed. The heat pump especially come in handy with the winter cold as well as the spa bath. Drawers as the wardrobe were also good to have & allowed us to actually unpack our clothes instead of living out of your suitcase. I overall really loved this place & would definitely go again.

Would have loved a hob in the kitchen to cook meals off & better pillows (as the ones they have are like rock hard 🤣).
