As shown in pictures property is mainly just sleep and shower. Rooms were cleaned daily with fresh towels so that definitely is a plus. Central location so access to metro and bus was very easy. Staff was very kind and very helpful with suggestions on places to visit, getting us a can etc.

No facilities but it was as expected, written. It’s on the main road so light sleepers will find it a challenge as sounds from cars, ambulances and police sirens are common through the night and early morning. The corridors were dark due to the motion sensor lights and I found it very unsafe when walking in at night.

The location was pretty good, a few minutes away from the center by metro. You can easily walk to the city center. The check in went smooth. The staff helped us store our luggages for a few hours after our check-out.

The room is pretty small. The bathroom is tiny, barely can fit in there. Was a bit dirty too unfortunately. The sink is also too small. Also the whole room has just a bed and a small wardrobe. There is so much noise from the outside when opening the window. If the window stays closed, it will be too hot inside. Other than that, we received the flat located next to the exit door, which was a little disturbing because of the people passing by and opening that door. We were always asking ourselves if someone enters in our room.

Very spacious and comfortable rooms with complete blackout blinds. The location was great. Even though they don’t serve breakfast, there is a very nice bakery downstairs. There are also a few nice restaurants on that street with local cuisine and a supermarket. Walking distance to the river. We drove to Lisbon and parked on the underground carpark just a 2 minute walk from the property. There is a lift at the property. The staff is very friendly and gave us a few tips on best transports to take.

You can still hear some road noise until 22:00h because of the local traffic but afterwards is very quiet.

The accommodation met the description, pictures and my expectations. The room was delivered in an orderly and quick manner, the staff was friendly. Stayed for 3 nights. Kettle, tea and coffee were in the room. Mini fridge too. The room was cleaned daily. Air conditioning was available for heating. The room overlooked the street, which was quite busy. With the windows open this can be disturbing for some, but with the windows closed we were not disturbed at night. Bus stop, subway nearby. Restaurants, breakfast places and shops within walking distance. On departure, suitcases can be left. We did, everything was fine.

There was no place to hang towels in the room (102). Upon arrival, the room was too hot and the air was stale, which was quickly resolved by airing the room. Of course, there are some areas in the room that show wear and tear, which need to be renovated from time to time (e.g. the bottom of the furniture under the minibar, cracked shower tray that was repaired with glue)

We really enjoyed our stay at Vila Nova Guesthouse. Even before arriving, the staff has been very kind in answering all of our questions via the chat. We arrived before the check in time and they gave us the option to get an available room (superior) with a 20€ upgrade. The bed was comfortable, the room was big and it also came with a small balcony. The bathroom had a very big shower and there was also the bidet. Going to the city centre only took something like 15 minutes walking and the neighbourhood is safe, there’s an underground 100 meters from it and there are many restaurants and posh boutiques. A positive note for the cleaning, everyday the room has been carefully cleaned by the cleaning ladies. Would definitely come back

The location. The guesthouse placed in the square Marques de Pombal. It took as around 20min by foot to the ocean shore. The room was clean.

The window of our room was faced the vnitroblock. The pick-up pipe from the restaurant downstairs worked 24/7. 1st night we had to close the window to eliminate the noise of the pipe, but it was too hot to sleep without the fresh air. So the rest of the days we slept with opened-window. We peeped the rooms which whindows faced the street and they seemed to be ever bigger then our. If I would have a choice i would go for that room with windows on the main street. The service is coming every day, the staff is helpful and kind. Overall we liked the place and would like to come again.

Cozy and well organized guesthouse! The staff were incredibly friendly and helped with everything needed. They also helped with storage of luggage before/after check out. Location is good in a safe area close to public transports and cafes/restaurants even though it is a bit of a walk from the main tourist attractions. Beds were a bit hard and the pillows were like made of stone. Very thin walls (as everywhere in Portugal) so bring earplugs. Small bathroom that needed an upgrade. All in all, I’d recommend it and the staff deserves a golden star!

I stayed in a single room. The price-quality ratio is excellent. Very good location, just below and in the surroundings there are several cafes where you can have breakfast, lunch or dinner. Very clean and the reception staff very friendly. The rooms have wi-fi, air conditioning, hot water and a safe. The bed is comfortable and there is cleaning service. I have no complaints. Just keep in mind that this accommodation does not include meals. In my case, it was just what I was looking for, as I wanted to try Portuguese cuisine in the surrounding area. I will definitely stay there again when I return to Lisbon. Fiquei em quarto individual. A relação qualidade-preço é excelente. Muito boa localização, logo abaixo e na envolvente existem vários cafés onde pode tomar o pequeno-almoço, almoçar ou jantar. Muito limpo e o pessoal da recepção muito simpático. Os quartos dispõem de wi-fi, ar condicionado, água quente e cofre. A cama é confortável e há serviço de limpeza. Não tenho queixas. Basta ter em conta que este alojamento não inclui refeições. No meu caso era exactamente o que procurava, pois queria experimentar a cozinha portuguesa na zona envolvente. Ficarei lá novamente com certeza quando voltar a Lisboa.

Location is just 2 minutes away to the nearest metro that connects to Rossio station and transfer to the Airport. There is a bus stop opposite the guesthouse that goes to Belem Tower / Pasteis de Belem which is very convenient for me. The bathroom is clean with the basic amenities. Breakfast in the corner bakery is superb.

Weak to no wifi in the room. They said there was an issue with the wifi when I arrived. Hope it’s fixed by now. The window in my room cannot be closed too.

Great location, very close to Parque Eduardo VII, which was great for one of the Christmas markets. Also very convenient from the airport bus 744 terminus point and the metro stations. The room was very quiet, no street noise at all and was clean. Bed was comfortable. Good air conditioning. Bathroom was small, like the room, but complimentary toiletries, which looked to be good quality (although I didn’t test them. No problem checking out at 3.15am and member of staff rang for a taxi for me.

The room was very small and only had a very narrow window. The only plug socket I could find was actually hidden behind the wardrobe, so had to move the wardrobe to charge phone etc. would have like a kettle for a morning brew as no drinks available in the hotel.
