The place exceeded my expectations: spacious room, comfortable bed, adjustable bed lights as well as the usual ceiling lights, bathroom spacious, everything very neat& tidy and of better quality than usual accommodation. A very well-stocked kitchen nearby, with dining and lounge furniture also.

As I have a walking disability, the steepness of the outside of the property was uncomfortable and a bit difficult. The street was very steep also which meant that I really had to drive rather than walk which was a pity as the Town Basin etc is very close by.

An easy 5 minute walk uphill from the bus stop. Convenient to food, sights, and shopping but just outside of the central district. A quiet, tranquil spot to rest after a day of activities. A great sized room with a large lounge and kitchenette across the hall and a sunny terrace overlooking the river.

This spot is the perfect spot for all of your adventures in Whangrei. It was an easy walk to all the local areas and just a 6 minute walk to the bus stop. It was a great place to rest at night while exploring the beautiful country side. I would stay here again.

It’s convenient as it’s right in town, the whole stay was very comfortable as well as the setting of the place inside and view looking out from the garden area.

The bed was wonderful to sleep on. The property was in a good position for us - going down to see the yachts etc and easy to get in and out of the city.

Place to park car not so good and quite steep footpath to go to main door of property.

The property was walking distance to the CBD, restaurants and shops. There was a seperate lounge/dining/kitchen that was huge, functional and comfortable. The bedroom had double glazed windows, so we heard no traffic even though we overlooked a main road. We also enjoyed meeting with the proprietor who was informative, friendly and accommodating.

There was nothing to dislike.

Large rooms adjoining lounge facility - had games, cooking etc. ideal for 2 couples in the 2 rooms with ensuite each and a shared lounge. Met owner very friendly.

Nothing. Thought traffic noise may be an issue but was good at night.

Travelled for work. Comfortable stay located centrally and near amenities and where I needed to be. Cosy room and nice facilities.

Parking situation a little different but still quite close to the entrance.

The room and view were beautiful and very comfortable. Very well maintained and great facilities also handy to town and walking "the loop" of the Whangarei town basin. The hosts were very friendly and helpful.

Really nothing negative apart from the noise from the road during the night which seemed to be an enjoyed circuit for "racers" (I forgot my ear plugs but this would have solved this issue).
