I loved the room. It was a good size and felt so comfortable. Having the laundry facilities after a week long work trip was very helpful, as was the heated radiators in the bathroom (especially as towels weren't changed out every day). I stayed for 9 nights and room was cleaned once. This was fine by me (you could request more frequent cleaning), I requested free extra toilet roll, towels, laundry pods etc from reception as needed. Having a big fridge and cooking facilities was appreciated too (though we only used it a couple of times). I had to get work done on one day and the wifi was pretty good (not perfect), I liked that it was a secure personal connection. The pool area got busy quickly, but actual pool never felt too busy. It is a perfect space to relax after a busy day of exploring Lisbon and I was very grateful for it. None of the other guests were too rowdy. The coffee bar was full of very friendly staff, as was reception, and their coffee was a really good start to each day. I enjoyed having the Whatsapp option to message staff with questions I had. The gym was small but serviceable, good for getting a quick work out in. The little museum bit and historic touches all over the hotel area was a really nice addition. I loved the location, it was up the hill by about 20 minutes from the centre of Lisbon (or a 5 minute metro and 2 minute walk). It felt a bit removed from the busyness of the centre and was next to a big park on a hill with a fantastic view (and a calisthetics gym on top left corner). It was ideal for us - it is also where all the tour buses seem to start their routes so very easy for that if interested.

I arrived on the Friday evening and was tired and hungry, the restaurant was full with a 45 minute wait. I asked the staff member at the door for recommendations of places near by and she quite rudely told me she didn't know of anywhere. I never ended up eating there (though I adored the Local restaurant a 3 minute walk round the corner - it is called Local, Avenida branch - we ate there about 6 times). The pool area was often very busy with not enough seats for everyone, I am sure this is a problem hotels across the world have but slightly irritating, people just laid beach towels around the grass area which was fine.

Beautifully styled and very comfortable room. We really enjoyed this location - in a nice quiet pocket of the city that is very close (2 min walk) to the nearest metro making it easy to get in and out of downtown Lisbon. The terrace bar had great drinks and dinner options.

Pool gets very busy (we stayed in mid-July) with guests going down to reserve day beds as early as around 8am and staying until late afternoon. Not a deal breaker at all, but it is relatively small/has limited capacity considering the number of rooms at the hotel.

The location, very well positioned in the heart of the city, easy access to everything.

The indoor facilities: the pool is annoyingly small, not enough sun beds, the restaurant personnel unpolite. When is coming to room cleaning service, is a nightmare, because you only benefit of this service once only if you stay at least for 5 or 7 nights. And if you need more toilet paper, towels etc, you need to go the reception and supply yourself.

Beautiful clean hotel, clean rooms, great location, amazing views! Loved this hotel and the concept. Was great for working - good WiFi and desk. Convenient to have a washing machine and kitchen for long stays too. The bed was super comfortable! The coworking space was gorgeous too! The pool area and restaurant were beautiful and staff very friendly.

Too few chairs by the pool for that size of a hotel and people would rudely put things on the sun loungers at 7am but not come and use them for an hour or 2 after. Annoyed me. There should be some kind of reservation system or something. Also, 4pm check in is ridiculous. Latest I’ve ever seen.

The staff are the best thing about this hotel, hands down! They were extremely friendly, attentive and helpful. Pedro at reception helped us to move to a different room with no hassle at all, and even helped to carry our luggage across. Room was very clean (brand new when we stayed there) and the kitchen was well stocked with everything we needed to prepare our own food. 2 supermarkets within a 2 minute walk which is handy. Also had a washing machine. Well designed (but cosy) space. Location is nice, a little out of town but easily walkable to the centre (10-15 minute walk).

Very noisy induction vent in the kitchen. Room felt a lot smaller than expected and the photos portrayed (we stayed in an open plan suite). Very busy pool area and a tiny pool (there were no free beds every time we walked past it). Air con wasn't very powerful. We weren't aware you had to request for your room to be cleaned, didn't get fresh towels or housekeeping for majority of our stay.

