We had a pleasant stay at this hotel. The location is excellent—right near a metro station and close to some beautiful parks, which made exploring the city easy and enjoyable. The room was clean and had just enough space for two, with a great city view that let you see far into the distance. Breakfast was also good value for the money. Overall, it’s a solid choice for a short stay, especially if location is your priority.

A couple of things to keep in mind: the hotel is located near the airport's flight path, so planes land quite frequently—roughly every two minutes. It’s not too disruptive, but might bother light sleepers or those who prefer open windows. Also, while the room was adequate, it could have been a bit more spacious.

The hotel is just next to the metro station, which was very useful. I was a bit worried if it will be noisy because of the metro station nearby, but no, we didn't notice any particular noise even though we had been sleeping with an open window. The bed was very comfortable, and it was good to have a bath instead of a shower. Castelbel soap was a nice touch. The restaurant is lovely, and we enjoyed our breakfast.

A/C is a bit noisy, but works properly and quickly cools the room.

It was centrally located - right beside the metro and also close to the airport. Very effective heating system that kept the rooms warm during winter. Room was very cosy and comfortable. It was also clean. The bathroom was nice and safe. No frills, a nice 4 star hotel that does the job alright.

The toilet wasn't cleaned properly on the last day. I had to pay 10 euros each time I requested cutlery to eat food I purchased externally. No iron in the room to press clothes.

Super easy access to the centre with a metro 30 seconds walk away. The staff were fabulous - attentive, informative and generally wonderful.

The flight path and not being able to open the window due to the noise of the planes. Although not massively loud, they were still very audible. However, close the double or maybe triple glazed windows, put the A/C on and you can’t hear them and you get a good nights sleep.

I have stayed in this hotel for many times, it has a comfortable location (for my purposes), attentive staff , clean rooms, comfortable beds. Close to the zoo, Gulbenkian museum, airport and many restaurants, el Corte Ingles

Breakfast, too basic, I believe a four stars hotel that does not have no gym nor pool should at least give the guests the courtesy of choosing how their breakfast eggs are cooked and not serve powder scrambled eggs. The coffee and pineapples are good

The staff were very friendly and helpful especially the restaurant and bar staff. I was treated wonderfully by all. The room was spacious enough and comfortable. The bed was fine the pillows not so much.

The bath divider didn’t seal very well in the corner (looked a bit worn and torn) so whenever the bath/shower was used water would fall out on the floor and quite a puddle was formed (even by the cleaning staff).

Great location, right next to the metro. Quirky with plants growing everywhere, a tribute to the Açores no doubt. The staff always pleasant and efficient, well trained, well managed. Breakfast was good, plenty of choice. A fully stocked mini bar AND tea and coffee making facilities in the room, for some reason a rarity in Portugal! Plenty of car parking space.

Hot food at breakfast was not kept hot, you need better under dish heaters! (Only a minor issue, food was good!)

Room was cosy, I could control air con. Comfortable, clean bed, shower robe & slippers…a safe. All you require. Parking was easy & staff helpful & friendly. Location close to metro convenient to get to city centre.

The planes flying overhead so low was a bit unnerving & although the sound was muffled by double glazing I was aware they were very close to hotel.

Very convenient to Metro. Azorean restaurant on site. Also loved location between airport and downtown in a quiet, medical facility-oriented neighborhood. Hotel was well appointed, staff was gracious and well trained. Short walks to a very good Brazilian meat restaurant and the Gulbenkian Museum (superb).

Planes overhead can be noisy, but that's not the hotel's fault.

Very rich breakfast and good position next to a metro stop of the blue line, 10 min ride by cat to the airport

Everything was fine, the only weak point which could be improved was the temperature control of the water in the shower. The temperature was either too warm or cold, it was hard to set it to a pleasant temperature.
