Location next to the ultra popular Pasteis de Belem and Mosteiro Jeronimos; staying closeby means you could get to these places early in the morning to avoid the absolutely enormous queues. Very helpful host (although he seems to be the only person running the whole place, apart from the cleaner, so you may need to wait at busy times). Reception is open during normal office hours to check you in, which avoids the need to submit your full passport details to some unheard-of third party website in advance.

From Belem, it takes up to an hour by public transport to reach downtown and the old town where most of the other major sights are. In my room, the bathroom door handle looked to be falling apart (I dared not touch it to confirm!), which seems a bit sloppy and certainly very unsightly. Tea-making facilities (eg kettle and teabags) are available only on request at the reception. Using the keypad at the main entrance on street level requires some practice; if you press a button too hard, the keypad would assume you have pressed that same number more than once - it beeps several times - in which case the access code would not work, so a relatively light touch is required and try to listen carefully to the beeps in the midst of the loud street noises.

We were greeted with the most personable, enthusiastic welcome despite arriving late due to travel delays. Immediately my concern was mitigated as we were treated with a thorough introduction and tour of the place. I cannot state enough that the welcome was as if we were meeting with life long friends. There was not a false note within the welcome - truly personable - far from a scripted, by the numbers greeting. In fact if time permitted I may have invited our host for drinks as travel warrants genuine interactions with locals. When I return to Lisbon I will return to Famous Crows as the Belem location with close proximity to water, beaches, attractions and pastel de nata is ideal!

Room was spacious with comfortable beds & couch. Pedro & his team are friendly & welcoming and available to help with anything. Good location with easy access to the local buses, trams and the Yellow Bus Tour Stops. Walking distance to shops & restaurants. A/C was great. Room had everything advertised and was spotlessly clean. Pedro checked us in and showed us around our room. They have many room options check their website for details. We will be staying again if we manage to visit Lisbon again.

Could have done with a bigger Fridge/Freezer but we managed. Quite allot of noise from the Street/traffic with it being a front facing room, but not the owners fault and we got used to it by night two. Could have done with a small brush & shovel to help clean.

Absolutely right in the centre of Belem, the monastery is 10 seconds away. The apartment is clean, well signed from outside and has easy access with a keycode. There were clear instructions by email for how to access the building. The room is clean, has a shower (which is amazing- especially for such a good value room!) and the beds were clean and comfortable. It would be perfect for a slightly longer stay for two people, with crockery and a microwave, but there wouldn't be room for 4 to stay for any length of time.

Towels could have been in better condition, but the value of the room made that unimportant. Some of the booking messages were a little odd, including messages asking about the ages of the kids, and asking for more money, when we had already booked for 4 people. However we ignored this, and as it's self check in we don't know if this was an official message or a scam.

Pedro greeted my daughter and I on our arrival and was wonderful! He told us all about the area we were staying in, some historical facts about Lisbon, and all the time, made us feel very welcome. He was funny and friendly! We had arrived slightly earlier than our check in time but he made sure our room was ready for us. The apartment was absolutely spotless, very spacious and had everything we needed. It had a lovely balcony with fabulous views. The beds were extremely comfortable. The location was great, with lots to see and great places to eat in the immediate area, yet it was only a 10 minute train journey to the centre of Lisbon. I would 100% stay here again when visiting Lisbon. Thank you Pedro!!😁

There was nothing not to like!!!

Location is amazing old town very busy touristic place .The room was big and a very beautiful view was ok can't complain. Everything was clean and easy to check in , In total, i will rebook again in the future, and if you r a Starbucks lover, it's literally next door .

Was a bit suspicious when they sent me message on booking.com with a suspicious link redirecting me out to different website asking to reenter my bank details again thats a clear scam be careful, but i reported to booking. Com Customer service about it after that all good .And from the airport to the hotel was a bit far to get .

Excellent location, close to bus and tram stops in the center of Belem. Very close to main attractions of Belem. Pedro is very helpful and happy to help with any issue, obrigado. Room is a good size with a big wardrobe, working air con (with heating option). Walk-in shower, comfortable for tall people.

Bathroom has frosted glass door without a proper frame to keep noises and moisture inside the bathroom. Also the bathroom does not have opening windows and the fan is not working properly. Room does not have a kettle to prepare evening coffee or tea.

Clean, well-equipped apartment, close to Belém Tower and St. Jerome's Monastery. The room is comfortable, the bed is big enough, there is a small kitchen area with a fridge (but no sink). The shower cabin is a bit cramped, but usable. Everything we needed was available. Trams and buses are in front of the building, easy access to any attraction.

The room was noisy due to the central location, but the comfort and accessibility made up for it.

The room was spacious and well-equipped, with lots of cupboard space. The bathroom was clean although there was no space around the basin to store any hygiene or personal products. The bed was comfortable and clean.

The room opened out onto the main street which was ver noisy. The man who showed us to the room was very odd and opened all the doors and pointed out the strangest things like 'this is the fridge' and 'here is a make-up wipe so you don't put make-up on my towels'. Bit creepy! There was no option for a double or king bed but only 2 singles pushed together.

Excellent location, great value( which made us choose the Famous Crows).Room was lovely...plug in the sink, warm duvets, clean bathroom...but if you are the sort of person that minds a cracked floor tile then this is not for you. We loved it and the room had all we wanted.

Not knowing best place to park before we arrived. Plenty of car parks around but was hard to find out if free, how much and whether we could park all night. But now we know - the best parking is on some residential streets ( free) , up behind the hotel, at the most a 5 minute walk from the hotel.
