Location is excellent, we walked everywhere for sightseeing, restaurants, markets and bank-side, they are all within 15-25mins walking distance. Hotel facilities are great, we enjoyed the pool and booked a full-body massage, it was very good. We attended a free on-site soap workshop in the hotel garden, it was fun. You can also sign up for yoga classes and pottery workshops for a fee.

Staff were amazing, very were friendly, helpful, nice and always helped with recommendations. I would recommend anyone to stay here if you are looking for a premium. Great location and great facilities.

They need to address the security of their online booking system as it appears to have been compromised. I unfortunately fell victim to a phishing scam, which originated from a fake Booking.com communication. It took me 10 weeks to recover my money, and I had to go through Monzo for the resolution

This boutique spa hotel was a hidden little gem! 2 minute walk into the old town and if you enjoy walking the entire old city is within 20 minute walk. My room was incredible, ground floor overlooking what is a precious commodity in old Oporto, a beautiful little garden, with splash pool and jacuzzi, both heated. The room was a wonderful mix of ancient stone walls and mod cons/comfort. The staff were just fab, friendly, helpful and professional, most helpful as a middle aged woman travelling solo. That said young families and couples shared the space and so it seems good for all kinds of traveller. Most evenings from 6 to 8pm there is live music, nothing too loud. I only took breakfast once, but it was varied for choice and all prepared to order. Finally the spa is wonderful. The Turkish bath is the perfect temperature and the spa treatments themselves of a very high quality. I would highly recommend this hotel to travellers of all types, especially if you're looking for a relaxing holiday, with home comforts.

Absolutely nothing, it was far superior to my hopes and expectations

Superb location, right at the door to Porto’s heart! Intimacy, fewer rooms (around 25 I’d say) and ours was in quite good condition. Swimming pool and jacuzzi weren’t bad. Staff and service were exceptionally good and dedicated.

Breakfast (not cheap at all) lacked proper vegan offering and that’s something I’ve come to take for granted from any decent hotel nowadays.

Breakfast was excellent many choices & menu offerings. Room exceptionally comfortable with extra amenities (port, water, turn down w tea) nice to have pool & jacuzzi. Would have liked to have had time for the lovely spa. Staff welcoming & helpful.

Would have liked restaurant/bar available for more than breakfast. But the staff were very helpful recommending nearby restaurants

Loved everything - great location (walked everywhere), super room, beds and bedding were awesome, facilities are great, pool area is small but beautifully done, breakfast was fresh and made to order, and the staff - they were the icing on the cake! There were poolside acoustic concerts with wine/refreshment service 6-8pm thurs fri and sat- with super talented musicians. We loved our garden access room - it was cool and so quiet at night. Parked our car for 4 days in a local lot where we had in and out privelege - never used the car - We did not want to leave!

Only thing is the shower kept going cold, so we could not use the shower one after each other. This was only a problem for 2 days! But was then fixed. otherwise the stay was perfect!

Great location (2 minutes from the train station and within easy walking distance of all of the main attractions in Porto). Newly refurbished with stylish decor. Large rooms with comfortable beds. Great showers. Complementary chocolates and port in the rooms a nice touch, along with the nighttime“calming” tea and lavender pillow oil. Very friendly, helpful staff. There’s also a lovely garden with a pool which was a welcome treat after a hot day seeing the sights of Porto.

We loved everything about this hotel. It was a really easy transfer from the airport, the metro is a 2 minute walk from the hotel. The staff were welcoming , friendly and helpful. The concierge recommended restaurants for us and helped us book tables. The hotel is spotless with tasteful decor, we stayed in a garden room with a lovely bathroom and direct access to the pool and spa area. The breakfast was excellent with lots of choice, everything was really fresh and great service from Rueben. Overall a lovely break in Porto and we'd definitely stay at Saboaria again.

The room was absolutely beautiful. It smelt amazing, like a spa, and there were small touches like some wine and chocolate to welcome us. The staff were so friendly and welcoming. They gave us a map with all of their recommendations and were extremely knowledgeable. They even noticed that it was my birthday and almost everyone I came into contact with wished me a happy birthday. The garden was gorgeous and the steam room was a fabulous addition to our city break. The location was ideal and right near some great vintage shops and a great food market. So close to the station too. We would absolutely come back and stay here whenever we visit Porto.

The dance studio across the road was a little loud until 10pm, but it wasn't an issue for us really. The jacuzzi was also on the cool side, but we did get in it at 8.15am right after they turned it on, so that probably serves us right for getting up so early!
