The room warmed up quickly and they turned on lights and heater for our arrival. It was roomy and the bed was really comfortable!! Good communication from the reception staff, the direction map information to the unit was really good.

It was dark when we arrived, it was middle of winter, nearly shortest day. The villa would have been easier to identify with better lighting on the number identifying the unit. Also better lighting on the Quality Suites sign on arrival, so you drive into the correct entry driveway. The exterior light of the villa was not working this may have made our unit more obvious, fine once we got there. A fresh set of curtains would lift the unit.

So I have ticked nearly all of the happy faces but there is one thing that is of concern to my wife and self....

....it would not have been a very relaxing stay at all if we had stumbled and fallen whilst lugging our baggage etc. up and down those treacherous carport steps. You guys have got to put a hand rail on those steps before somebody breaks their necks...and it might not be and old codger like me, it could be a kid or worse still one of your wonderful staff members. Oh horrors, then you would have to answer to WorkSafe! ( scary emoji ). I will check on progress before our (or friends and families ) next stay.

Spacious clean and well-equipped house, nice staff, short ride to Taupo

It was a bit dark in the house (in the kitchen and living room), but no possibility to sit outside. The houses are divided into two units, one large and one small apartment. There is a connecting door through which you can hear everything, and you kind of share the terrace with the neighbours. Also, the car park of the smaller flat is directly in front of the terrace. As the second flat was also occupied all the time, we didn't really feel private during our stay, even though we had such a large apartment.

The cottage was fabulous. Nice and spacious for the family. Easy to find and also get into town. The beds were so comfortable, better then ours at home! Lovely quiet area.

The oven was pretty historic and didn't have a safety plate at the back and when you used the fan bake it would hit and oven shelf and make a massive noise. You kept having to pull the shelf forward. The fuses blew a couple of times when boiling the kettle but was easy enough to reset. The water pressure was non existent. Just needed a basic update.

Lovely lady at reception. We felt welcomed and wanted. The layout and parking was great and loved the villa village setting. Room was very clean. Beds comfortable, everything we needed was there. Thanks

The space for all the kitchen type amenities was small as in counter space. However it worked and considering the great pricing was quite acceptable. Loved having an iron but it leaked. Still a great place to stay.

Staff were warm and friendly. Check in was a breeze. Location is perfectly central but tucked away enough from the riff raff of being in the heart of town. The open green space adds to the ample spaciousness. The kitchenette had everything we needed and even some of the nice-to-haves of being “at home”. The heater on in our room in the cold chill of winter prior to arriving was an extra touch that was unexpected but very well received!

Water pressure in the shower was pretty ordinary but in fairness, this isn’t something within their control and it was far from a dealbreaker (perhaps it’s a more deliberate strategy in support of environmental sustainability which I respect!)

Had not visited Taupo previously, so booked into a 1BR initially. Clean, comfy cute cottage Decided to stay another couple of days and do some of the activities in the region. Great location

I had arranged a late check-in. Unfortunately the office was closed by the time I arrived. Luckily my keys were available for collection. Address is not what appears on the Booking.com site, so it took me nearly an hour to locate the correct address. THE CORRECT ADDRESS IS 30 SORRENTO DRIVE, RANGITIRA PARK, TAUPO The address which is advertised on Booking.com looks like a church hall and is 3 blocks away from where I needed to go.

Such a cute little villa. Toasty warm with the heat pump. Amazing location - minutes from town but feels much more secluded. Lovely, helpful check in lady with great advice for things to do. Surprised to get fresh towels every day. Loved the grass area right outside to kick a ball around. Friendly neighbouring unit resident. Quiet, with a great view of the mountains off the private deck.

It was very homely, had everything we needed including plenty blankets, the bed was the best bed I have ever slept in (I am a very fussy mattress person). The kitchen was fab that we could have brekkie and drinks before going out. The location is really nice not being near noisey traffic or lit up near town but not far from town either. Finally the price for two was amazing, really worth it!!!

The shower head was slightly lose which I’m sure wouldn’t take much to fix. Maybe a table in that spare space in the bathroom to sit toilet bags etc on.

The beds are comfortable to sleep in. The house is clean. The staff is amazing - there was an issue during my late/after hours check-in (the welcome envelope assigned for us disappeared), after giving them a call, the staff came in and resolved the issue and more, as prompt as possible. The location is great, about 5 or so minutes drive away from the town - far enough to be in a quiet and tranquil area, and close enough if I need anything from the town.

We were using the same wifi signal from the reception and since the house is a fair distance from the reception, the signal is sketchy at best in the house that was assigned for us. We can barely get any signal at all. But there was also a different strong wifi signal in the house, but it was password protected. We are not sure if that is a dedicated wifi for the house assigned to us or not, we did not get the chance to ask, since it was late night and the staff is gone when we found out about it all.
