Lovely hotel with personal care, good location, very clean, bigger rooms and tasty breakfast. Nice bar and sofa's to relax with books and after noon tea facilities. On walking distance from the city center. Nice are the high end shops close by to window shop. Hotel is in a quiet street with double windows, not a lot of noice. Loved the beds with Egyptian cotton duvet covers.

Nothing, it's as good as a hotel can be, the receptionist is patient and helpfull, doors are opened, luggage brought to the room. A little terras outside to drink coffee would be lovely but that's a choice the hotel makes.

Lovely stylish, and friendly hotel. Rooms are spacious, beds large and comfy, good mix of lighting. We particularly enjoyed the lounge/breakfast area and connected bar area. It's great that there is a mix of smaller tables with chairs, and couches, in both areas, and good collection of books and games. The afternoon tea (cakes, coffee, tea) from 17.00 was a bonus, as was the port and ginjinha at the bar and in rooms. The layout, and the afternoon tea, made it very relaxing. Staff are friendly, and knowledgeable. We were given a useful list of restaurants, and had good help with public transport (and weather). Avenida Liberdade is expensive shops and restaurants, but as soon as you go to the streets off it, you find the nice, normal priced places. 3 minutes to metro or buses.

Excellent breakfast buffet, lovely room, convenient elevator, very good location, incredibly friendly and helpful staff. I think the staff - front desk (Patricia) and the doormen, etc. - were wonderful! they made us feel welcomed and like we were friends. Very helpful with restaurant recommendations and things to do.

The bathrooms could be better. Gurgling noises in the water pipes were a bit annoying but understandable due to the age of the building. Also more counter space would be appreciated.

The staff were extremely friendly and helpful, we felt comfortable in the hotel. The room was very spacious and comfortable, the atmosphere of the room and hotel was exceptional

the rooms are not perfectly soundproofed, which is probably due to the specifics of the old building (the atmosphere of the building may be worth such a minor inconvenience)

A gorgeous, stylish boutique hotel in an excellent location. Although it's small (only 30 rooms) it delivers top quality service worthy of a big 5 star hotel - but friendlier! We loved every minute of our stay - helpful, knowledgeable staff, friendly efficient service, excellent breakfast choices, spacious and comfortable room accommodation. Best of all, the hotel is so beautiful and stylish to look at, retaining really beautiful art deco features and styling. It felt really special! The location is just off the best street in Lisbon, the Avenida da Liberdade - where all the top designer shops and good restaurants are situated. Also, walking distance to the characterful, historic parts of the city, or just 5 minutes walk to the nearest Metro station and bus stop.

The Hotel is a very beautiful Art Deco style with every detail given so much thought and attention to the period.The staff are amazing, always welcoming, helpful, and attentive. The service was exceptional from them all , they were always so efficient and thoughtful. Our room was beautiful and spotless, and the attention to cleanliness was superior. It was comfortable and well equipped. The breakfast was delicious, and everything was fresh and replenished frequently. The breakfast staff were so lovely. An added bonus was the welcoming complimentary afternoon tea with delicious cakes. The Hotel is situated in a good location too. We couldn't fault it and would stay there again if we were in Lisbon

All the staff could not have been more friendly professional and helpful. They were exceptional. The room was spacious and so comfortable. The bathroom was outside of the bedroom with an entrance lobby area. Free water in the fridge. Free decanter full of the delicious Portuguese port. Lovely powerful shower and deep bath. Robes slippers and molton brown toiletries. Free afternoon tea all day which was lovely to have when peckish after a long day. Wonderful stay.

If I’m going to be really picky the one lift is a little small. But to be honest there was nothing we didn’t like. No criticism to give

The best night of sleep I got during my whole trip in Portugal. Too bad I'm only staying for one night. The location was great, Uber/Bolt can pick you up right in front of the hotel. Cafe and restaurants within walking distance. A really nice massage place also nearby. Right in the middle of everything but quiet in my room. The room was modern yet charming. Very spacious, quiet, I'm a very light sleeper so believe me when I say it's super quiet. Shower was powerful and great. Bed was huge and firm, very comfortable. The staff were super friendly and helpful. Everything was great.

Breakfast starts at 7:30AM, it would be nice if it can be a little earlier since I have an early flight. Not a big issue though, since they have a coffee machine ready before that.

The service, bar and breakfast, location This is a true treasure. They even have a door man. This building was once a home and has been converted to a hotel. The bar is wonderful and there is a library room behind it with a fireplace and books and wonderful couches. Very cozy. Yu have your breakfast in this room, which was very good. The staff is amazing. There are several restaurants nearby. Hotel is very walkable.

Loved the historic decor, and California king sized bed with a choice of pillows to my liking. Service was impeccable, reminded me of how hotels were in some nostalgic past. Breakfast was decent and goes until late, which was super appreciated, and there was also a lovely tea time available starting at 5pm. Location was also excellent, a short 5 minute walk to the Avenida metro station and just behind the Avenida de Liberdade - we pretty much walked everywhere. Loved the little touches here and there, felt like staying in a nice museum.

No real complaints - ambient lighting could have been a little bit better with dimmers; not a huge fan of shower curtains but given the theme of the hotel, it made sense. That’s kind of it!ll
