Delicious free breakfast on the lovely roof terrace, with bread, delicious jams, fresh fruit and fruit juices, yogurt, made-to-order eggs, and good coffee. Kid/family friendly (high chairs and a basket of children's books at breakfast). Excellent location- we could walk everywhere. Friendly and helpful staff. They recommended good restaurants nearby. They spoke English, Spanish, maybe other languages too. They stored our luggage for us between check-out and our late-afternoon flight, which we really appreciated. The room was large (we booked a family suite) and a great value for what we paid for it, very affordable. It was also clean, which I want to note because after I booked this place I saw one review saying there were ants and mold and I got a little worried, but we saw nothing of the sort- everything both looked and smelled fresh and clean.

Bar on the terrace closed early at 8:00 PM, although the sign in our room said 10:00 PM. I went up to have a glass of port on the terrace and to get our bottle of drinking water re-filled and was surprised to find it locked and nobody there. But that's OK, it's a small hotel, almost more of a b&b vibe than a hotel, so it's understandable that they don't have 24/7 staffing like a larger hotel might. Just something to be aware of!

-Clear information provided for easy check-in after hours. -Breakfast was great, with great selection of food. -Staff were very friendly and helpful (Ana and Teresa).

-Unable to cancel for unexpected circumstances out of guest's control. -Shower door did not close properly, water came out into rest of bathroom floor, could be a safety concern for possible falls. -No exhaust fan in bathroom or not working. -Some doors (room, closets) did not open properly. -Outlets too far from beds.

Comfortable, clean, good location , rooftop bar with terrace

We received detailed instructions for the check-in process by email. However, we weren't informed that we needed to buzz the bell upon arrival to have the main entrance door opened. Although there is a sign with the name of the property next to the doorbell, we didn't notice it initially and took a little time to figure things out. Since most properties these days offer self-check-in, we thought we were missing a door code to enter the main building. After walking up the hill from the parking lot in the heat, it was a bit stressful. This was a very minor issue, and had we been informed ahead of time with the check-in instructions, we would have been better prepared.

VERY confusing to get into the property! There is no hotel reception/lobby to check in, need to go to 6th floor breakfast terrace and check in .No ice machines. no chairs in room to relax to watch a movie for family of 4- a couch pull out for 2 but rest have to lie on beds or sit on floor - fridge not cold

All staff were extremely kind and always helpful. Breakfast was varied and nutritious and the view while having it was superb. The room was spacious and the main bed very comfortable (the sofa bed not so much but good enough for our daughter and a couple of nights we even fitted leisurely in the big bed all 3). The location is great to access most places by walking (rain permitting) and very well served by public transport.

Our room was right by the check-in desk, which made it a bit nosier than we would have wanted.

Location was very central, walking distance. Great to have a lovely breakfast and greeted by lovely staff especially Theresa who always went out of her way to make sure everything was just right. Nothing was a problem. Bed always made and fresh towels each day was unexpected treat. Rooftop a nice touch. Taxi transfers are easily made with staff at the apartment which is very convenient.

No access code upon arrival although our flight was slightly delayed. Building not very pretty from the outside but as they say it’s what’s inside that’s important.

The location was central, and the rooms were comfortable and clean. The staff was helpful and friendly. We stayed for two nights. If I come to Porto again, I won't need to look for another place :)

Our only complaint about the facility might be the bed our son slept in. The middle of it was practically a dip. They tried to help, but the issue couldn't be resolved due to a problem with the sofa. I think it's time for the mechanism to be replaced.

Description of the room was deceiving - courtyard was an “alley”- all you could hear was construction workers and pigeons. Had to keep windows closed to keep the sounds out. Curtain was broken so blinds were closed the whole time- but given the view it was for the best.

Very nice apartment with a private terrace and extra outdoor shower where we could sit for a while and enjoy a book, a coffee and the view of the surrounding city. The hosts were incredibly nice, always up for a little chat. On checkout day our daughter was sick and they let us stay on the rooftop terrace a little longer and provided us with directions to the pharmacy and some water and coffee, as well as mental support! The best thing about this place might be the people! ❤️
