The ambience of the hostel was very nice and with a unique style. There was a cozy common room where you could play or watch TV. The room was nice and big but warm even with the cold outside (mid november), and you can ask for duvets. The bathroom was modern and clean, and the receptionists were very kind. The hostel was well located, although you have to walk some to get to the center, the neighborhood has supermarkets and public service nearby.

The place doesn't have an elevator and I wished I had a shelf in the shower to put the soap/shampoo but that's all the bad things I can think of

Nice and clean rooms, just a bit noisy when you get a room facing the street. However, that can't be avoided, it's a big city and of course there's noise. If you are sensitive to that, ask for a room facing the backyard. Overhead reading-lights for reading in bed - always happy to see those! They don't supply towels and soap, hence bring your own. Safe for valuables at reception, lockers in your room (bring your own lock or borrow one for a deposit), which is a big plus. Nice staffers, always trying their best, can't complain.

A bit noisy at times but all in all, good value for the money!

Hostel Deco was quiet as well as situated in an ideal location close to the Old Town and other local amenities. Hostel staff were helpful and available 24/7. Everything was in order and facilities were as we wanted them to be. Room interiors were also very pretty. Can’t have any complaints about the place really - would happily stay here again!

Only minor inconvenience was that the showers have to be manully activated every 30 seconds or so by the push of a button to allow the water to comtinue running, although this is next to no trouble at all.

Great hostel located in the renovated old building. It still retains the originality of the era, including the bedroom. We stay in private room named "Olga" that has a balcony overlooking the back into the green. It feels like you were living in different era. Love it so much. The hostel has communal functioning kitchen, free laundry and drying area, backyard to chill and also communal lounge. The location is perfect, just under 20 minutes walk to train station/mall and old town. We didn't use any public transport at all while staying for a week i. Kraków. Would definitely stay again here if we comes back visiting.

The receptions. We met so many of different receptionist but hardly anyone friendly or smiley. Most if them are "cold"

I stayed for a week, I had a great time. I had the pigeon room, very cozy and with a nice view from a small window. The staff were always kind, especially Silvia who gave me lots of advice. The hostel is in a good location, the city center can be reached on foot but the neighborhood is well served by public transport.

Unfortunately the room was on the fifth floor without a lift, but I would stay there again.

Very easy and quick communication with the staff. One of us had to check in around midnight and the other in the early morning hours, staff made the process very easy for us. Hostel is accesible by foot from the train station, streets and area seems very safe even at night. It was quiet. Lovely decorations, otherwise it is a basic accomodation - it is as advertised and corresponds the price.

This was my second stay. The staff was very helpful in finding my passport because I had left it in the bathroom. I had a very difficult guest the night before. It affected my sleep. Jana was very helpful and gentle. I had prepare for my visa and she helped prepare my documents to submit. In the summer they're not so many school groups so I end up meeting very smart people, very interesting and i always learn something from them. they're interested in history or culture or maybe travel or exercise in the nearby mountains. It's what I expect from hostels of the older years where you met people and you made friends and you had interesting conversations and learned something mostly from people all over. Visiting Auschwitz it's really very emotional event and to be able to discuss with others is quite special. And helpful.

Under beds is dusty at Broadway room. Open doors let in smoke from the garden. Harder for sensitive people. Pola room had some broken lights and not enough outlets for chargers.

The staff was really friendly and polite especially a girl I sat with and met and the overall experience was really nice.

The bed had springs inside and they were kind of poking out bothering us, also the two pillows were very flat and your head was sinking inside.
