The room on the corner on the first floor was very good, spacious and car parking outside. The bed was comfortable and the location and appearance of this hotel is excellent. We also had a very good dinner in your restaurant with friendly staff.

The only thing that we were a little wary of is that we could not close completely the window at the top. The traffic noise was quite loud and being old and retired we go to bed around 9.30 with the traffic noise still quite loud. I ended up stuffing cotton wool in my ears to deaden the noise impact

A great location for easy access to the town centre. The rooms were lovely and clean and fantastic daily room service. The staff were so friendly and welcoming and accommodating to our needs. Beds were comfortable I can't speak more highly of the quality of the restaurant food. It was superb. 10/10. A very enjoyable stay and would most definitely stay again on our next trip.

The basin in our room was very small and nowhere to put your toiletries as nothing but the basin. This is only minor considering the rest of the room was great.

Very helpful staff, the night porter checked me in on night of my arrival at 4am! She also put the heating on in my room before I arrived. Would definitely recommend.

Property was easy to get to and just minutes from the city centre. Plenty of parking and the room was really nicely presented. Really loved the breakfast being included. I’m had a late booking due to an unexpected stay and they accommodated me after hours which was really nice.

The nights I stayed there was a cold snap so my room was cold. Having slightly better bed comforters or electric blankets as an option would have been nice. And the breakfast on the second day ran out and was not refilled for a hood 15 minutes, so waiting around was a bit bothersome but the breakfast was yummy.

Very clean, relatively quiet, I could hear some traffic quite early, but not overly loud. All staff were very friendly & helpful. The food was fabulous!

2 double beds in one room, didn’t really need that, I feel the space could have been better used. Bathroom was beautiful clean & efficient but low water pressure, little ventilation, and super tiny

We were pleasantly surprised. The bed was comfy and the hotel has clearly been renovated recently. The location proved great and a short walk into town.

Breakfast was limited and didn’t represent good value so we only had this once. Limited ability to make or keep food in room.

We stayed 2 nights in 2 units. We were upgraded so had room 25 &26, They were really nice & clean and facing onto the lawn with the big trees. Didn't spend much time there as we were with family in Whangarei for Christmas but enjoyed a sit outside on the patio with a cuppa enjoying the greenery. Had a short swim the morn we left but the pool needed a bit of a clean, it looked a bit green.The lounge, dining rooms looked really nice and decorated for Christmas but didn't have time to spend any time there. Would like to have a meal in the restaurant sometime we're up.

Really great food & staff, really clean, overall really impressed. This is our second stay here & we really like it. Not sure how it would be in summer as there’s no air con. But we’d definitely stay again 😍

No air con, can be a little noisy, parties & traffic (if you’re on that side) that’s all

The staff were very nice and helpful. We needed to shorten the length of our stay and the staff helped us do that with booking.com. We ended up having a very nice afternoon in the sun outside and an excellent dinner at the restaurant on site . The room was very comfy and the shower/bathroom was refreshing.

Can't really complain about anything. Everything was great :)

Room and bathroom very clean. Bed very comfy. Tea & coffee equipment good. Good bag storage space. Restaurant available on premises. Excellent

It was extremely hot night. Electric fan didn't have ability to stop oscillating. So, air conditioning would have been ideal.
