I loved our stay in Belém thanks to our awesome accommodations at the Geronimo House and our host George. It was located outside the main city of Lisbon but convienent to the main attractions in Belém, the river, restaurants and all public transportation. We could walk 5 minutes to the famous Pastel de Belém, The Monastery and the the Statue of the Discoverers. We were in a quiet little neighborhood where we felt right at home in George’s comfy home. Our rooms on the second floor had a balcony to look out on the backyard gardens and the river. George was a welcoming host and gave us many recommendations. I was sorry we had to leave after 3 nights. We hope to come back.

Geronimo Guesthouse is like a home away from home. The warm welcome we received was exceptional. Staff went out of their way to give us recommendations on local restaurants and places to visit. The garden area is a little bit of paradise with the biggest avocado tree I have ever seen. Four cats roam the property and all guests must be approved by them which made me smile. The room was perfect, clean and cozy with a very comfortable bed. Quiet area considering it's location by a school. To visit Belem, it was the ideal spot with trams and most Belem touristic sites 5 minutes away.

Location was amazing, close to local attractions. Walking distance to Belem tower and Vasco da Gama memorial. Great restaurants nearby. Castille de George a bit of a walk but duoable. Visited the Banksy Museum and club pilates Lisbon while there. Small refrigerator in room, microwave in hallway and coffee downstairs. Large rooms, comfortable beds, private bathrooms, great staff, responsive owners. Felt very safe there alone and in the neighborhood. Great garden area and authentic feel.

Beautiful guesthouse, rooms decorated with impeccable taste and attention to detail. The peaceful garden is a delight in the middle of the city. Hosts are very attentive and helpful. Great value for money. Perfect location for exploring Lisbon and the neighbourhood itself is full of nice restaurants and sights. Highly recommended.

Only downside was the lack of a kettle for making tea - coffee machine downstairs has pods for making tea but not great. Also very few plug sockets in room and the mini-bar is actually just a mini-fridge. Aside from that, we had a jacuzzi in our room but we couldn't get it to work which was a pity.

Minor detail but there is no kettle, just a coffee machine downstairs so tea drinkers may be disappointed. There are pods for making tea in the machine but they aren't the same as real tea. Also there wasn't many electrical sockets in the room and the only rubbish bin was in the bathroom and it was quite small. They also mention a mini-bar in the rooms but it's just a mini-fridge with nothing in it.

Location, location, location. Perfect for walking to every site in Belem. Close to some very good restaurants. Very nice & helpful host. Good communication before booking. Loved the on-site cat that would visit us daily. Rooms all have a country theme and we enjoyed the decoration to match the theme (Africa). No noise from other guestrooms. Very spacious room with patio overlooking lovely garden. Large bathroom, lots of natural light. Comfortable bed. Lots of nice little touches. Plenty of storage for clothing & luggage. Garden had multiple seating/conversation areas. Very peaceful. Even had a hot tub but we didn't try it. Husband loved the coffee set up in the front entry way.

The yard is amazing, based in a quite and cozy area. The room is cozy and clean. All other praise is to Jorge who greeted us: We met some challenges when we first arrived there that we lost one of our bags. It was so late but Jorge still accompied us and tried every way he could to help us. He can felt us anxiaty and upset, and showed his warm help. I really appreicated Jorge's help and he made me want to visit Portugal again. Thank you Jorge!

The apartments near Lisbon are a real gem! A perfect blend of comfort and style. The host welcomed us warmly, offered a cup of coffee, and shared insights about local attractions. The apartments are clean and cozy, with stylish furniture creating an atmosphere of true Portuguese hospitality. The presence of a private courtyard, where cute cats reside, added a special touch of charm and coziness. The location allowed us to explore not only Lisbon itself but also other cities in Portugal thanks to the host's recommendations. A big plus was the availability of coffee, tea, and water, which added to the feeling of home comfort. Overall, staying in these apartments was an unforgettable experience, and we will definitely come back here again!

Very nice room, comfortable bed, sofa, a lot of space to keep the clothes, etc. Hosts are very welcoming, offering free coffee tea in the morning, There is a beautiful inner yard, places to relax. Overall, the place is quiet and well kept. All tourist attractions just around the corner, what is very convenient

Minor issue, is the entrance/climbing in/out of the shower (bath), as there is not so much space between shower glass and WC. Just had to be careful.

The hosts were wonderful and very friendly. Great directions on the nearby local sites and restaurants. The guesthouse was a beautiful oasis in the heart of Belem. I loved my Asian themed room. Everything inside was clean!

Though I like cats, all of the outdoor cushions had cat fur on them. Maybe using a lint roller everyday will help. Didn't realize the shower door was loose and didn't form a good seal with the bathtub so the floor got wet! Which I mopped up. Just different from the States.
