The location is fantastic, not far from metro, restaurants, shopping. The breakfast is the best I have seen at any hotel, lots to choose from. At every other hotel, I complain the breakfast does not provide plant milk (I can't drink real milk) but here at Dom Carlos Liberty, they had rice milk, so I could eat a bowl of cereal, excellent! Note: photo is not the hotel, but a beautiful building a block from the hotel; of course just about all building in this area are beautiful.

Room is the smallest room I have ever been in. Perhaps other rooms at this property are bigger, but not this room.

The gym was nice if a bit small, a barbell would be great. The breakfast is super tasty and stays open all morning which is brilliant! The room is clean and the cleaning staff and receptionists were incredibly nice and helpful. The check out is late enough to not be in a hurry! Overall recommended!!

Details: I think making people pay for the bottle of water in the room is really bad. It never happened to me in a good hotel like this one. No tea or coffee available in the room. I did not find an iron for my clothes, which I think should be there, and the shampoo should be another product from the shower gel. The two in one is just good for the body and dries the hair. A toothpaste would have been great (even on request). Actual advice: The gym should be 24 hours, but particularly it should be open early in the morning and surely before 8 am. Bad issue: The hotel was very loud at night, and with people having sex.

I stayed with my 2 adult sons. The hotel was really nice.in a good location for metro station, walking into town or getting a taxi. The staff were very polite and helpful.The rooms were lovely and clean and had very efficient quiet air conditioning which was useful at night. The breakfasts were really good- plentiful with lots of choice- lovely bread, cakes and fruit were my favourites. Thank you

It would have been nice to be able to make a hot drink eg cup of tea in your room but this facility is not available. However you can do this downstairs in the lounge

Great location just near the metro, bars and restaurants, designer shops Gucci etc and 15 mins walk to the centre of Lisbon. Hotel is a more business class design but most guests were tourists. Staff are excellent really helpful and knowledgeable of the area. Hotel very clean, small Gym a bonus Breakfast was very good too., and had 24hr honesty bar available too Easy to get to from airport using the metro.

hard to think. The only things would be the room size is a bit small for a week's stay but manageable, and the gym is very hot being on the top floor

The location was excellent; it was centrally located and close to the metro station. The room was quite good, particularly given the price/location, although the bathroom was a bit small. I have no experience with ceiling air conditioners, but I hope it will perform well during hot seasons. The breakfast was very enjoyable. Overall, I liked my stay there.

The overall service was really good. Towels and pillow cases were changed daily. We had a good sized room with a large closet and mini bar in it. Breakfast was good and there was a lot of choice. The hotel is just a 5 minute walk from a metro station (blue line). On the other side of the street there are 2 restaurants that people can eat at for dinner. AC system works well.

We were on the 5th floor and they gave us a room right in front of the elevator, even though it was low season and there were probably other rooms available :( I also recommend replacing the windows. The noises from the street were so loud that it seemed like the window was open. This really affects the quality of sleep. I asked for a nice view from the room when I booked about a month ago, but didn’t get it. It’s okay, just a minor inconvenience

Breakfast was very nice. Selection was good. The front desk was very friendly and helpful. We seldom waited for an elevator. Room was quiet. It was a few stops on the metro from the center of the attractions which worked out fine. Short walk to metro.

The room was a bit cramped. You could barely fit 2 carry-on’s. As it was we put one on the floor under the desk, and by one on the floor next to the desk. There is no luggage rack. Anyone traveling with a larger piece of luggage would have great difficulty getting around. There was good shelving in the double closet. The bathroom was quite small as are many European bathrooms. There was a small walk-in shower.

October 6 was our first night in Spain, we were greeted by such friendly staff. It started a wonderful time there. We would start each day with their full breakfast buffet, and used it as a base for our long walks around Lisbon.

We are comfortable walking to our locations, and the weather was nice while we were there. However, it is not located in the more historic, “touristy” part of town. Worked fine for us, but the weather could have put a damper on our time and location.

Convenient location. Walking distance to some nice restaurant choices. Nice workout room on the top floor of the hotel.

I received a very strange, email that appeared to come from booking.com and the Dom Carlos. It said that I was in danger of losing my reservation if I did not click on this link. I did not. When I logged into the booking.com site, it was clear that there was no issue and that this message was phishing. When I reported this to Dom Carlos, I then got many emails warning me not to respond to these types of emails. I don't think that the Dom Carlos was involved in the phishing but they didn't have to keep sending me so many messages about this when I was the one that reported it to them.

Good location, a few steps from a beautiful central avenue, easy to walk around and explore the city. The room was very clean. Nice design with wooden furniture. Nice breakfast, looks a bit poor at first sight, but it has everything you need. The granola and pastel de natas were tasty!

The bathroom was tiny. Everything was well functioning, but still, extremely tiny. In order to flush the toilet, I had to hold a bit down the toilet cover every time, it was a bit uncomfortable. The corridor was also extremely narrow, about 2-3 steps from my room to the elevator.
