The room and bathroom were very clean and spacious. There was a small fridge where you could cool your drinks. The breakfast was simple, but okay. The staff was super nice. The hotel has good public transport connections nearby, with the Marques de Pombal station at around <10 min walk.

It's a renovated old building, so you can hear when a toilet in another room is flushed, for example, or other noises, during the night. It would be good if they added vegan options to the breakfast, besides just apples, juice and bread. For example, adding some vegetable milk alternative would be great, not only for vegans, but for people with dietary needs too.

This hotel exceeds the expectations you have for a one-star hotel. The location is superb: central but quiet and near restaurants, supermarkets and the metro. The building itself is an old townhouse that is in very good shape and has a beautiful hall. The staff are outstanding, always very friendly and helpful. All of them can converse in English, which I wouldn't have expected of them. The room was impeccably clean at all times and nicely renovated, too; the A/C blasts like a jet engine, which is awesome given the ever-heating climate. The breakfast spread is simple but complete and very delicious, with friendly and attentive staff. All in all, this was a highly satisfactory stay! In every way that it needs to, this hotel exceeds expectations.

Really the only thing that I personally disliked was that the hotel does not have a flatiron to lend. An iron is a cheap, small item that can be stored in a cabinet somewhere and lent to guests who may need it, a very easy and cheap service. No reason not do do it. Besides that, you just have to remember that you are staying in a one-star hotel in a very old building, so some things simply can't be done better: For instance, power outlets are sparse and well hidden, persons of "larger stature" might find it outright impossible to fit into the small shower cabin, and the elevator only stops at half-level. The WiFi probably won't suffice for online meetings. As is normal for a hotel of this category, it is not suitable for everyone. But it excels in its category.

The hotel is located in a central area and near to the subway. There were a lot of food stores near the hotel. The reception is available 24/7 and the staff were very friendly and willing to help us. The breakfast was quite simple but tasty. The room was very big and reinovated. The bed was also big and comfortable. The bathroom looked a bit old, but it was quite large. The staff were cleaning the room daily.

Everything! Extremely clean to begin with, and they clean every day. Good location, very inexpensive , highly recommend. The hallways are even kept pristine and the entire hotel smells like it's being cleaned by the hour. Friendly 24hour staff.

You have to turn your key in when you leave which turns the power off so you can't charge devices while out. But thats a small inconvenience in an otherwise great place to stay. It took awhile for hot water in the shower, and the water pressure was low, but again, overall - for the price, this is a spectacular location to stay.

The hotel is in a very good location, by walk you can find very interesting places to visit. The room was spacious and clean with the big balcony. Everything that you need, the room has it. Breakfast was included in the price. I had a room in a quiet part of the hotel so I could sleep well after a long walking day. If I ever come again to Lisbon, I know where I am going to stay - Hotel Dublin.

The door near reception is small and you get stuck when you want to enter the hotel.

A simple but pleasant hotel, all rooms and corridors are newly painted, the room was large with a veranda (overlooking a courtyard not very pleasant but it is a large opening giving air), the bedding very comfortable and the marble bathroom very 70's but I like it very much, the cleaning very well done everything was clean. The waiter at reception was charming and available for any questions.

I had planned earplugs because in these old buildings there is no insulation and I was right because we hear all conversations and noises of doors coming from the corridor. The category of the hotel means that there are no bathroom products, no fridge (which is good to know when it's over 30°C) or a coffee machine in the room.

The room was nice and clean, staff (although mostly met the receptionists - namely Alcino, Paulo & Nelson), were very nice and friendly. Even the staff at the restaurant too friendly. Never met any of the cleaning staff, but have kept my room clean everyday. Decent sized room, had a TV, small refrigerator and also Safe available. All in all, value for money.

It's not that I did not like it, the Breakfast could have variety daily. It was the same everyday (just cheese and Ham). Was hoping someday to have bacon n eggs. But overall, a very decent breakfast to have. Another slight problem I had was before I had arrived I had enquired if there was Car Parking available and informed that there is. So had booked a car for my trip. But when I arrived was told by Hotel receptionist that there is no Car Parking available but the only place to park the car was in a Car Parking building nearby. This would have been expensive for me as would be charged by the hour. Hence I had to cancel my Car booking.

Check-in was smooth, Paolo was very friendly and accommodating. Daily breakfast was good, may need variety but it is okay. Location is nice as well. Lots of restaurant options nearby. Bus stops are within 1 or 2 blocks so very accessible. Room is nice and clean. Housekeeping staff were friendly. We will definitely come back

Nothing really. Nothing can be done w the elevator situation and it adds to the personality of the hotel.

Hotel Dublin was an excellent choice for a brief 3 night working visit to Lisbon. The room had all advertised amenities, and although it was small, was very comfortable. The AC worked well and the temperature was good through the night. The morning breakfast provision was sound and staff were all polite and friendly. I would stay here again and recommend it to business visitors looking for somewhere affordable and authentic on a work trip to Lisbon.

The WiFi was temperamental. The safety deposit box in my room didn’t work, although the hotel did have good security and get very safe so I didn’t mind this so much. It would be good if breakfast could be served before 8am as the timing made it quite difficult to get to morning meetings.

This hotel is close enough to metro station, surrounding is peaceful and safe. It is important that if you arrive late at the night staff is there. Also possible to get simple breakfast at the hotel. Staff is friendly and helpful.

Noisy from outside, also room size was small.
