Friendly welcome, great location, parking space provided with plenty of room to manouevre, bathroom facilities were great, 2 single beds for our kids were perfect, great lounge space & comfy couches, heat pump kept the whole room warm.

Queen bed was very hard (& unfortunately means we won't stay again solely because of this as we prefer softer & left with sore backs), very small kitchen bench/cooking space but made do, no body wash in shower (luckily had bought our own).

very clean with good size room. upstairs had a distant lake view and view of surrounding houses. own allocated car park. plenty of tea and coffee supplied. Room 9

shower fluctuated from very hot to cold and then ended up cold. Not much privacy with shared walkway to rooms. Bathroom window latch is loose and just needs a screw driver to tighten it before it falls off. mentioned to staff so I’m sure it will be done.

Our 2 nights stay with ASURE Ascot Motor Inn TAUPO exceeded our expectations. Prior to booking, the online images looked good and we could see it would suit our family. Once we arrived it was larger and we appreciated the space. Our two bedroom apartment was modern, well thought out with the many details making it super comfy. We prefer to travel with our own comforters but they did have some cosy ones there and the extra plush blankets were great during our movies on the couch. Heat pump essential for those cold nights. Lamps in each room was a warm touch. Although we didn’t need to use many things provided within the facility it was nice they were available. Hubby and my boys enjoyed the spa bath which was a bonus. Location close to the city centre and only a 10 minute drive from our favourite hot pools DeBretts. Thank you staff for being friendly and we appreciated the apartment being very clean!

Our stay was amazing! It was clean, tidy & like home. It had all the facilities (in the shower, kitchenette and bedroom) we needed for the night! It had bed warmers which was lovely. Had a heater in the bathroom, convenient for drying yourself after a shower! Sky TV plus 1 park spot which was locate close by to the unit. Check in was simple, and easy. Wifi was available (6GB). They also had a useful guide about the motel & facilities around Taupo which made finding a place to have dinner really nice! I couldn’t find the salt (unsure if there was any cause idid find some pepper!) but other than that, nothing else!

The rooms are spacious, well appointed and spotlessly clean. The location is good, quiet yet with views over the lake and mountains in the distance. Close to convenience store and a lovely walk-able distance from the city center. Checking in and out could not have been easier.

The beds were on the hard side. Even though there is an air conditioning unit in the living area, it doesn't quite bring the temperature down in the room. A fan would have been appreciated to circulate the air.

Very clean, quiet and also staff were great to communicate with and friendly. Rooms very warm for those cold nights, lots of choice with Sky ! . The toiletries were better than some 5* hotels we have stayed at ! . Also very helpful with supplying a high chair for our son in our room .

1- the outdoor light is very bright , and although turns off later in the night , it would be great if it was controlled by the rooms as it was a little bright for our toddlers bedtime. 2- would love hot chocolate as a choice in the room , but that’s being picky 3- the bed frames were a little creaky, was worried if I moved it would wake my toddler

The room was big, clean and had everything I needed (complimentary tea and coffee plus cooking facilities) There is a cafe and a mini Market near by and I had a partial view of the lake. The room had a spa bathtub which I was able to use after a long day mountain biking to Huka Falls.

It was a bit of a walk to town 15mins (more than I thought it'd be) which is a lot when you're tired but apart from that, I was very pleased with my stay.

The location is very good, it's about 8-9 minutes to the beach. Each unit has its own parking space, so everyone doesn't need to worry about not being able to find parking. The staff are also nice and enthusiastic.

There are a ton of ants inside the bathroom, like a lot, all concentrated around the bathtub. Fortunately, we found insecticide under the sink, otherwise, we really didn't want to enter the bathroom. And we found two ants on the bed in the other room we booked. You should hire professional pest control; this is a really serious issue. Additionally, there's a kid running around on the second floor, and the soundproofing doesn't seem to be good.

We enjoyed our stay here very much. The unit was very clean and warm throughout, heat pump was excellent. A very nice layout with large bedrooms. Great host. Easy parking. Additionally just across the road you can get a very nice Chinese buffet for only $20. Four Square is also very handy too.

The water pressure in the shower was passable but could be much better.

The room was spacious and well-suited for a family, with a modern and clean design. It offered ample cupboard space and was tidy and well-presented, creating a comfortable and inviting atmosphere. It was wonderful to return to fresh towels and a spotless bathroom, which had been cleaned while we were out.

The sleeper couch was not very comfortable, and we discovered some dirty dishes mixed with the clean ones in the kitchen cupboard
