I was the first customer of this wonderful hotel. The reception was more than wonderful. The hotel staff were very friendly. The hotel manager received us with a great welcome and offered us a wellcome drink. The receptionist himself transported the bags upstairs. The rooms were very wonderful and the decor was very luxurious and... The mattresses are very comfortable, the window and door are soundproof, the food is very delicious and the drinks are delicious beyond description. If you want to feel very luxurious, I recommend this hotel. I would like to thank the Vincci Bonjardim Hotel and all those responsible for it. I will return soon to stay in this wonderful hotel, which made my stay in Porto very wonderful and exceptional.

Rooftop area, room facilities, styling, good breakfast options, but extremely busy at all times.

No hot breakfast options, eating cold bacon and eggs not the best. Location good, but street not the best, groups hanging around, boarded up shops and graffiti. Wouldn't want to walk on the street late at night.

Cannot rate this hotel too highly as they ticked every box for our week long stay in Porto. The food and drink from the roof terrace were delicious and there was live music on a couple of evenings too. The rooms were cleaned every day and new linen provided. The hotel was a pleasant 15 minute walk from the main shopping street and old town etc. and there were nice restaurants within 5 minutes of the hotel if you didn’t want to venture down to the river side.

The only niggle which was a small one was the cleaners would only leave e few milks for teas and we had to ask at the bar for a jug of milk to put in the fridge. That’s it. Hardly a catastrophe!

Truly superb boutique-like hotel: -Great bed, cosy room, with eye for detail -AMAZING breakfast. O.M.G. -Nice little rooftop pool and rooftop bar with annex restaurant and amazing views! -Perfect location, great neighbourhood with many foodie restaurants, close to center. -Wonderful staff - that go the extra mile. -Little perks and quirks left and right, like a free bottle of wine, candy floss machine, iced water in the lobby, guest service,...

I would book in a whim again, but still, two minor issues: -I booked a standard double room, yet no closet whatsoever for clothes, other than a tiny spot to hang some shirts above the safe. Surely, the bulky coffee making machinery above the fridge could make place for some closets? Anyway, forced to live out of a suitcase. -Drinks and food a tad overpriced in the rooftop bar and restaurant (e.g. 15 euro for a GandT is excessive in Porto). The steak was not good.

We stayed in Porto for three nights and, from the moment we arrived, felt warmly welcomed. The staff were extremely professional, providing us with detailed information about the city, offering excellent recommendations, and even greeting us with a welcome drink—a gesture we truly appreciated. The room was impeccable: spacious, clean, and equipped with all the necessary amenities. The shower’s water pressure was excellent, which made our stay even more comfortable. Additionally, the housekeeping team did an exceptional job, ensuring everything was maintained to perfection. Regarding the hotel’s location, it is extremely convenient, being close to the metro station and offering easy access to all the tourist attractions. It’s also worth noting that the area is quiet and safe, perfect for unwinding after a day of exploration. Overall, a highly recommended experience—we would return without hesitation!

Our room was spotless, comfy beds and a great shower. There were some complimentary gifts as a welcome and we got a bottle of water every day. The staff were amazing, so friendly and helpful with any queries we had. We only had breakfast once but there was a good selection of food available. There's a rooftop restaurant and pool, which we didn't use as we were too busy exploring Porto, but it looked a lovely place to sit and relax.There are several restaurants nearby.Antunes,good food but make a reservation as its always busy and make sure you're hungry as the helpings are huge!!! Id certainly recommend this hotel and wouldn't hesitate to stay there again.

Nothing. The location is about a 20 min walk to the centre but the area is nice and quiet and there's a Metro just round the corner if you don't want to walk.

The hotel is ideally located—just a short walk from the main shopping and café-lined streets of the city centre, yet tucked away in a quiet back alley that offers a peaceful retreat from the bustle. The property is spotless and well maintained, with tasteful, fresh décor that creates a welcoming atmosphere. The in-house restaurant is charming, with a lovely ambience. The food was excellent, and the staff were both professional and genuinely warm. We always felt welcomed and well looked after. I particularly remember Rodrigues, Pedro, Alexandre, Inês, and Gabriela (I hope I’ve spelled those correctly), who went out of their way to make our stay enjoyable. The real highlight of this hotel, however, is its team. Across all levels, the staff were friendly, efficient, and clearly worked together to ensure guests had a smooth and enjoyable experience. In my view, the front desk team exemplify the very best of Portuguese hospitality. I especially want to mention the three Lucases—Lucas R., Lucas J., and Lucas C.— who were always available to help, whether it was offering local tips, recommending restaurants, parking the car, or answering questions. Their English was excellent, and they made everything feel effortless. Lucas R. stood out for his warm guidance, and one particularly memorable moment was when he introduced my friend and me to some delicious homemade Portuguese dishes—a real personal touch that made us feel at home. This kind of genuine hospitality is sadly becoming rare in many parts of the world due to the pressures of mass tourism. I sincerely hope Portugal holds on to this spirit, which is part of what makes the country—and places like this hotel—so special. I would gladly stay here again on any future visit to Porto.

For a hotel of this caliber, it was disappointing that the bathroom lacked a bidet. I would recommend the hotel consider making this investment—it would be well worth it and enhance the overall guest experience.

Everything. It was clean, charming, and so comfortable. The front desk, bar and restaurant staff were kindness and friendliness itself; in fact, the staff were all absolutely amazing and the level of service was superb. A friendly valet helps to park your car, if you have one, and retrieves it when you leave. The room was a heavenly home base of comfort and rest, with good mattresses and pillows, smooth, crisp linens, and plenty of big, fluffy towels. The bathroom, shower and bedroom were kept sparklingly, spotlessly clean and fresh every day, and the hard floors were kept clean to the point that my slippers and socks picked up no smudges when I walked on them. The food in the restaurant was uniformly delicious and excellent, and the wait staff always knowledgeable and courteous. Altogether it was the best hotel experience of my well-traveled life. As beautiful and comfortable as the hotel was, it was the quality of the staff that really made my stay an utter delight. I will definitely return again.

The only minor improvement I can suggest is that there be an outlet near a mirror in the bedroom so that people like me who use electric hair styling tools can easily fix their hair. It was a bit of feat of ingenuity to accomplish this, but I managed.

Excellent location two minute walk from the metro which we used for city centre and airport. Breakfast was amazing and included fresh omelettes/juices plus the food we ate on the rooftop terrace was also outstanding quality. Most of all we valued the customer service here. Nothing was too much trouble and when we had a problem with our room they sorted this out discretely and immediately, checking to make sure we were happy. Thank you to all the staff who looked after myself (Rosemary) and my daughter, you are a credit to the hotel and the company.

Maybe consider how the space is used directly around the pool perimeter so that more people feel they can swim without waiting for a sunbed.

Everything! The hotel location is perfect, the services are amazing and so are the rooms. I have never seen such a clean service. Also, the bed was extremely comfortable and huge. I felt even better than at home and slept like a queen for the entire stay. The hotel also provides additional services on request which I only discovered by downloading the app. So I advise downloading the app as well. Breakfast was also incredible, as well as the quality of the food at the rooftop restaurant. I would always come back here.
