The location of the hostel is great. Close to the main train station, close to the city center. You can basically walk everywhere. And close to the best ice cream shop we've tried around the city (Figle). Very friendly and helpful staff. Comfortable beds and the cleanest shared bathrooms I've ever seen in a hostel. Nice courtyard for breakfasts and dinners. We had windows to the main street, as far as I understood one of the busiest in the city, but we were so knocked out that we've slept with open windows with no problems :D

The kitchen could use some towels. It felt stupid to leave the sink surroundings wet after us, I don't like it eve at home, but maybe I just didn't look well enough ;)

Has all the things you would need for a short stay. A kitchen were it is possible to make breakfast, shared bathrooms and parking. Great place for exploring the city, the center is very close. Near the room there was a shared fridge and a kettle.

The kitchen, room and the bathrooms were not really clean, the bathrooms almost always had a puddle in the middle of the room so flip flops was a must. The kitchen utensils all needed to be cleaned again before use. One really big flaw of the room was that it is near a very busy street and it is really noisy, also we couldn't sleep with closed windows because it was too hot.

In general, our experiences while staying in the hostel is quite good. The person that welcoming us in the front desk is very helpful with us. The whole facilities inside the hostel are either good enough or at least, reaching the standard for a place to stay for a short period.

The only issue that we encounter during our period of stay is the room can become quite cold during the night, because the heating system is not properly work in 100% capacity. If they able to fix this issue, then it'll be perfect place to stay as a budget traveler.

Everything was great. However, our room was on the garden floor and close to the common area. We couldn’t sleep because of the people sitting at the resting spot under our window — maybe that area could be relocated. Other than that, the staff were very attentive and kind, and the rooms were very clean and comfortable. It was also quite close to the city center.

I was pleasantly surprised by the room and other conveniences. The room was spacious and clean, the shared bathrooms were newly renovated and clean. Also, there were two bathrooms in our block, so there were no queues. We could make hot drinks in the kitchen and there was a small fridge. There is also a shared kitchen where you can cook and where breakfast is served but we did not use it. The receptionists are very kind and helpful. The check-in time is quite late but you can leave your suitcases in the hotel.

The hotel is very central, near to the old town, restaurants, shops... Check in/out was easy. Good communication. The facility (toilets, bathrooms) are newly reconstructed. Very clean! Towels for 5 zloty at the reception. Beds are OK for good sleep. I can fully recommend the hotel. Very cheap and ok for sleep over.

The room smelled slightly like cigarettes/ashtray. Probably because of the carpets or chairs (Beds were ok)??? But it was acceptable. Not very strong..In Poland nearly everybody smokes. The smell is ubiquitous. The window faced the main street with a lot of traffic. Despite this, we were able to sleep well (with ear plugs in my case).

We had the room with the backyard view and private bathroom. The room was old-fashioned but clean and comfortable. There was a kettle so we could make a cup of tea. Parking was against the fee. The hostel is so near to the old town! The lady in the reception was waiting for us to open the gate to the parking place at 1 am. Really good communication. It was our 3rd stay. If you are sensitive against the. noise, try to avoid "town view" rooms. Those rooms have windows against the main road.

Bit cold in the bathroom (we arrived at night).

Staff was really great, they even accept staying longer for half an hour to grab our stuff. Another great thing was bathroom. Shower was better than in my own house. Next I have to appreciate the place, 5 minute walk to se the old town is something amazing in this prize range.

It was really great for the price. Only one problem we had was smell. It was like old grandma house. Probably because it's an old building but even opening up windows for a whole day did nothing. Another thing, maybe it's just me being pety but mattresses were very hard.

We are really happy with Red Carpet Hostel. Location is very good - walking distance to the centre. Staff was very helpful. Our room was a bit small, but it overlooked a backyard and was very quiet at night. The water cooker in the room is nice adition (but there is no fridge). The bathroom was clean and good size. I would return to this acomodation-it was good value for money.

My 10months old daughter felt comfortable there, that is the most important thing. Our window was overlooking the main road. There was constant (white) noise that had her sleep very well. It can be a problem for some, however. It wasn’t a problem for me, I used the earplugs and slept fine.

Some toilets were nice and modern, others rather ancient. There were two tiny kitchens with a total of one tea spoon, one plate and a couple of cups. Only on the second day a lovely cleaning lady told me about the fully equipped kitchen downstairs..
