The customer service was polite and friendly, the room was clean, with comfortable bedding and the shower was nice and hot with good water pressure.

Noisy neighbor on our last night

Easy to find, good location relatively close to city centre, nice and quiet, easy parking, easy after-hours check-in process (although owners rang to determine my arrival time when I was enroute and were still at reception when I arrived which was nice), comfy bed, spacious shower and bathrom, great kitchen, comfy couch, great heat pump, easy check-out. Great value for money. I had a little trouble locking the sliding door but figured it out eventually.

Everything was great. Will definitely stay again. The motel compendium says they have Sky Movies but they didn't seem to be available. Sometimes when you're away from home & household chores, you just want to settle in with a good movie and a takeaway. A smart tv where you can log-in with your own Netflix/streaming account might be a good alternative and cheaper for the proprietors than providing Sky. A lovely motel though, modernised bathroom and kitchen. Could perhaps provide a couple of champagne/bubbles flutes as well as wine glasses (op shops are good for these).

Absolutely fantastic motel. This was our 4th stay and we've decided this is our go-to motel when we have to stay on Whangarei. We loved the spaciousness of the unit, from the lounge/kitchenette to the bedroom and bathroom: so much lovely space. The spa bath is the absolute WINNER for us and we will always try to book that room. It's that lil bit of luxury that we are happy to pay extra for. Everything was meticulously clean. The king-sized bed was soft, comfy and warm, the extra blankets and pillows weren't needed but it was good to have them just in case. Honestly it's a great place to stay and worth the price if you're looking for accommodation that has a spa-bath. Just note, it's on the 2nd floor.

Have a little more dishwashing liquid and soap in the soap dispenser in the bathroom. That's all.

Absolutely awesome place to stay, Staff are friendly and you get milk upon arrival for your coffee's and teas. Comfortable clean and well maintained. Spacious bathroom and rooms are with aircon and sky tv, clean showers and good pressure, beds are comfy great value for your stay I have stayed here 4 times and will continue to book here everytime I travel to whangarei.

Spa pool isn't working would have been great to use. Other than that we enjoy our stay here everytime.

Great stay we were in the family unit rm21 nice big unit and heaps of space for our family of 5 loved our big private balcony and table outside too and massive TV.

The double bed in the living room a little bit hard, however still had a goodnights sleep 👍👍 Hopefully we can experience the spa next time as it was closed for maintenance during our stay

The staff were very friendly and responsive. The beds were comfortable, the kitchen was well equipped and the shower was good.

Very thin walls and gap under connecting door made it noisy from next door. Neither of the reading lamps were working when we arrived but they were fixed quickly when reported. The decor is rather tired.

The staff and place were great but they had one very obnoxious guest who abused them as he couldn't maintain a phone conversation with his wife and said their wifi was dropping of, whereas I had no problem with it, people like this should shut up. The staff handled it well and even came and appologised to us for the disturbance, they asked him to leave but he kept ranting with every foul word in the book, this went on for well over half an hour after which we went out, We came back 3 hours later and could still hear him in the next unit carrying on like a spoiled brat. Thank you to the lovely gentleman on reception, there is no way you should have been treated like that and I hope you never have to deal with the likes ofthat again.

The rooms are spacious and tidy. Very large car park spaces to accommodate plenty cars I like the warmth reception given to me by the receptionist i met Out of the stressful work schedule, the cleaners keep smiling

The room was very could, i don't know if there's a heater there. If there's none, i recommend some are fix in the rooms No restaurant or bar to attend to the needs of customers, especially those who may travel there at night. I was waken up by a call made by another customer in the middle of the night, and I could not sleep again. He was so loud that everyone could hear him

Very spacious, friendly staff, a lot of parking, sky tv, staff kept grounds very clean. The good out-weighed the bad. was quite happy and was quite close to the places we needed i.e shops

Had a very basic look, furnishings need upgrading, perhaps some paintings or adding little touches to the room to feel more inviting. Steps felt dangerous as very slippery.

Spa bath was awesome in Room 11. Shower excellent. Easy parking. Bed was comfortable and clean.Heating was perfect. Good location with little noise. Skys sports channels were an excellent addition. Would recommend.

Stairs are a little tricky to upper apartments with low hand rail transporting luggage if physically disabled. No ovan tray.
