Very friendly and obliging staff. Privacy. Free unlimited wifi. Great location. Pool was great for our son. The pool was cleaned daily. Water pressure in the shower. It was a big unit with a full sized oven with elements on top and a dining room table with 4 comfortable chairs. The two single beds included were located in the bedroom and the other in the lounge. Couch very comfy.

Shared hot water with neighbouring unit who had a big family so ended up with very luke water one morning. Couldn't cast to the very small TV. But you could log straight into Netflix etc.

The owner was very nice and welcoming and let us check in quite early which was great. The unit was very clean and well equipped. Close to town, Great having air conditioning as the temperature was very warm, The pool was great just what we needed on those very warm days

We set the table up for dinner but unfortunately the placemats had been overlooked dry food stains all over them. The traffic from the main road can be quite noisey at times.

Probably the best motel we've stayed in, it's a shame we didn't get to spend too much time at the motel as we were busy seeing family, but in the evenings we spent there were pleasant. The a/c was nice and cold when we got back and beds were comfortable. Shower pressure was good and had everything we needed for the weekend we stayed there. Will definitely be returning to Chevoit lodge the next time we stay in Whangarei.

Only small issue we could find was the parking as our car was parked by the pool and had a neighbor parked right outside our unit

The host was wonderful, close to shops and town, spectacular eye for detail, equipped with everything and more, managment was super helpful when I had extra passengers arrive day early, thankfully they were able to stay with us on our last night before our next day of travel, very cozy rooms, warm n dry, very clean, cant complain bout anything

Upon arrival immediately, my family and I were welcomed with a warm smile and polite conversation ☺️ Clear information was explained, such as car parking and pool area. The room was so cozy, very immaculate, and the beds were very comfortable. Would definitely return again, next time we travel far up north.

I booked this room for my mum as she wanted to stay close to the hospital while my father was there. Mum said the room was lovely and clean, she loved the shower pressure and the staff made check in and out so easy for her. I really appreciated that she felt safe and comfortable.

Mum said that the bed was too hard for her. Bare in mind she's old and likes super comfy soft beds. This is not a criticism, most hotel beds are quite firm, she still enjoyed her stay.

Convenient, handy to town and being on Western Hills Drive allows a speedy getaway. We stayed in unit 15, so far from traffic noise. Comfortable beds, roomy, has everything you need. Jan is always friendly and delightful. I love staying here when I'm going through Whangarei.

Close to town, need a car to access eateries and sights. Good facilities, really comfy bed, had everything we needed for our stay with swimming pool as a lovely extra.

Needed to drive to restaurants, but it appears most motels were on the outskirts of the town.

Loved the location, friendliness of the receptionist, and cleanliness of the rooms.

The only thing was that we had 4 towels when there were 5 people, and when we went to reception to ask for more, no one was there. You had to buzz call and wait but we didn't have the time to do that.

Loved the house with its amazing privacy. Kids loved the pool. Hosts were above and beyond provided a good amount of towels and rooms were huge. They even called when things were left behind. Thank yous so much would recommend to others.

Pool could be a bit bigger but was still okay. Would of been better if there was an an air fryer, salt and pepper but thats okay. I'd also recommend netting curtains as we couldn't leave the curtains open without people seeing in.
