Excellent up to date facilities, the shower was hot and strong, A1. The employee we finally saw was pleasant and helpful.

Customer service. no one at reception during peak arrival time. In a busy, popular area like Taupo, I'd expect face to face contact. Plus the surcharge for credit card booking should be built into the cost as banks now make single transactions like this very difficult. A discount for cash/bank transfer would be more appropriate This is what tourism is all about. With the last occupants washing and putting away dishes I wonder what checks staff did on their cleanliness. Sadly two black marks suggesting meanness and cost-cutting on what should have been top-quality accommodation

We had a lovely stay at Dunrovin. Prompt communication regarding payment and room details. The motel is exceptionally tidy and the room was fabulous. The bed was comfortable and we appreciated having both firm and soft pillows. The bathroom was very clean and a shower dome was a nice touch - tall enough for my 6ft partner to stand comfortably in. Parking was right outside our room which was very handy. It was about a 15 minute walk into town for restaurants and cafes, and the supermarkets are very close by. Check in is via lock box, which was completely hassle free. We will definitely stay again when visiting Taupō!

Nothing really, we had a great stay and would look to book again when visiting Taupō.

The studio we stayed in was elegant, clean and very comfortable. Everything was well explained in the welcome book and the garden area and all the plants really gave everything a very cosy feel and very beautiful. It was also quite far away from the road so it was very quiet. It's also very close to the centre of Taupo and the water front so you can't get better than that really. The self check in was really easy and the communication with the staff was excellent, both on here and in person. We will definitely stay here again.

Excellent and friendly communication prior to our stay from the owners. Easy check-in and check-out. Location was great, handy to the town centre. Easy to plenty of space to park directly outside of the unit. Shower had good pressure. Nice clean unit.

The one bedroom unit is pretty compact so despite being separated from our daughter who slept in the lounge area, she was directly outside the door. We always book a one bedroom now as she finds it hard to get to sleep with her father's snoring, and usually the one bedroom units are a little larger with more distance for sleeping arrangements. With the closeness of this proximity we could just have booked an open studio style accomodation which would have been cheaper.

Loved the vibes and comfort from as early as the online booking. Staff proved all this on arrival and throughout the 6night stay. Fantastic layout of everything with the spa bath being the cherry on top.

Couldn't fault the accommodation. Parking was a challenge as we (Grandmother and I) and other travelers had to share or switch bays, even use the disabled spot.

The rooms are newly furnished, exceptionally clean. You really can’t fault them at all . Location is perfect. Shower is fabulous! Hot and pressurised.

Every morning at about 5 am the house occupants behind chops fire wood and woke us all up . After a few days away I am so tired and wouldn’t then stay again I don’t think purely based on this . Heated towel rail would have been great but ours didn’t seem to work / I couldn’t see an obvious button to switch on .maybe it just looked like a heated one but wasn’t No where to really hang wet togs / damp towels. Didn’t find the instructions for the hob until the last day ( bottom drawer at the back !)

Everything! Great value for money. Everything we needed for 3 picky and value for the money seeker adults. Happy and satisfied with our stay. We are definitely coming back. Thank you for having us. Generous with towels, hand towels, tea towels, etc for 3 adults.

Nothing. Everything is perfect. Every tiny details were well taken cared off. I loved it when hosts are generous with tea towels, kitchen rugs and cleaning supplies (which they were). I don't want to trash the places I stayed. But only possible if provided with what I needed to keep the place tidy and reasonable.

The one bed unit was just right for my stay. The unit was well appointed and spotlessly clean. The garden setting was lovely and quiet and the featured garden was in full bloom with roses and wisteria. A very peaceful and friendly place. Adele was extremely helpful, handing me my key on arrival and providing information for my visit.

Nothing needs improving.

Awesome layout as soon as we pulled in. I always appreciate a single storied place to stay. We were also able to park directly outside our room. Loved also that we turned up later to check in and it was sorted easily via intercom and lockbox. The spa was beautiful and shower spacious. It was super warm so if you're that way inclined you're in luck. Loved also that it was a 5-7min walk to the main centre of town.

Wonderful stay. My boys found the accommodation very clean, bed super comfy & the hosts ABSOLUTELY amazing & always easy to communicate with. This is a truly wonderful Motel, great location, clean & so accommodating. Definitely 100% recommend. THANKYOU THANKYOU x
