I recently stayed at YOTEL Porto and had a fantastic experience. The location is superb, close to the heart of Porto, making it easy to explore the city’s main attractions, restaurants, and shops on foot. The hotel itself is modern and impeccably clean, with well-maintained facilities and rooms that have a sleek, functional design. Everything felt fresh and well-cared for, which made the stay that much more comfortable. The quality of service was also impressive; the staff were welcoming and attentive, always ready to help with recommendations or answer questions. The amenities in the room were top-notch, offering everything I needed for a relaxing stay. My only hesitation would be that the price is a bit on the higher side, but given the quality, location, and cleanliness, it still felt like a worthwhile choice. I’d definitely recommend YOTEL Porto for anyone looking for a high-quality, convenient stay in Porto!

The hotel is relatively new and is kept very clean. Its location is also good, about 5 minutes walk to the nearest metro station, and going down to the downtown core can still be done on foot at a leisurely pace. The breakfast provided is also very good too.

The features in the room may be too high tech for the less tech savvy guests. For example, there were no written instructions on how to work the fancy colour lighting system. The bed we had was comfortable, but the bed frame squeaks!! The room doesn't have any shelf space to speak of for clothes out of the luggage if you have longer stays. While the welcoming card indicates that a kettle , coffee and tea are provided in the room, only the kettle was available. When we asked for tea bags and instant coffee packs, we were told at the front desk, we need to pay for the beverage pack. We feel that this is really petty for such a hotel!

I like the location, the facilities like the restaurant, TV area, and the gym. Many spaces to relax. The restaurant food was lovely. The gym had lots of useful gym equipment. I really enjoyed relaxing in bed with the various English speaking channels which I don't see in other hotels in other countries.

I didn't like that my room had no practical space for my clothes. I didn't like that there wasn't any tea or coffee in the room. I didn't like the LED lighting, give me traditional lighting. I know the hotel niche is technological. I didn't like that there was no flexibility when it came to upgrades or changes like I paid for breakfast and just as I did my family ordered a cab without my knowledge. I asked if the Money could be put on my room or I use the voucher the following day and they said no.

I stayed in the chain before, in Amsterdam, it is all the same, clean, basic, near the best train station and connected to the entire city. good services, you get 5 eur bonus if you skip cleaning, and a 20% discount in their restaurant which had great food and drinks. i had an iron and a kettle in the room.

you need to know the room is very small, narrow. with the extended bed (for sleep) you can barely cross to the bathroom. and this is the same as other yotel hotels. there was a "complientary pack (a water, a small snack, coffee)" which was paid - 3.9 eur, this is like a "mini bar option" NOT complimentary. complimentary should be free of charge. i could not use the 2 discounts for one order.

On the morning of my check-out day, when I went for breakfast, the lady checking guests said, "I thought you already had breakfast." I replied, "What??? That’s quite rude behavior. Do I have two stomachs?" Finally, I had made two bookings for four nights in total. A polite man at the front desk assured me that everything was arranged, so I didn’t need to do anything during my stay. But on the fourth day, the front desk called and asked why I hadn’t checked out. I was so confused. The hotel’s internal communication definitely needs improvement.

Staff were friendly and helpful. Breakfast buffet had a nice selection and staff kept it replenished. We had lunch and supper at the hotel and really enjoyed it. We are not used to dining as late as is the custom so appreciated that the YOTEL restaurant was available earlier. We loved our room - beautiful view of the downtown. Loved the shower - shampoo and conditioner 😊 The bed was very comfortable. We used the car park which was covered and secure. The lighting and decor, as well as set up of the rooms make it unique.

Wished it was a wee bit closer to the downtown but 15 minute walk was not bad.

The room was basic but in a good way. Very clean and comfortable. The location was ideal with it being a 2 minute walk from the main station for the airport and to get down onto the river. There are plenty of very good food options within a 10/15 minute walk and the centre of porto is a short walk away if not using the metro.

There was no option to put a big light on so had to use lamps and the light from the windows to see anything. A big light option would be good

Location was excellent a couple minutes walk to the metro and ten minutes walk into the city centre! Nice cafes for brunch even closer nearby! All within a busy area so felt safe walking to/from the hotel! Front desk staff were always helpful and staff at the restaurant very attentive and polite. Also they were able to keep heavy bags on the day of checkout as my flight wasn’t until late at night and I wanted to explore more so this was super helpful!

I was on the 8th floor and the music from the rooftop bar on Friday and Saturday night was SO LOUD. I had thankfully read previous reviews and brought ear plugs so was prepared.. also similar to other reviews I had read prior to arrival.. THE SHOWER LEAKED ALL OVER THE FLOOR AND THE FLOOR WAS SOAKED from only a quick 5 minute shower.. (forgot about the reviews I had read whilst I was showering 🥴)

Excellent Stay! We stayed at this hotel for a few days, and our experience was outstanding. The rooms were spacious, comfortable, and spotlessly clean, with beautiful décor and all the amenities we needed. The staff was friendly, helpful, and always willing to assist us with anything we needed. The breakfast was truly rich, offering a great variety of fresh and high-quality products to satisfy all tastes. The hotel’s location was also very convenient, making it easy for us to get around. We would definitely choose it again and highly recommend it!
