The hotel was terrific. The staff helped me right away to book Excursions for my mother and me to Sintra and Fatima. They also were able to have our room ready before 15:00 and allowed us to check out by 13:00 instead of 12:00. The breakfast was excellent every morning, and the staff was very friendly and welcoming. The room was clean and comfortable. The ATM and metro were in front of the hotel. The hop on and off was within five minutes ' walking distance from the hotel. There was no noise during the night. We had a good night's sleep. The airport was about 15 minutes away by taxi, which was 25 euros.

Location, positioned directly next to the metro, easy to get around with good links to the airport. Nice neighbourhood with cafes and small supermarket nearby. Out of the way of the bustle of the city centre yet just a half hour walk or quick metro ride to all the sights. Room was spacious, clean and comfortable and staff were friendly and helpful. Buffet style breakfast varied and plentiful. They even gave us a packed breakfast on the morning we left as we had to check out before breakfast.

Positioned on busy main road so unable to have windows open due to traffic noise. Room had air conditioning though so not a problem and noise not an issue with windows closed.

The room was fine, with a comfortable bed. The hotel's location was central, with great shopping nearby. Friendly front-desk staff who offered tips on what to see and how to get there. The entrance to the metro station was literally outside the door. There were some good restaurants within easy walking distance as well.

Whoever cleaned the room must have emptied a bottle of air freshener, as the air in the room was unbreathable. Luckily, the window to the room opened, so we were able to air the room eventually. The bad news was that the seal around the window was broken, so quite a bit of noise got in, even when the window was shut.

The receptionists were very kind and friendly, especially the lady with the glasses. The rooms were cleaned daily and always spotless!

One morning, a member of our group wasn’t feeling well and didn’t come down for breakfast, so we took a small amount of food for them. Unfortunately, a tall brunette waitress with glasses started watching us very closely and told us that this wasn’t allowed. She kept eyeing every bite we took, which felt uncomfortable and unnecessarily strict. Her behavior came across as rude and quite toxic. Also, if you’re thinking of using the jacuzzi, I wouldn’t recommend it. It clearly hadn’t been cleaned for a long time — when we turned it on, pieces of mold came out into the water. Very disappointing and unhygienic.

The staff is very helpful and friendly. The location of the hotel is excellent for tourist - it is in a quiet residential neighborhood. Metro station was right outside and buses to all locations around Lisbon are at the corner of the street. Room was smaller than we pictured but well designed. Bed was comfortable. Breakfast (included in our rate) was abundant and very good. We had a great experience! PS the lobby bar is generous with the drink sizes and less expensive than any other place.

The elevators were very small. With a suitcase, only one person fit.

The good : Room was very nice and clean. Good aircon and nice view from 4th floor. Two convenient lifts in the hotel. Nice bar and nice breakfast. Ms. Vania was very helpful and very kind. Front desk staff were helpful.

The bad : There was no milk provided for tea and coffee making facility. There was no key provided for room safety locker. One day my friends got stuck up in one of the lifts as it stopped working and it was scary for them. One staff Ms Patricia in the breakfast room was extremely rude ! She was being rude to all of us. We complained about her behaviour to the front desk. She did not even apologise and only shrugged her shoulders when asked for something. She only pointed at her badge when asked for her name, without saying her name. In customer facing industry, this is not acceptable. Please beware of Ms. Patricia's behaviour.

I was offered a complimentary room upgrade, which was a very pleasant surprise. Additionally, the hotel provided free parking for a few hours, which was a thoughtful gesture. Overall, the reception staff was exceptionally friendly and helpful.

Unfortunately, the hotel has seen better days, and some visible defects require renovation or refreshing. This was particularly noticeable in the bathroom, where moisture on the walls and ceiling detracted from the overall experience

All was just amazing, the location, the romantic package room,the breakfast,the staffs, especially all of them at the reception, a special thanks to Ana,she is just amazing, she is so helpful. The metro and bus station is next to the hotel. I highly recomand this hotel.

The only thing I didn't liked was that the cleaning staff removed the room keys which I left in the wall of the room,so that my phone could charge. When I came back to my room my phone was not charged because while she came to clean the room, the cleaning staff took the key off and took it with her. Thus my phone was not charge at all and I was left with only 1 room key instead if 2 keys. Another thing the cleaning staff did she throw one of my cream which was on the bathroom tablet. I find this disgusting she should not throw anything else apart from those in the bin. I had 1 nearly empty bottle of water on the floor,that also she took away.

The breakfast was great! The location was near the metro and bus line. There were plenty of restaurants and cafes as well as grocery stores to buy personal needs and little snacks.

Our room was on the sixth floor. It was humid and hot when we checked in. We tried to turn the AC on, but it wasn't working. My husband spoke to the staff to have the AC turn on, but they won't at first. There was a heated conversation between my husband and one of the staff. We were about to check out from the hotel at that point when the AC was turned on. I believe if the hotel states there are heating and air-conditioning that I should be able to utilize them for my comfort.

We had a great time at the America Diamonds Hotel. Location is decent. Outside your doorstep is the metro which takes you into the main attractions and busy areas very easily. Taxis also were cheap (using the Bolt app). Breakfast was lovely and had a good selection of fruit and pastries. Room was lovely with a nice view outside and was cleaned regularly. I had previously communicated with the hotel about surprising my boyfriend for his birthday. The staff were so lovely and handled everything with ease and grace! He was delighted with the surprise with some bubbles and cake! I asked for later check out which was provided with an extra cost but was still cheaper than expected. Would use this hotel again! Very good value for your money.

The rooms aren’t very sound proof and you could hear people in the rooms beside you and above you.
