We had a truly enjoyable stay at the hotel. The staff were friendly, welcoming, and professional throughout our visit. Check-in was smooth, and we felt well taken care of from the moment we arrived. The design and atmosphere of the hotel were beautiful modern, stylish, and relaxing. Common areas were well-maintained and inviting, and the overall ambiance created a pleasant and comfortable environment. Amenities were thoughtfully provided, and everything was clean and well organized. Breakfast was fresh, varied, and delicious, with plenty of options to choose from. The dining area was spacious, and service was attentive. We also appreciated the facilities the pool area was lovely, and everything felt well-managed. The only downside was the layout of our room. While it was nicely designed and clean, the functionality wasn’t ideal. There was a large window facing directly onto the street, which made the room feel exposed and less private. It also affected our comfort level, especially in the evenings. Some layout elements could have been more practical for everyday use. That said, this small issue didn’t overshadow our overall positive experience. We would definitely consider staying here again and would recommend the hotel to others — with a small note to check the room type in advance.

The moment you arrive there is a relaxed and welcoming atmosphere, staff are attentive and friendly. The room was beautiful, immaculate and funky decor gives a home feel (books, a mini fridge and coffee machine) married with hotel luxury. The honesty bars and sitting area outside in the courtyard, the rooftop and the library are all peaceful and help you unwind. Location is great to be out of the hustle and bustle but easily accessible to walk into town. Breakfast is delicious and the team in the restaurant can't do enough to make sure you enjoy your time there. We loved it!

A Gym would have been perfect.

Browns Avenue hotel in Lisbon was an absolute delight to stay at. Its location is perfectly balanced between closeness to the hustle of the city and its attractions and public transport, but also nestled in a beautiful and quiet neighbourhood. Our room was faultless and equipped with everything you’d need for your stay (we stayed for four nights), with a Smeg kettle and fridge, coffee machine (with tea, coffee and sugar), hairdryer, iron and board, robes and slippers, sound system and radio, a safe, two case racks and plenty of storage. Our room was spotlessly cleaned everyday and the bathroom was immaculate, both were beautifully styled but also practical. Staff couldn’t do enough to help, they were all very friendly and helpful. We would absolutely recommend having breakfast as part of your stay. The variety and choice was exceptional, with seasonal fresh fruit and berries, pastries, breads, meats and scrambled eggs, granola with nuts and seeds, juices and coffees all available buffet style. Eggs in any style could be made to order too. Joanna on the breakfast team greeted us every morning and was always super helpful and friendly.

The hotel is very well situated near the center of the town, walking distance from anything. It is very modern and the rooms are delightful and well thought, quite large. Loved the complimentary bottle of champagne and wine that we found in the room. Nice and comfy beds, cool bathroom, lots of atention to details and room design, with smeg mini fridge,marshall speakers and stand alone bath tub in the room! We loved also the rooftop terrace with cozy swimming pool surrounded by cactus and lots of exotic plants. Breakfast is amazing, staff very friendly and welcoming. Bar, restaurant and chilling areas also very nice. Overall experience exeeds expectations. A trully amazing stay, we totally recommend.

Location great, about a 10minute walk to main square. Staff were wonderful. Breakfasts beautiful, lots of choice and the hotel room exceeded our expectation. We attended a jazz night in the hotel during our stay followed by a delicious supper which added to our stay Great cocktails!

Work going on at a neighbouring hotel so a crane and staff working above the rooftop bar and swimming pool so not overly private but couldn't be helped and not hotels fault.

The room is not big but interior and accessories were excellent. The retro style room is a wonderful idea, gives you feeling you are visiting your antes. The shelves in the room were fool of exceptional books. All atmosphere is cozy and happy. Hotel staff is not just professional , very friendly and nice. We had few breakfasts and dinners in the restaurant and enjoy it very much. The disign of the restaurant is elegant and very thoughtful, greenery and light created the romantic atmosphere. The wait staff well dressed, clean and have perfect attitude,. They treat you with respect and hospitality. The menue is nice and taste dishes prepared to satisfy. Cocktails were pretty and taste. Breakfasts were also wonderful experience. Everything were tasty even fruits in the winter. We are definitely will be back to this hotel. Thank you to all staff for professionalism and hospitality.

The rug in our room needed a professional cleaning.

I love the jazz night, as a solo traveler it’s great to have some entertainment actually within the hotel. Location is a walk away from some of the sights, but I loved this as I was able to see more of the city and get my steps in. Love the decor of the rooms, usually stay in The Hoxton in city’s like this, but have to say, this was better. The cool touches of the radio and the free bottle of wine shows how customer focused they are in making your stay pleasurable.

Nothing, everything was excellent.

The hotel is in a quiet street but is also so close to the Main Street that takes you down to the shops, bars and river so is a perfect location. The hotel staff are amazing especially the breakfast crew. Always smiling and happy to provide you with any alternative food that is not put out but is available. Honesty bars are placed at various floors which is a nice touch and the rooftop plunge pool is very welcome in a city centre!

Firstly, the location was fantastic. It was right in the centre of town and very accessible for transport and food places, the Hotel front office staff was the best. They were so helpful and very kind in asssisting us and also recommended us many nice and superb restaurants. They even helped us make reservation for our train tickets out of Lisbon. We will aslo upgraded upon our return. The staff were perfect. Thank you very much for the wonderful hospitality and service.

I liked the design of the hotel & felt boutique. We were incredibly lucky to get an upgrade to a stunning room on he 6th floor which was fabulous. The bed was super comfy and the whole suite very nice (605). We also had a welcome drink for the bar downstairs and breakfast was very nice.

The location is a bit further out, but quieter being on a road back from the main one into the city centre. The pool area is a little small and being winter the sun was low but it was nice up there and an honesty bar.
