The rooms were nice and clean. We had a nice view of the city. Breakfast was not included so no comments on that. Location is great because is withing the shopping centre el tesoro where you can find literally anything. But not great if you want to explore the city. The staff was friendly

They only will provide potable water on the first night which I find very odd. It was expensive to buy simple potable water, I think this is a very poor performance for a hotel. They assistance took forever. Once I asked for an iron (not in the room) and did never arrived. Room service took forever too and any special request took a while to be fulfilled. The restaurant was nice and the food was great but it was excessively expensive. Even more than a night in the hotel which I find frankly ridiculous.

Our first happy moment at Novotel was an upgrade to the executive floor, which was, as requested in our booking, a quiet floor to grant great sleep quality. Once in our room, we were greeted by hand-written note from the hotel Manager (Ms. Mejia), with a warm welcome message to the hotel. You really do not see much of these details nowadays on a regular hotel stay. Loved this! Our room was very comfortable, spacious and modern; it was perfectly clean, and had everything we needed, including a clothes steamer which was very helpful during our stay! Bed and pillows were very comfortable as well. The breakfast buffet had a lot of variety of fruit and bakery products, coffee was great and eggs made-to-order were a real treat. The restaurant is beautiful with a full wall being a window to enjoy the beautiful views of the mountains surrounding Medellin. Another great feature of this hotel is that it is connected to a big mall where you can find a big selection of local and international stores without the hassle of having to walk far or take a cab or uber. We have been traveling to Medellin often and stayed at well-known hotel chains, but Novotel, hands-down, has been our best stay in Medellin so far! A big thank you and congrats to all the staff. Staff is awesome Buffet Breakfast is delicious Very clean Inside El Tesoro shopping mall I’ve stayed in Novotel every time I come to visit family in Medellin (more than 10 years already). The quality is beyond expectations and it has never changed throughout time (despite of being busier). Just too many good things to say from the facility and staff working here (everybody is always happy to help)

Really nice rooms with a great view, breakfast fantastic and the staff really helpfull. Also the idea of being connected with the shopping mall makes the experience quite convencional.

The main entance is conected with the entance to the shopping mall so you need wait a lot for the taxis or ubers as it turns into a bottle neck. Also the pool is a joke.

Staff service was very good. The room size was good.

There was only one worn uncomfortable wooden armed chair and a desk chair. The room was large with nothing in it for comfort. The room was large enough to have at least a small sofa and two chairs and maybe an adequate sized table. The room for two had, as I said the one uncomfortable chair and a table the size of a large dinner plate. THE BREAKFAST WAS VERY GOOD, NO TASTY MEET AND OF A POOR QUALITY AND ESPECIALLY WHAT WAS WRONG, WAS THAT THE ACOUSTICS ECHOED EVERY SOUND AND THE LOUD DISO MUSIC ALONG WITH THE OTHER NOISE MADE IT IMPOSSIBLE TO ENJOY THE GOOD FOOD. After two breakfasts we could not take it anymore and did not have breakfast there anymore.

Location was good. Room was good and clean. We felt safe.

The final price was much higher than what I expected. There were additional tax charges that were added that I was not aware of. Sometimes the charges on booking.com are included and sometimes they weren't even for the same hotel. That is very confusing and I didn' t notice that which ended up costing me more. Another thing was that you need a cap to swim.

I liked the area, the hotel is connected with a mall and it makes it very safe and easy to go to other restaurants and for shopping. The staff was very nice and helpful and the pet friendly is unbeatable!

The swimming pool, it is not too bad but it could be better. In Medellin rains a lot, the pool is in the top floor and the hotel is up the hill therefore it can be cold up there. I would recommend to cover the swimming pool to make it more pleasant, when it is windy or rainy, it is very unpleasant and I saw it most of the time empty for a good reason.

Very disappointed with the breakfast. I stayed there a year ago and they have had lots of great fresh fruit and cooked a variety of eggs at the egg station- All we got was a few sliced meats and cheese. The toaster for the small choice of bread took forever and people were lined up waiting for a spot. I will go downstairs in the mall for breakfast if I stay their next time. There was no heat...so I had to turn the A/C off to feel warm. They could offer more variety on the TV with apps for netflix etc

Gorgeous views, access to a safe beautiful mall, proximity to great restaurants. Staff were friendly, professional and accommodating, the breakfast was delicious and the coffee was exquisite! I had one of the best massages and facial I have ever had at the hotel spa. Overall this hotel is a gem.

I love the comfortable bed and bathroom, clean facilities and friendly staff. The mall next to the hotel is one of the best of the city so being close to it was really great. Breakfast was very complete for all taste and preference.
