Room was spacious and tidy. Modern with a vintage style which created a very welcoming and romantic space for our little weekend get away, We booked a spa bath room, which was nice and allowed room for the both of us to share.

Perhaps we missed some info, but it was a little disappointing the spa bath seemed to turn off at 10 (our running theory) We suspect it is due to noise but we certainly missed an opportunity to enjoy a long soak.

Great property, very clean and comfortable

Tiny detail but for three of us we were only given 1 sachet of body wash, shampoo and conditioner so we had to go out and purchase some. And only 1 complimentary biscuit. This didn’t worry us but for a family unit it seemed unusual. In saying that I’d definitely stay here again. It’s the nicest motel I’ve found in Whangarei.

Service was amazing, clear, generous and informative. location was easy to find. Facilities were surprising, spa bath 10/10 and also had plenty of kitchen appliances and utensils. Aircon unit there actually worked, comfortable bed, clean linen, smelled lovely upon entering, even had parking assigned right outside the room booked. This is somewhere I would 100% stay at again and look forward to that time.

The rescue helicopter flies directly over the motel, not something that can be avoided clearly but if you are not in a deep sleep you do hear it and if your in the rooms that are not behind the main building road noises are louder

Everyting from check in to check out. Very central location. Staff were very helpful and friendly. The room was perfect, we have travelled a lot and we had 3 rooms here and the cleanliness was faultless, the bed was so comfortable and the small things that were in the room made a difference, even as simple as toilet spray lol

We liked everything

Close to the centre of Whangarei, easily accessible, car park right in front of your room. Everything you need in your room, great bathroom and kitchen. Highly recommended for business trips.

Could hear some of the louder cars/trucks passing.

Lovely room, bed was really comfortable, loved that our room was serviced the entire time we were there, Sunday through to Thursday, really accommodating getting us the extra night in the same room. Enjoyed the pool and Reggie the kuri 💕 Great location

Excellent service from the friendly family that own and run the business. We were pleasantly surprised to find the inhouse menu was so reasonably priced and actually cooked by the owners. Every meal we had was excellent. Why go out when we could enjoy home cooked breakfast in our room. We will definitely stay with the Chamberlins on our next visit to Whangarei.

The size was excellent for an 1 bedroom apartment. Everything was clean & tidy with a beautiful smell. Beds super comfy. Spa bath was the best. I highly recommend😊

I loved the spa bath! Very spacious room with everything you need and more. The bed is probably the best bed I have ever slept on. Spacious and well-equipped kitchen. Nice, relaxing, and peaceful even though the main road is right there! Awesome host too.
