I very much enjoyed my stay here I had my grandson with me while his parents were there for work. An it was great I could here other people's kids running up an down the hallway the place felt alive.i was very happy with my room very comfortable sleep all the amenities I needed was great would recommend to other families an definitely would stay again.

Nothing to do with the motel this comment but booking.com u suck I booked a room 2wks before an they canceled my room said that I had insufficient funds or my card number was wrong I had a look on my bank acc they never tried to take my money at all just an excuse so I booked another room an the same thing happened again the money wz in there the card number was right will never deal with booking .Com ever again.

I traveled over 20 hours and ended up getting there early. The person at the front desk was super personable, knowledgeable about the area and let me check in a bit early! Notbing like that first shower after a long stretch of traveling. The place was very clean, including the kitchen which had all the basics and a nice patio to sit aside to enjoy your meal. It’s a good location overall. Within 10-20 minute walk of food and activities.

Did it realize the front desk wouldn’t be manned all the time but it didn't end up being an issue.

The room was very nice. Clean and tidy.the bed was amazing. Nothing luxurious but very good. Good value for money.

Unfortunately the people next door were having a party at 3 a.m. drunk, extremely noisy, and nobody did anything about it.

We enjoyed the privacy, warmth, spacious, convenience, and quiet,

Dryer wasn't, working, laundry was very unclean. Although the motel was in great condition a good spring clean once a month will have the place looking spotless. Other than that Silverfern Lodge is a perfect home away from home to relax and enjoy your time and holiday in Taupo. Thankyou

Location is brilliant. It is one street away from the lakefront and right next to a large carpark. The location makes it susceptible to noise, but we didn't have an issue. Rooms did everything they needed to with good water pressure in the showers.

The lift only goes to the first floor. We were on floor 3. not a major problem, but something worth knowing about in advance.

Overall customer service was excellent my daughter and I really enjoyed our stay. Comfortable and very relaxing away from our busy lives , always good to be back home where my mum is buried, & visit family and friends Thank you for your continuous service. Much appreciated Nga mihi Kerry 🙂

Affordable accommodation close to all of the tourist attractions we booked. We were happy with what we paid for as we were out most of the day and only needed somewhere to sleep. Supermarket down the road so it was convenient. The two male staff we interacted with were friendly and efficient helping with our requests, thanks for being so helpful! Beds were comfortable, rooms were spacious, private bathroom was clean and shower was big with good water pressure. Wifi was free and really fast.

Nothing major but we booked a two bedroom unit so we thought it would be two bedrooms inside the same room however you get 2 separate bedrooms (units) next door to each other and the private bathroom is separate as well directly opposite one of those rooms. We were on ground floor and at night we could hear so much noise from doors slamming not sure if it was from dorm next to us or upstairs but it was constant.

So spacious, its warm has heatpumps in the rooms and is like a full on Unit with a oven even, well worth the money, we stay away alot with the kids and this was perfect for a family to stay in

Our bed was slightly harder than the rest but in the largest room so I thought it might have had the comfy bed, also it would be great if the main rooms had a mirror in them so you could get changed and ready in the rooms

very quiet location and pleasant walk to the food shops and lakefront. Secured under covered car park next to hotel reception. Communal kitchen was clean and well equipped.

It may help to put up a sign on the communal kitchen door to remind guests to close the door to prevent the cooking smell from flowing out through the corridor and guest rooms.

We didn't have breakfast. We really enjoyed our visit, nice place, my kids loved it there. Thank you guys at silver fern 👍

We could hear the neighbors banging around and yelling. That outside light flashing made my kids very uncomfortable. The lighting inside our room could be a bit more bright.
