Location was perfect for shopping and for dinning options. Loved the pool and the room was spacious and comfortable and modern. The staff was helpful and kind and the kids enjoyed the play area close to the reception. It’s a great hotel For families! Also the burger at the side pool bar was delicious!
The stairs in the pool area need to be renovated, they were unstable and can easily cause someone to fall and get hurt. Also I found a silverfish when opening the sofa bed, which didn’t make my kid comfortable sleeping in there afterwards.

I liked the reception area and restaurant. Staff were helpful and friendly. Bedroom very spacious and comfortable. Loved the bathroom.
I ordered room service a 2 or 3 times. One time my room number wasn’t taken. I called when the food hadn’t arrived and they said they would send it. The meal came but was obviously the original meal that had been sat awaiting delivery and was hard, cold and disgusting. I didn’t complain at the time but wish I had. 😔The swimming pool area needs a clean up and overhaul (loose tiles, decking etc. Pool area wasn’t cleaned up before opening and often still glasses and bits of rubbish left from day before. Jesus and Joao? (John) were really kind to my grandchildren and after finding out that it was the 6th birthday of one of them Jesus brought out a beautiful cake with candle . 😊🎉

It was very family-friendly, e.g. different mascot/character every morning for breakfast, they were super nice to the kids, animation options for the kids. Metro nearby, and the Zoo within walking distance (we walked to the Zoo and back with a 8- and 5-year old).
Just a couple of tiny things: a broken step (a whole in the step) leading towards the pool - if the kids are running to the pool in flip-flops they can hurt themselves, and some things (pancake station) at breakfast taking too long. It's fun to watch how the machine makes your pancakes, but it takes forever - think about having some ready to take pancake options as well.

Room was clean and comfy. The barman (mentioned to call him John) think his name was Tao was amazing - he provided us with stuff to keep the kids entertained. Spoke about the area and gave us some great advice. Recommended and made some amazing drinks and made sure the pool area was clean and we were comfortable at all times. A real asset to your hotel!!
Park by the pool was a little dirty looking and the door was huge and slammed (definitely not safe for children). The wooden decking around to pool stairs was also loose and waiting for an accident to happen. Trees create shade by the pool meaning the pool is very cold as it doesn't have a chance to warm up. Reception weren't overly friendly but not the worst.

The breakfast was excellent and delicious. Spacious room size as compared to rooms in Paris and UK. Most of the front desk staff were well-trained and demonstrated great hospitality. They responded quickly to room requests, even during the busy holiday season. Additionally, the arrangement of a taxi to the airport was seamless and well-organized.
1. The hotel is located in an area close to the airport, which can be quite noisy in the early morning. This made it difficult for me to fall asleep. If you're sensitive to noise, I would strongly recommend avoiding this hotel. 2. The lighting system in the room is confusing, with two-way switches between the main hallway and the bedside panels. There are no labels to indicate which switch controls which light, making it inconvenient to use. 3. The temperature control in the room was ineffective, leaving the room uncomfortably hot during the winter. I was informed that the panel could not lower the temperature, and while the window could be opened slightly in a tilted position, it provided minimal relief.

We had a pleasant stay at Novotel Lisboa. The staff was kind, supportive, and always ready to assist, which made our experience even more comfortable. The room was clean, well-maintained, and provided a comfortable space for relaxation. Breakfast was satisfying, offering a good variety of options to suit different tastes. Additionally, the hotel's location was ideal, being close to NOVA IMS, which was very convenient for us. Overall, we’d rate our stay 8 out of 10. With minor improvements, this could easily become an exceptional experience.
However, there are a couple of areas for improvement. There was no bellman service to assist with luggage, which would have been helpful. Also, the bathroom sink had some issues with water retention, which was slightly inconvenient.

The room was spacious, and the bed met the expected standard for a 4-star hotel. The location is excellent—within walking distance of the Gulbenkian Museum, El Corte Inglés, and several other key spots in Lisbon. The in-room amenities, including the minibar offerings, were a thoughtful touch and much appreciated.
The bathroom had an unpleasant odor, likely coming from the sewage system. Breakfast was a bit chaotic, with many children running around. While this isn't a complaint, it would be helpful if the hotel clearly indicated that it is family-oriented.

I recently stayed at this hotel and had a mixed experience. On the positive side, the location was very convenient, the food in the restaurant was tasty, the bed was comfortable, and the room was a decent size — all of which made it easy to relax.
However, there were a few disappointments. The room wasn’t properly cleaned — I found crisps under the bed from a previous guest. Also, the air conditioning didn’t work properly. Even when set to a higher temperature, it kept blowing very cold air, which made the room uncomfortable at times.

I booked a superior family room for two adults and two kids. The staffs in the reception and the restaurant were kind and friendly to answer any kind of questions and feel impressed to their effort to try to help guests even some of staffs were not good at speaking English. The room were well equipped with all the necessary and WiFi worked also quite well. The breakfast was also very good with fresh fruits and various type of breads cakes and so on every day , especially omelet I liked it very much ! The location was also close to metro stations, department store, zoo and so on
The room was quite dusty in some of hidden places, which cause dust to fly over all the places in the room even though the places that people can see look clean.

The hotel was perfect for traveling with kids. A kids pool, a playground, a "giant ipad" with games next to the restaurant, crayons and paper upon request. We spent my daughter's birthday there and the staff gave her a cake and sang happy birthday, one of them dressed like a minion. We all loved it.
The location is OK but not great, metro and main areas within a short walk which became a long walk with 1 and 4 year old kids. We ended up using Uber a lot.
