We found the location of the hotel excellent. Their cleanliness was second to none. Our room was comfortable and very modern. The breakfast was delicious and there was a great selection of food to choose from.

We found the front desk employees to be very unfriendly. We barely got a hello or goodbye out of them each time we entered or left the hotel. They made us feel quite unwelcome. When we checked out we asked could we leave our bags and we were made to feel like that was an issue. The staff came across as being quite miserable.

It was very modern and comfortable. The staff were lovely and kindly decorated the room free of charge for a birthday we were there to celebrate. The twin room we had was spacious.

The room I booked stated in the description it has a private bathroom and terrace however this was misleading. I specifically booked this property for a balcony/terrace area in our room. However the terrace area is a communal area so be careful if booking as apparently the rooms with balcony need to state that in the hearing which again was unclear as those rooms weren’t available at the time I booked so didn’t know there was a difference given the room description.

Breakfast was very good and plentiful; 24x7 check-in desk; luggage storage to accommodate late flights after check-out; staff was English-speaking, very helpful giving service with a smile :) Hotel is a 5-min walk from Marquis De Pombal circus with easy public transport access and even day-excursion pick-ups

tea & coffee facilities in room were rather limited although we were given a free cappuchino and some extra facilities esp when we arrived late from sightseeing

The location of the hotel is excellent, just a 5-minute walk from both metro and bus stations, making it very convenient for exploring Lisbon. The area is pleasant and quiet. The breakfast is varied and offers a good selection, though it tends to repeat the same options every day.

The room was quite small, which made it feel a bit cramped. Overall, it was a good stay, especially for its convenient location and accessibility.

This property is walking distance to Rossio Station, HOHO bus stop and has supermarkets and restaurants nearby. The staff were wonderful and the hotel spotlessly clean. The room and bed were very comfortable and the breakfast was very good. We thoroughly recommend this hotel, and thought it was good value for money.

The room was big enough for a solo traveller, if you stay for 3 or 4 days. Breakfast was really very great and tasty. The Location of the hotel is a little bit outside of the center, but near enough to walk there within 15 to 20 minutes. Metro and some restaurants are just 5 Minutes away.

The bathroom was very small and unfortunately there was no space to store your bathroom accessories. The room was quite big enough for a solo traveller, if you stay for 3 or 4 days. Breakfast was really very great and tasty. The Location of the hotel is a little bit outside of the center, but near enough to walk there within 15 minutes. The sink was way too small, nearly impossible to wash your hands or face without getting the floor wet. A little bit more storage room would have been great.

The hotel has an excellent location – even though it may not seem very central on the map, it’s actually very easy to reach the city center, even on foot. The surrounding area is lively and full of content, with plenty of cafes and restaurants just around the corner. There are also metro and bus stations nearby, making it easy to get to any part of the city. The rooms are clean, nicely decorated, and equipped with everything you might need. Breakfast is great, with a good variety of food so you can choose something different each day. The staff is friendly and always ready to help. I highly recommend this place for a comfortable and convenient stay.

A very modern hotel, located not far from Rue de Liberdade (a tree-lined road with designer shops and lovely cafes) leading to Marquês de Pombal, statue and Metro. Wonderful, helpful staff, who were very friendly (Rita & Catalina, thank you). Well-designed room with private shower room, kettle, fridge plus tea & coffee. We asked for a balcony which is on the top floor at the rear, no view as they overlook neighbouring blocks of flats but good to have some outside space. Breakfast was sufficient although they need to top up the food trays a little faster as many guests were waiting some time for bread etc. Overall a lovely stay, thank you.

I had an exceptional experience during my 7-night stay at Empire Marquês Hotel in Lisbon (8–15 August). The hotel is super comfortable, clean, and ideally located, but what made my stay truly memorable was the kindness and professionalism of the staff. A special thank you to Georgi, Rodrigo, Caterina (Front Office Manager), Arnaldo, and Dominiel (Night Auditor) for their constant help, warm welcome, and excellent service. They went above and beyond to make me feel at home and ensured that everything was perfect throughout my stay. I highly recommend this hotel for anyone visiting Lisbon—it’s not only about the great facilities, but also about the amazing people who make your stay unforgettable.

The staff were friendly, able to answer questions and provide information. We needed a very early morning taxi and Jorge arranged for breakfast boxes which was lovely and unexpected. The room was very clean and housekeeping staff did a great job. The air conditioning was very good. There was a small fridge and tea/coffee facilties that were perfect for what we needed. Breakfast was exactly as shown and there wasn't a time when options weren't available.

The room was quite small and would have benefited from having a few more places to hang things, eg hooks, so floor space could have been kept clear. However I may have not realised the dimensions when booking so this isn't a fault as such.
