Very clean, lovely staff and great communication. Large lift to get to 5th floor. Rooftop view was amazing and they had a shared kitchen to cook in that was kept very tidy and clean. Room had all you needed for a good couple of days stay! They even had the multi-port wall plugs either side of the bed which was great when you have lots of electronics to charge. Plenty of public transport nearby, supermarket and restaurants.

The hotel is roughly a 30min walk to the main part of town, so public transport is a must (although it was a lovely walk down the main street). The room we had was very small, but they do have larger rooms it was just the one we were given.

Safe place for a solo traveler; this is a guest house so much like a hostel, but private room with a bathroom. Super friendly staff, and helpful. Great value and location! Very walkable to cafés, park, shopping, etc.

The building is shared with other hostels/occupancies. I’d suggest signage at the first level; maybe a directory? I was unsure I was in the right place, although there is a sign outside. I think a sign inside stating to either use stairs or elevator to the 5th floor would be helpful. Otherwise I was pretty unsure/unnerved since the building doesn’t have reception as you enter.

Room was very clean and had a nice bathroom, espresso machine (bonus for me!), thee maker, hair drier. Good bed. Quiet. Location was perfect for me close to Pombal metro station. Good airco. Staff were friendly. Small desk and chair. The price is reasonable for Lisbon.

I had the single room and it was really small. Room was on the inside so no view, but therefore it was quiet and I prefer that for sleep. I knew it was going to be small and since I was only sleeping there I have no problem with this. There are bigger rooms to book as well if you so prefer.

Great location. Spacious room. The staff were friendly. Very clean place, shower worked perfectly. Even had a fridge in the room as well as Aircon if needed. There is a lift to the floor.

I liked the friendly staff! And the room was cosy. So nice to have a balcony and a fridge in the room! Also there is a shared kitchen, which is convinient. I'm extremely satisfied with what I got for so low price.

I liked my stay, but you should be aware of couple of things: 1. The rooms are at the 6 floor. And sometimes the elevator doesn't work because other guests didn't close it properly. If you are young and healthy it's not a problem at all. But if you can't climb the stairs it can be a problem. 2. No soundproof. I was awaken by the other guests in the middle of the night. If you have good earplugs or you can ignore the noise this is also not a problem. But if you are sensitive then it again can be a problem.

The room was small but very cosy and clean. The bed was good. The staff are friendly. The first room I stayed in was very noisy due to the street and construction outside. Then I asked to move. They put us in a very cosy and silent room. It was nice.

I, in fact, stayed 3 nights. Reception staff were charming and friendly...so nice to be greeted with a smile and a little chat!! Very homely ( in a good way) and decorated with love and a great eye for colour!! Rooms had names rather than numbers ... Tea/ coffee making facilities/ bar fridge were very appreciated. Well equipped kitchen available as well! Location was superb.. Close to the metro, 2 supermarkets and some restaurants. One of my favourite stays in Portugal. I will return ...

Absolutely nothing!!

The room had everything one could possibly need.Loacation was ideal for getting around.Cleaniness was to a high standard.Very happy with all the above .To add high appreciation for the honesty of Casa Belmonte staff as they went above and beyond as I left behind my wallet with id card ,cash and other trinkets on the day of my flight leaving the country.They contacted me asap and have returned these items to my home in Ireland via the post that I am grateful for.A saying goes if you leave something behind it means you are returning and that I will be.Thank you Casa Belmonte,Dave and all the staff

Excellent location near the city center in a very nice environment. Bus stop in front of the hotel, metro in the immediate vicinity. Clean and tidy room with fridge and balcony to relax with coffee. The bed was very comfortable. The staff is very pleasant and ready to help in everything. There is also a shared kitchen, but we didn't use it. After check-out, you can leave your luggage at the reception and it will be kept for you until your departure. There are supermarkets and restaurants in the immediate vicinity. We were very satisfied with our stay and highly recommend this hotel.

The bed was comfortable, the AC and window kept the room cool, and the hot water always worked. My partner worked in the evenings from her laptop and appreciated the desk setup. We got some groceries so it was nice to have a mini fridge. It was helpful to have a common room with some utensils and tools like a bottle opener, and the washing machine was nice to have too! The best part was the roof access- the view was incredible!! It was great to be so close to things too- we walked and rode the bus.

There was a bad smell that came from the bathroom in the evenings especially, we couldn't tell what was causing it or how to stop it.