We lived here for 10 days and will return. The room is small, but very functional. There is a place for both things and suitcases. Excellent parking with charging. Great attention to pets - a comfortable bed, gifts. Responsive and creative staff.

I would add partitions on the shared balcony.

The swimming pool area was very nice. It was great to have a fully equipped kitchen in my room. The staff very very friendly and helpful.

Cleaning. That’s why I give 8 stars, otherwise it would be 10. The rooms should really be cleaned more often than once a week guys, it was an unpleasant experience to live in a dirty room without vacuum cleaning for two weeks (if we wanted extra cleaning, the fee is 40 euros). Our room was cleaned only once during our 12-day stay and that one cleaning was frankly speaking terrible… This is the only thing I didn’t like about the hotel but it was quite a big drawback for us. I would definitely come here next year if you consider changing your cleaning policy.

Location is in very nice area, friendly stuff, clean room, spacy bathroom, comfortable bed

Room felt smaller than 23 square meters, also the bed looked small as well. Was no wardrobe so was literally no single hanger for clothes in the room

Awesome breakfast buffet with all you could want, including Pastei de Nata, the national pastries which we had to have every day. Both restaurants were excellent, with Santa Marta being worthy of two visits during our 6 night stay. Santa Joana was truly gourmet in a beautiful setting with terrific service, which we saved for our last night. The pool courtyard ambiance really made the whole complex feel like a resort. The people at the hotel were diverse, of all backgrounds, nationalities and ages. It was a nice vibe. Everyone was friendly. The hotel is steps from the Marques de Pombal station, making most of Lisbon accessible within 15 minutes. The neighborhood is not central but the metro was so easy to use. The room itself was a studio, so a little tight around the bed, but had a small kitchen living area, with a washer dryer that was essential for us, as we were in the middle of our long trip. Soap and cleaning products were provided. It really felt like a little oasis in Lisbon for us.

We stayed for 6 nights, so we unpacked and used the drawers. But for anyone in a briefer stay who might not want to bother to unpack, there was no where to leave your suitcase except under the bed. Room cleaning was offered at an additional price and had to be scheduled. It would be nice to be included and automatic after 3 nights, for example. It wasn't really a problem but it would be nicer. Breakfast staff were a little unfriendly, as they would often require us to move tables according to where they were setting up the restaurant for dinner. They should either provide signage where to sit, or be more courteous.

Rooms are very comfortable, nicely decorated, with lots of natural light. Blackout curtains were great for sleeping. The staff are literally amazing. Always welcoming and helpful. The breakfast, which can be included with the room for a lower cost, offers a wide selection of freshly prepared hot and cold options. If staying more than a few days, you will appreciate the washer/dryer in each room with instructions for use via QR code on the TV. The hotel is located only 1 block from the Pombal metro station and 2 doors down from an amazing bakery with warm, freshly baked Pastel de Nata! Convenient walk to two grocery stores if you prefer to use the kitchen in your room. All-in-one microwave & oven is a very nice space saving feature. I preferred the courtyard facing room for the quiet and picturesque view. I saw the largest, most beautiful rainbow from the wall to ceiling window in my room. The picture doesn't do it justice. NOTE: the hotel has two entrances. Uber and Bolt GPS may direct drivers to the wrong entrance. Ensure you tell the driver you want the Rua Camilo Castelo Branco 18 address for direct entry to the hotel's front desk. FYI: I was running late to the airport and didn't get a chance to say goodbye to the staff who made this visit unique. So a special shout out here to Claudia and Sophia (front desk), Raphael, Prius, Romala, Ceecee, and the manager who let me take my desert to my room on my birthday ;-)) (restaurant). Your genuine warmth and kindness while I extended the trip week after week is very much appreciated!

Some rooms have dishwashers and some don't. Be sure to ask if you want one.
