Its location is incredible. Right in the heart of downtown so no need for any transportation. We walked to almost all attractions. Comfy bed

The floor of the hotel room is a little bit not straight towards the balcony so you’d better take care. Also, there were some ants on the table that was not nice. However, we shifted to the apartments the next day and it was a big studio with all facilities and very clean. Go for the apartment studios if possible, it is much better.

I had a last-minute booking, and the night reception was friendly and had an upbeat personality. He was welcoming and even smiled at my overall awkwardness. For that I give the service 10/10. The room itself is small but fitting to the price and quality. It was a double room. I would suggest no more than two people be booked in this room. When I say small, it is narrow. The cleanliness was good, and the room did get fairly warm with the heater. During the night, we had to shut it off because it was quite toasty. The room was equipped with a mini fridge, soap, and paper cups. We wanted to have breakfast there but was told they only accept cash payments. Maybe if we come back, we'll try breakfast. The location is perfect near the center of Aliados. This was a Saturday booking at night. I could hear people on the street. That is no fault of the hotel. Not loud enough to wake someone up or cause a disturbance, in my opinion. If looking for a completely silent atmosphere, this may not work for you. Porto is a busy city, so expect city life.

Best Value city break two star hotel I have stayed in. Huge bonus having parking on site for our VW California. We had a top floor room with balcony and a lift . The street view was a bonus as was the quiet night thanks to the glazing and shutter system.

A little difficult to communicate before arrival. But we were a last minute booking and need not have worried as everything was in place for our arrival.

Great value cozy hotel. I liked the view from my balcony.

Some dark curtains to block out light would be nice if you want to sleep when it is bright outside, also when it is dark people can see you through the curtains so you can't undress. Also an extra table to put things on would be nice.

Fabulous location, almost all the staff were friendly & extremely helpful.

The night time receptionist was rather brusque - he was the only member of staff who did not smile or help in any way. The balcony was extremely tatty & uncomfortable The bathroom was very compact!

We knew from the beginning, that the rooms are small and not super modern, but honestly? Get informed, before you book your room. (-; We enjoyed staying at Puerto Rico hotel and the staff was very friendly too (-: A lady working at the front desk was so kind to help me, when I had problems with buying train tickets online. She was so nice, patient and professional to call the number that I gave her, even though I was a bit nervous ( the train ticket website had a system problem. They had already deducted money from my credit card without sending me the tickets.) But she remained kind and very professional. Kudos to her! 🙏🏻😊

We chose this hotel in out last day in Porto, so we decide to find something in city center. That was best decision, we could feel how people live there. We got what we wanted, room with bathroom we had lot of towel, in the room was air conditioning. At our disposal we had balcon with nice view. The breakfast was very good, lot of choice to eat and drink. In the hotel is lift if somebody needed. Frindly and nice staff. I highly recommend.

Everything was in walking distance.

The only downside is that it was a narrow road so if you were getting out of a taxi traffic built up behind you

First of all, the localization is the best. As for me, I was able to see the central town hall and square from my balcony. 10 min on foot from the Hotel you have Froiz supermarket, where you can buy everything you need. To the Douro river you have up to 30 min on foot.

Parking was expensive.
